I absolutely love this school. The kids from K-8 are all nice, great kids. There is a huge sense of community, and wonderful characteristics that seem like they could only exist in books these days! The principal knows every single student by name and makes a point to talk to them, the staff and parents are all very involved, and genuinely care about their kids and their students. It is like a private education without the cost. The only complaints would be with the state testing, but that’s a complaint for the state, not the school, plus it’s so much better than the issues of other public schools. The dedication of staff and parents here makes this truly an amazing education experience for the attending children! I had to review, because i couldn’t bare seeing such awful and inaccurate reviews taking over the school’s Unilocal page! They are not racist, there are many kids from different backgrounds, and they make sure everyone and their traditions are included. They even had a Day of the Dead activity day in the kindergarten class! Many kids in junior high need tutoring for algebra, no matter which school they attend, and I don’t see the teachers here being any less dedicated to making sure they teach the children all they can in a way they can retain. They way they group the kids together by how they understand the material helps keep kids who are ahead interested and engaged, and those who are behind get the attention they need while not feeling left out. We LOVE Mt. Baldy school!!!

This school racially discriminates Hispanic students. If you are a transfer student — beware — you can booted out whenever the principal wants. He is a callous person.
