Still the best wings around all levels are slightly different and just as good still my favorite wing you have to ask for extra sauce if you like it like I do. the wings are a perfect size not too small not too big

Good thing I went despite the poor reviews. Just wished they had better specials as the wings do run a bit expensive. Will def become my go to spot tho when I’m craving wings

Five star for sure, but only in the wing category. Best wings I know of. And I’m a wing snob. Almost everywhere I go I order the wings with the sauce on the side because they invariably come soggy. Not here. They Par-fry their wings and fry them two minutes more when you order them. That trick guarantees crispy wings even if they are swimming in sauce. The sauces are great too. Their garlic-parm blows away B-Dubs. The owners are a bit surly at times but I choose to consider that part of the charm and I push back anyway. It’s all in fun. Great place. Everybody should come here… we need to keep this place in business.

Wings are delicious. Felt good to spend a little money for a local business as well. Ended up talking with the owner for about 30 minutes and he was very nice and even gave positive feedback for other local restaurants. If you’re in the area, definitely check it out!

Pretty good wings, reminded me of Wingstop and is way better Buffalo Wild Wings The two old men were kinda rude, but probably because we disturbed their tv time and because my family is not white lol

The wings are pretty good. A little expensive and only pretty good… However, they get 2 stars because the place is kinda gross, they don’t offer very good deals, and the guys are usually big jerks. If I’m really craving wings I’ll pick some up because it’s really the only place around. If another place opened nearby I’m sure this place would be out of business fast. Oh btw, they have a huge sign in the window that says they deliver, but don’t be fooled by that sign because they do not.

I’ve been going to wingman on and off since it opened, and today was the last straw. On my first trip there, as they opened, the owner was so excited to say how he «couldn’t wait to put Cluck U out of business.» I ordered and ate my wings, they were passable. Not the worst I’ve eaten, but I hold a higher standard to quality whenever«wing» is in the name of the business. In other words, Red Lobster better serve better seafood than the average restaurant… and Wingman should have wings that blow me away. They didn’t, but were not bad. Some years later, I noticed that the parking lot that was once filled had thinned out, and the venue was empty every time I went in to pick up my order as called in. True to some other reviews I’ve seen here… the wings got thinner as the price went up. I can also echo the remarks about cleanliness, the place needs more attention between the five to fifteen customers that frequent each day. My buddy ordered 30 wings for a football game gathering about 3 years ago. He picked them up and drove to his home in Budd Lake. When he opened them up, he was horrified to notice that there was NO sauce in the container. When he called the shop, they told him he can come back and they would give him the sauce. He explained that he was about 15 minutes out, with friends pulling in the driveway for the game. No love, no offer for rebate or delivery of their«special» sauce… he was screwed and put his own Frank’s Hot Sauce on them. I continued to order them once in a while, in the spirit of supporting a local business and always the hope that they would improve. Today was the last straw. I ordered a wings to go, with the Flaming Feathers sauce I had heard so much about. The wings were scrawny at best, over cooked, and completely void of sauce. They were so dry, I had to put my own sauce on once I got home. What is wrong with that picture? I spent top dollar on wings from a «specialty» wing shop and they were dried out beyond hope. I tried to support a local business, going there on and off for years. NOMORE. I will drive the 13 miles to Morristown to pick up the consistently high quality wings that Cluck U offers before I go the 3 miles to this«soon to be closed» second rate wing joint. They are huge, full of sauce, and very flavorful. Goodbye Wingman, we all gave you a fair shot. Since some of these horrible reviews are over 5 years old, you clearly cannot read or simply do not care.

They don’t give out hand wipes anymore because«customers were filling their pockets,» but I was told by the worker that I can dampen a napkin in the bathroom and use that instead. The ice machine broke, there was no celery, and the seating area was poorly clean. The wings were good, so I will only take out in future.

I tried Wingman after not being here since they opened, I was not impressed at all when they first opened despite being very excited about maybe finding a place for great wings. My second visit will be my last. Prices are expencive, customer service was less than desired, and the wings were nothing special at all, the sauce seems like generic jarred sauce, wings were small, the best part of the meal were the fries. I have not tried any of their other food as I came here for wings, if I want good wings In the area I will not come here and will go to marleys in hackettstown, salt in Byram, or hotrods In Wharton, as those are the only local places with good wings that keep me coming back for more! I really with they could take more pride in their wings

Only went here because there was a 30 minute wait for Cracker Barrel. Just average wings with different sauces. All fried the same way.

