Paperback Writer has all the elements I love about a good used bookstore, namely quirk, charm, selection, and great prices! Lisa, the owner, is friendly and knowledgeable, and has something for every taste. I am always impressed by the variety of old, rare, and newer books too! The space is fun to browse-​there is much to look at and discover here. She can even special order brand new books for you!
In the other half of this big store, you’ll find Weirdsville, run by Lisa’s husband Dave. There you’ll find loads o’ records, wonderfully creepy collectibles, guitar repair, and more!
They host movie nights benefiting the Humane Society and other fun and interesting events, and are just a great destination spot to check out in downtown Mt. Clemens.
I love this place-​a true gem.

This store has a little bit of everything and it’s connected to Weirdsville Records, so what more can you ask for?
The woman who runs it has an extensive history in the book business and can answer just about any question. I was impressed with the selection!
