Great Quiche and salad. Coffee is wonderful, strong enough but very smooth. Wonderful value. Top notch food and very clean, cute and a down home feel. Friendly staff who will do anything to try to please you. Hubby had a croissant sandwich which was the daily special and was awesome as well. Large portions.

When I went in the place was dead. I spent about 45 mins in here and only saw 2 other customers the entire time. My server was standing at the counter talking very Loudly to her friend the entire time and didn’t really provide a great customer interaction even after being told it was my first time in. I even heard a fellow employee come out and mention that my serve was suppose to be in the back cutting bread but instead had spend over the last hour socializing up front. No ordered a sandwich and it was just okay. The breads was probably the best part. I was also kind of disappointed that it came with Tortilla chips… It just didn’t seem to go together well.

The ladies at Leona’s went above and beyond to get my Grandma a cake for her birthday. I am so impressed with the outstanding service they provided!

It seems that this is where the locals come for lunch. So much so that when we walked in(and nobody else was waiting) it took quite some time before we were told to pick a table and that menus would be brought to us. Once that was handled the service was fine. Two of us had quiche which was good but maybe a bit overheated. The third had a chicken breast salad which was huge and looked good. This establishment seems do do well with salads, many locals came in and got them«to go» for their lunches. This is a bakery and their bread was great so I assume that their sandwich options would also be tasty. All in all a great place for lunch in Mt Angel.

Nice little bakery and breakfast diner just outside of downtown Mt Angel. It is a clean place and the staff are very friendly. The food was average and we both cleaned our plates(which says something!). We were searching for a great vegetarian and gluten free place, unfortunately they did not have a lot of options. They did have gluten free bread options, which turned out very nice.

Wow! Sunday after church seems like a busy time to be there; but we were seated, drink order taken and looking at menus all in a couple minutes. Coffee is really great, refills too :) a couple family members got the quiche which they raved about. I got the breakfast scramble and it was huge, delicious and came with house made bread. Prices were really decent, the 5 of us ate and had coffee for less than $ 50. The servers were attentive to our needs and friendly as well.

Wish I could say that this is THE place to visit for breakfast, but it’s really not. The staff members were«adequate» but really lacked the motivation to interact appropriately with the customers present… for whatever reason. Both the Scramble and Omelette plates were average at best and the single slice of «homemade» toast lacked flavor and consistency… pretty questionable for a bakery. The one-cup-coffee was not very good. Don’t think we will be trekking to Leona’s any time soon.

I ran into this cute little bakery just off of the main highway that goes through Mt Angel to get treats for a Christmas party at church. I was going to go to Safeway, but I’d heard good things about Leona’s and really wanted to get something special. It was about 8:30 a.m. and I had to be at my event at 9 :00. I hurried into the bakery, was greeted by two very friendly ladies and I let them know of my dilemma. They sprang into action and helped me quickly decide what to choose from an array of mouthwatering treats. The owner then arranged slices of fresh pumpkin bread and white chocolate cookies on a silver-colored tray and wrapped it in saran wrap. I had no idea she was going through all that trouble and she didn’t even charge me for the tray!(I’m bringing it back next time though). I was so pleasantly surprised by the amazing customer service, but all of that would be nominal if their food wasn’t good, right? Well, I’m not a big fan of pumpkin bread but I have to say that this was the most moist and yummy pumpkin bread I’ve ever eaten. I even saved two slices to bring home to my son and husband and they loved it too. The cookies were also delectable. Thank you Leona’s Bakery! I will definitely be back!
