This place looked very cute. I like the feeling at first and the food was alright but the lady here was extremely very and absolute RUDE!!! SO that is the reason I’m giving it a 1 star.

After stopping at 4 closed places for lunch we settled on this place. Glad we did! Best burger I’ve had in a long time! Cooked to order. Pretzel bites and french fries were awesome, too. And of course the ice cream.

Amazing variety, pretty short wait time, friendly staff and clean tables. I love the Grill and Chill. I love getting a cheeseburger, fries and a chocolate milk shake when I’m in town. They have indoor and outdoor seating and they always keep it clean and organized. The 25 cent machines are fun for the kids I babysit, too!

I love going to the hometown ice cream shop whenever I get back to Mt Gilead. The soft serve is far better than any other that I have tasted in several other states. Their menu seems like it is endless. So many things to choose from. My son is a picky water and he had plenty of things that made him happy. The food always tastes great and the service is great in my opinion. I saw another review that complained about several things including the service, but its not a sit down restaurant with waiters. If you want something after you order then you have to go up to the window and ask for it. They will certainly take care of you. Not sure what the other reviewer was expecting.

I have been coming here for as long as I can remember. To me, this is still Marlene’s. That will likely never change. I only had ice cream (soft serve orange), but everything was great. Service was not bad considering it was teenagers (if you expect much, you clearly do not remember being a teenager).

My friend and I found ourselves on a road trip through the sticks of Ohio and stumbled upon the Grill and Chill. I’m typically a fan of trying hole in the wall places, but G&C just didn’t cut it.
The people weren’t very nice, the food was terrible, and the fountain drinks tasted like they had chlorine in them.
When we walked out, my friend asked if I was going to give the G&C a one-​star review on Unilocal.My response? «Nah, I reserve those for when I get food poisoning.»
Well, G&C, you’re one notch above food poisoning!
