I love their food. I used to buy from them at the King’s Highway location 15 or 20 years ago. Today I went in the store and said«I would like 2 roast pork sandwiches but I won’t be eating them for a few hours…» and that was all I got out before she said we only make them one way. I asked if they could put the gravy on the side and she just said no! I then asked if they were actually chasing business away and she just shrugged. I said on my way out that I have purchased sandwiches before at that store that they wrapped for travel. What a complete ass. As much as I like the food I will never go back. Must be nice to be so secure that you literally chase a buying customer out of the store.

Saw this on TV voted as being«The Best Sandwich in America». Not even close. A sloppy quickly thrown together over rated sandwich. The only thing good about it was the cheese which there was very little of. Bread was okay, so basically that’s what saved it from 1 star was okay bread and decent cheese. Meat and raab was bland and mushy. Don’t waste your time.

Can’t believe that in all my trips to south jersey that I never ran across this sandwich shop! OMG!!! The cheesesteak was delicious! Real shaved ribeye, grilled to perfection with white cheese on a long, fresh, doughy, perfect Italian roll. The bread absorbs all of the grilled meat. There are plenty of condiment in the main dining area! Cherry hot peppers! Are you kidding me? All of my adolescent years growing up in the shadow of Philly came flooding back with the first bite. Excellent cheese steak experience! I will go again.

The worst pork sandwich I have ever had. Hardly any sharp prov on it at all. The meat was mushy with no flavor. The only thing keeping it alive is the sauce. May as well talk about the fries. Just blanched and drizzled with cheese. Again, mush. Couldnt even pick up a fry without it breaking. Will not be going there ever again. Working on uploading a pic If you look at all the pics at the end is mine with the fries in the container. look how raw it appears

I absolutely love this place!!! They food is PHENOMENAL and made fresh on the spot. The owners and staff are so nice they treat you like family. Although they are known for their pork sandwiches, I am a HUGE fan of their roast beef. Huge. He way Bob makes the gravy OMG it’s just heaven. Breakfast sandwiches there are awesome too!!! Seriously go you won’t regret it.

Everyone else who reviews Dinic’s talks about the meat sandwiches. It surprises me that no one mentions their veggie sandwich because it is THEBEST vegetarian hoagie sandwich anywhere. We have been fans for years now and have never had a rendition better than Dinic’s. We were even forced one night last summer to try the mixed veggie sandwich at a «famous» South Philly competitor who has franchises all over now, and his mixed veggie sandwich with cheese was just awful, and it cost a lot more. Every component of Dinic’s sandwich is delicious and high quality. The people who work there are really efficient and friendly, too. If you are a vegetarian looking for a really sublime Italian-type sandwich experience, try Dinic’s.

Im basing this review on solely one experience. Upon checking into foursquare, I kept seeing recommendations to check out this place. We ended up getting the most talked about item: the roast pork sandwich with provolone cheese and broccoli raub. I wasn’t exactly blown away by the flavor, but it was unlike anything I’ve had before. I wouldn’t have been able to eat a full sandwich on my own. I can see myself craving this every so often, but I wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way to get it. The service and staff were great. I intend on trying something else next time.

Loved my cheesesteak! Got it with wiz and provolone and fried onions and it was literally overflowing with meat and cheese. I was going to ding it one star for being too messy, but I figure that’s just because of how much meat they put on it. I’d rather have a messy sandwich than one with not enough meat.

3 stars because of the rude woman behind the counter. It’s not that hard to be polite even if it’s not genuine. 5 stars for the food. Service was very quick. Probably won’t be back. Too many other choices for S. Jersey/Philly food to deal with an attitude that says — «why are you even here?» Go to the one in Philly.

5 stars for the roast beef, 4 for the roast pork at this location. I don’t know what it is but at Di’nics in reading terminal I prefer the roast pork with sharp provolone and rabe, this one I prefer the roast beef, and that’s not even counting the gravy fries! Sure the dining area is small and not much to write home about but it’s clean, the food is great and the service has always been great. I can’t really comment on the other food as I just don’t have the heart to go to Di’nics and order anything other than the roast beef or pork. But the roast pork and beef are what I go to Di’nics for so no regrets here.

Used to flying into Philly, and stopping off @ Reading Terminal Market to meet one of my oldest friends and enjoy a Roast Pork Sandwich w/Broccoli Raub and extra Sharp Provolone. Parking always an issue if I drive there… However, I found they had another store here, which is South of my Daughter & her Husband by maybe 20 minutes on 295 S. Still awesome indeed, and now, I can visit them, bring them a Roast Pork, hustle across the Bridge into Bristol/Levittown and bring my sister one as well. Folks there were friendly, service fast, and food Delish’. When I drive to Jersey, I’ll certainly be making that one of my stops. Because, here, in the Chi-Town area, I can’t get a good Roast Pork, and the Philly Cheese Steaks leave a bit to be desired… altho Philly’s Best, here in ChicagoLand certainly comes close. Too bad they(Phillys’ Best here in Chicago) don’t use $harp Provolone, even tho I’ve asked them to. Mu$t be Reason$ Why they don’t. Now, If they’d ONLY sell the shirts here, coz I’ve been looking for one of their RED ones for years now.

My husband grew up in Cherry Hill and one of the things he misses most about the South Jersey/Philadelphia area is roast pork sandwiches. So when we came to Cherry Hill this past weekend to see his parents, we made a special trip for lunch at Dinics. As a complete rookie to roast pork sandwiches(I did not grow up in the area, but instead in the exotic far reaches of Central Jersey), I was pretty impressed with this hearty contender. The roast pork was sticky, tender, and juicy, and the spinach was laced with garlic. Sharp provolone is a must, and all the components feel right at home in an imported Sarcone’s roll. There is a small counter and also speedy waitress service. You should eat the sandwich there, as the delicious pork jus can make the sandwich soggy if not consumed quickly.

I was going a bit looney in trying to hit as many palaces I could in Reading Terminal and based on reviews and crowds I choose Dinic’s for one of my lunches and enjoyed my selection of roasted pork. I was surprised by the size in a good way as it was bigger then expected. It was juicy but not a «drip all over your shirt» juicy. The service was quick despite the long line and full counter as they got a good system in moving line customers through quickly I had debated the Italian rub pork and the beef brisket and again not enough meals in a day or the ability to eat that many so the roast pork is all I can speak of but good speaking of it I can do and do

My buddy around the corner is always talking about how good this place is… He goes here pretty often. I drive by there often, but bever thought about pulling into the lot… I would more than likely get Chik-fil– A up the street first since they rarely screw anything up… I also have grown tired of trying all of the so-called good roast beef/pork sandwich places… Well, I gave in to the hype and stopped in… Tiny little place on the inside, basically counter service, with seating inside… I ordered a roast beef and a chicken parm to go… The roast beef was pretty good, with great sharp provolone. But it’s hard to judge other roast beef sandwiches when I’m a fan of Nick’s on 20th St… But what made the trip worth it was the chicken parm… Now this was a great sandwich… Extremely tender with a pretty good sauce… Both were huge sandwiches… I could have saved the money on the fries, but it might just be that I’m in an onion ring mood these days whenever they’re available and made fresh… Not a bad visit, and I would stop in again… Surprised that I never stopped in here once in all of these years.

I have been wanting to try this place since I saw it on man vs food. I woke up early to avoid the long line arrived a little after 10. I ordered 1 roast pork hero and 1 roast beef hero. Both with Provolone and Sweet Peppers. This is was one of those sandwiches, you know what I am talking about. That you tell people about, and wish you could get every day! It was so good!