So sad, I have been going here for years and now the prices have arrived at a ridiculous rate. Its not even worth it anymore, and despite getting the 15 wing combo I was not allowed to split my sauce selection like I used to. Very dissapointed, with many wing places nearby, I may not be returning.

I like wingman. I think their prices are a bit high for what you get but I like the sauces. Especially garlic Parmesan and teriyaki. I like a little bit of a dryer wing which is what they have. Mac n cheese wedges are delish.

The wings are ok. Not great, but edible. I tried the fish n chips once… overcooked. The place seems to be nosediving when it comes to quality. probably wont be going again.

A couple years ago this might have been just two stars but they’ve upped their game a bit. Wings aren’t anywhere near Cluck-U’s level but have improved a bit and are better than what you’ll typically get at a place that doesn’t specialize in wings. They’ve added a few new flavors(7 – 8) like Garlic Parm which they sorely needed. Gotta have more than just the basic flavors if you have Wing in your name! Like many people I skip the grill and fried food. If I want to get my fix of that so many other choices in the area. They should consider expanding the sides variety like Cluck-U does. Too much fried stuff on the menu. The facility itself is bigger than Cluck-U so no worries about finding a table. Prices aren’t outrageous but have inched up over the years. Use the 10 $ GC for a good deal. Bottomline decent for what they specialize in but not out of this world.

The wings were skimpy, they were drowned in cheap sauce to hide the fact they were overcooked and dried out. The best thing about the meal was the celery, as they were edible. I’ve foolishly been here at least 3 times, each time hoping the bad wings were a fluke, but it was not. Sadly, there are no decent wings for Mt. Arlington locals, so I am now stocked up with frozen wings. I can certainly make a better wing dish at home, than the over cooked wings served at this location. The facility isn’t particularly clean. It is always desolate. Whilst you’re waiting for your food, you look around and contemplate why you even ordered food here. We will not be back at this establishment.

This place has only two good things, hot wings and medium wings. Everything else is horrible and got tossed in the garbage. The wings are ok not great.

I waited until I ate here a few times before I reviewed it fairly. The place is called Wingman, why the heck would I come here for anything other than wings? So, the first time I experienced the thin wings that the two other people wrote about. While I wasn’t too happy about it, I figured I would give it another try. Well, the second time the wings were not only thin, but the level of hotness was not what I ordered. Did I mention the kid working the register both times worked as if he was encased in a jar of Vaseline or something. Seriously, it’s like you are being punked or you are part of an SNL skit, but you just don’t know it. He’s that slow and emotionless. Very weird. The last time I went in(I must be a gluten for punishment) was the worst. Same slow moving kid on the register and a loud hacking chef could be heard from the kitchen. I can deal with a lot of things, but someone who’s obviously contaminating my food is just not tolerable. I must have caught him after his lunch or something, because I didn’t notice the hacking when I placed my order. It went on for so long and was so just wrong sounding that I ended my meal just past halfway through it. I just didn’t want to take a chance and quite frankly I was just grossed out by the hacking and of him clearing his throat. Good wings are not super easy to come by in these parts. Otherwise I would not have gone back after the fist visit. No more visits for me and I wouldn’t get my hopes up if I were you. PASS!

Not the best wings I have ever had but its hard to find a decent wing place around so it fills a gap. No BW3 around here but there is a cluck you relatively close which has been much better lately. The wings will vary from day to day. You can get some nice meaty ones or get small bony or a mixture. The sauce is good. The x-tra hot is not really that hot at all. Hot probably has the best flavor. Fries are good. The meal deal is good especially if you go on Mondays and get your double-stamp. With that it only takes 5 visits to get a free lunch special Though it is tough to do wings on a Monday, that’s for sure. They have increased the cost of the meal deal recently so it’s not as good a deal as it used to be, especially now with the poorer quality of wings served. You’ll even get a grimace from time to time using your free lunch card like you’re stealing something. Customer services is something to be desired and the place is not kept very clean. Ketchup bottle is always broken or empty. They no longer have sweet tea they used to serve(the cost to make a simple syrup must have gone up in price too much). This all adds up to an unhappy customer who at one point was loyal but has not been taken care of as of late. Maybe will visit again for sentimental reasons but I can foresee this place going out of business.
