Just stopped in to buy a few things. The sales clerk, who was perfectly pleasant to every other customer, was rude and dismissive because I didn’t want to sign up for a Walgreens card. No thank you, no response to my several thank yous upon receiving my merchandise and change, and stuck my bag in my face without looking at me and started on the next person. FYI, I have a stomach virus. I was rushing home because I’m sick and I can barely speak. You work at a place where sick people go. Have some compassion. Thanks for making my day just a little bit worse.

By far the most annoyingly slow check out even if there is no one ahead of you… STOPASKINGDOYOUHAVE A WALGREENSCARD. And just move a little faster.

*This review is for the pharmacy department ONLY. It doesn’t cater to the rest of the store.* Last week, I was ridiculously sick with a sinus infection. My doctor called my prescription in to this store 25 minutes prior to my arrival. Now, I truly did expect to wait a few minutes while they filled it. No big deal. I get to the pharmacy and there was one gentleman in front of me. I hear the pharmacist tell him that they were having issues and nothing could be put through insurance. It was delaying pick-up’s. She tells him to wait. He goes to sit down and I walk up to the window. The pharmacist looks at me, clearly annoyed/frustrated, and says«did you hear what I just told him?» I replied yes, but wanted to know if my prescription had arrived from the doctor overall since I’d come directly from his office. She couldn’t find me in the computer and said she had to go through her faxes and voicemails. No problem. She goes to her computer and I wait… and wait… and wait… She’s on the phone, rifling through papers, calling other Walgreens branches to tell them of the insurance issue, completely forgetting that I’m waiting to see if my prescription arrived. Please keep in mind I was standing where she could see me. I didn’t walk away or go to shop. I was right in front of her. She never came back to tell me if it was there or not. I waited for 25 minutes(I timed it) before I started to get really annoyed. Another pharmacist comes back from break, so my husband goes up to investigate. She said that numerous faxes had arrived and she’d have to go through all of them. My husband said not a problem, we would wait. She didn’t make a MOVE to go through the darn faxes!!! She told him that it would take her awhile and motioned to the next customer behind him to come to the window. My jaw hit the floor. Just tell me if it came in or not!!! We call the doctor and tell them what had happened at Walgreens. They move my prescription to the competition across the street. We immediately left, drove 25 feet to the other store, and in a matter of 10 minutes, we had my prescription filled and I was on my way home. I understand that it was hectic due to the insurance snafu, but keep your customer informed. If either pharmacist had taken the time to look to see if my information was there or not, I would’ve gladly returned later that day for my prescription. I don’t mind waiting while you go through faxes, but to have both pharmacists tell me that and NOT do it made me quite miffed. You’ll have satisfied customers if you communicate and do your best.
