I drove up from Damascus for a pedi and arrived an HOUR and 10 minutes before their closing time. When I went in, the hostess was sweeping up and told me they were all booked up for the remainder of the time that they were open. I looked around and there was nobody in pedicure chairs, and maybe two people getting manicures. I left, called another nail place in Mt Airy(who were closing in 10 minutes) and they told me to come on over. When I got there, they were full of customers and still managed to get me in for my pedicure. Your doors should be open until closing time, with the understanding that your employees may have to stay a little longer. That’s the way it is with a customer service based business.

Marginal service… Most of the nail techs are decent however the last few visits I have noticed the place to become very dirty. Floors are gross, gum stuck to floor… lots of dust. Nail tech cut my finger this time to bleed and this would be my last visit.

My ‘go-to” for reliable, quick service. I have been going for a few years, mainly for waxing services and pedicures. I have two ladies I regularly go to, but when they aren’t around I’m comfortable with just about everyone. They are good at accommodating me, maybe because they know me, but I have been pleased. I’ve had gel manicures, regular and deluxe pedicures, and waxing and find them reasonable. My pedicures last FOREVER. They few times I had a problem with polish(chip, pull up, etc.) they fix it, no questions asked. Please keep in mind you can’t put a tip on a credit card. They do have an ATM in the salon for use, but I can see where some people might be put out with this.

I would never judge a company upon one experience. However over the past 5 years I’ve visited this salon maybe 6 times. Every time I go in I remember why I dont go back. The customer service is god awful. Expect to be ripped off for what you paid for. Manicures pedicures are terrible and the tanning beds are not cleaned and do not work. After my last experience dealing with the employees I will never return. The close proximity of the salon to my house is not worth the TERRIBLE experiences I’ve had. Sent from my iPhone

I wish this had a «zero star» option. I will never return to this awful place and I will be sure to tell everyone I know never to go there. I called before I went to find out how much a gel manicure was. The girl on the phone told me $ 38 and proceeded to give me more information about how long they last, etc… I went in for appt., the girl did a pretty good job. I went to pay and a man at the counter(I am assuming he is the owner/manager) rang me up for $ 40. Now I realize this is only a two dollar difference, but I mentioned that I called and was told $ 38. He immediately became very defensive and angry, saying I called the wrong place. I remained polite and even pulled up my recent calls on my phone and showed him the number and time I called. The girl who had answered my call was standing beside him and she pointed to a sign near the telephone and told him, «See, it says $ 38,» to which he replied, «No, no, still — she pay $ 40!» I said that I felt that it was customary to give a customer the price they were quoted. «You pay $ 40!» he demanded. When I handed them my check card to pay the $ 40, I told him I was very disappointed and would not be coming back. «Good!» he said. «You don’t need to tell me anything!» I was shocked at how rude he was to a paying customer, even while his other customers looked on. I have never once been in an establishment where I was quoted the wrong price on an item or service and not been given an apology. While it was only a two dollar difference, it was the principle of the matter. Clearly, this man’s customers and reputation mean nothing to him. I was blown away by this negative experience.

I love Paradise Nails! I’ve been there twice so far and the technicians are very good. The second time I was there, the technician recommended going with French nails, and she was right, and she did an awesome job and they look perfect! Not to mention, as gel, they hold up to whatever I have to do with my hands. Make sure you bring cash to tip, as you can’t put tips on your credit card and their ATM was out of service when I was there.

If I could give no stars I would. This place was a cluster of horrible customer service. I made an appt for Acrylics and came in. The desk girl was very attentive and shows me to my seat. The worlds most unpleasant nail technician starts on me. I say«I want acrylics». She nods yes and takes off my gel. After she preps my nails she starts to try to put on normal nail polish. I’m puzzled and ask what she’s doing because I came in for acrylics. She proceeds to get extremely upset and talk about me in Chinese. The manager comes over and asks what I want. I tell him I want acrylics and am puzzled why the technician is so angry. Another girl takes over and I switch seats. She asks what I want and I say acrylics she gets angry when I say I don’t want long fake tips and proceeds to speak poorly about me in Chinese(surprise for them I speak Chinese!!) then she YELLS at me as two other technicians join in and they are asking me what I want. After this I should have walked out but instead I sat there after she tells me she’s doing gel(not what I wanted) ands till continues to talk poorly about me in Chinese! When I go to leave after being humiliated and embarrassed from being the salon punching bag for TWOHOURS they tell me I owe $ 45. ??? I was quoted $ 35? The manager then tells me he stands behind how everyone treated and talked to me! Horrible horrible business and awful customer service. They will never ever see me again.

I won’t go anywhere else for tanning or nails! Paradise is affordable, everyone is always friendly, and they do a great job!

I went there today with a friend and didn’t have a good experience at all. The pedicure was so rough and the lady who did my nails made my cuticles bleed and didn’t wipe it off and painted over top of it with my polish and you can see blood streaks through the nail polish on my nail. It was a very disappointing experience especially for how much money we paid.
