Usually Cracker Barrel has an awesome wait staff. Monday May 9, 2016 I took my wife and family of 6 out for our 36 anniversary. The lady waiting our table did not record our order. I cannot blame her altogether for someone else brought our food out to our table. So let me blame the administrative staff at Cracker Barrel for allowing other people to handle someone’s table. She did not get a chance to look at each plate to make sure that the items were done correctly and they were not correct. We have a little Diner in town called Courtney’s and I’ve always enjoyed going there and would endorse them at this time for any gathering that you might have in the future.

Very busy location, was seated pretty quickly For a party of 4. Going into a cracker barrel you pretty well much know the whole menu, at least we do. Waitress took our order, I ordered the lunch deal, just the right portion size, meatloaf with two sides. I told the waitress since my son was ordering the grilled catfish to please tell the cook to plate mine after the catfish is cooked, since my meal is already cooked.(Was told to ask for this at another location) so it doesn’t sit there and get cold. Well, got my meal. My meatloaf was Luke warm. I told the waitress let the manager know to check the temperature of the meatloaf. The manager, after I was done with my meal 15 minutes later… brought out a pretty big chunk of meatloaf on a plate. I told her I didn’t ask for that. She then said, «we could box it up and take it home» I told her no. I don’t want that. I did ask her to please bring me a hot, fresh bisquit instead, I would like that. She said«sure!» Well, she forgot to bring me the bisquit and I ended up eating a cold, not-so-fresh bisquit. Upon paying for our meals I couldn’t help but overhear Gage at the check out register answer the phone and say, «Hello??, hello? That’s ok, I didn’t want to talk to you either!» There was also spilt coke on the hardwood floor while i was checking out, had to step over all that mess covered with white towels just left there. The waitress said she was told to leave the towels there to soak up the coke. There was ice under the towels. Another waitress came up and yelled at her for leaving it there with no yellow caution cone and that the ice would just make it worse. This place needs a manager that can take charge of this location and do her job.

It was ok. The service was super slow and they messed up my son’s order which was kinda annoying concidering we were in a hurry to get to a movie. Probably won’t be back to this location.

This location of Cracker Barrel is decent. Not sure how they’d do with a straight order… what I mean by that, my latest CB strategy is to always ask for«hot food» when ordering. I will explain that most times food is presented luke-warm to cool. Every location I try that, the waitresses nod, quite understandingly, and then voila, my food is at a good temperature. The Cracker Barrel brand is dependable in every way… including the cool food, but that can be worked with.

Deliberated between here and WH. We were disappointed with the quality and quantity of food we received. We asked for an extra side of hash brown casserole and they brought out very little. The waitress was very helpful and got us an appropriate portion after we asked. The bacon was very crunchy. The biscuits were over cooked and hard on the bottom. Service was good but the kitchen lacked something in time and food prep.

I could say this was a typical Cracker Barrel but it wasn’t necessarily that. We’d had some recent experiences at that chain that weren’t great due to the server and not the food. We stopped at this restaurant on the way to the airport in Nashville for breakfast. Getting off the freeway and into their lot was easy and convenient. The stores are always clean and the local items for sale are fun. Our breakfasts were good and so was the service. We had no complaint. If we were returning, we would definitely consider this Cracker Barrel a stop.

Always good food. Can count on them anywhere. Best service by Lexie. Got to be the best Cracker Barrel I’ve ever been to. ALL the food was hot. So enjoyable when it’s all hot. Jamie sure keeps his place running smooth.

One of our go to places for breakfast when we wanna stay close to home. I had one of their new lighter summer specials. It was great! The turkey sausage is the best I have ever had!!! And you can’t beat sliced tomatoes and eggs. I also ended up getting a few things in the store. They have good sales right now. We will definitely be back… Just wish they were carrying regular Dr Enuff and not diet. As a mountain Native I use to go there to get my fix… They’ve been out a while.

Meh! It’s Cracker Barrel. My expectations aren’t that high. It’s fine for what it is. I had the chicken fried chicken breakfast. It was decent enough. I hate powdered gravy, but almost nowhere makes it from scratch anymore so I don’t dwell on it.

This location has issues. There was a cock roach crawling around on the table they attempted to seat us at on the evening of Nov 21, 2014. The server didn’t seem surprised. I see that another reviewer had this same issue over a year ago? We left and probably won’t be back. Get it together Cracker Barrel!

Today is LeRoy’s birthday and one if his favorite stops for multi grain pancakes is here. He loves them with warm syrup, two easy over eggs and crispy bacon. Usually he finds a Cracker Barrel Gift card in his Christmas stocking. Me? I love grilled Cat Fish and over easy eggs on French fries.

Love Cracker Barrel especially the breakfast and the chicken and dumplins. The cornbread muffins are yummy treats. Just one thing bugs me, stop putting my food in little bowls. I“m a grown person and I like my food on the plate.

It’s like eating for free! We always get seated quickly, our food comes out fast and hot and then the check is around $ 13! Of course we only go for breakfast and we avoid the church crowd, but this is my favorite quick and easy breakfast spot.

It sounds ridiculous because it’s a chain restaurant, but this is the best Cracker Barrel I’ve ever been to! The homestyle chicken is AMAZING. I seriously dare you to order it and say you’ve had better. You can’t fake good southern food, and the folks in this kitchen really know what they’re doing.

Don’t get on my case about liking Cracker Barrel. I like this place. I like their french toast. It’s always good. I love their little bottles of warm maple syrup. I like the one back home, and I have fond memories of this location from about 8 or 9 years ago when I drove my sister down to Mt. Juliet for one of her physician assistant rotations. This is the place we met our second cousin for the first time. This occasion was not disappointing. Went here again to meet up with the same cousin I haven’t seen since the last time I was at this same restaurant. Enjoyed my french toast — the company of my cousin and his daughter. The service was great. And I was able to get a good deal on an item I purchased in their country store. My traveling buddy refused to eat here. She stayed back at the hotel, claiming she couldn’t eat here. Never. Ever. She’s southern and says that chain restaurants have nothing on real southern cooking. I’m from New York so what do I know — I just know I like it. And the french toast is so good.(Yeah, I know I already said that, but it really is quite delicious)

Alright… here goes my review. I have never tried Cracker Barrel or any type of Southern food, and since everyone kept telling me that it was«DABOMB» I decided what the heck. I admit I was a little excited, because of the endless praises from friend that this place was good. I ordered the«Chicken Fried Chicken» because if I was to try Southern food I might as well go all the way. My husband ordered pancakes which was delicious!!! My food came and it was covered in super thick gravy… I took a bite and it wasn’t bad, but I kept eating and I immediately felt sick to my stomach because the food was very rich. I think the thick gravy was too much. The pancakes however was delish! I think the next time I come here I’d definitely order breakfast. I couldn’t eat at this place everyday though… The service was great. Our server was very friendly and was very sweet!

Biscuits! As someone who is surrounded by a lot of trendy breakfast spots in the Los Angeles area(ok, enough already with the fancy waffles and French toasts… we get it… you’re trying to out-do each other in creativity), I was looking for some good ol’ southern food for breakfast during my trip to Tennessee. And that’s exactly what I got here! I forget the name of my order, but it was two eggs, two sausages, grits(comes with it), and two biscuits, It was amazing! I decided to go for the turkey sausage to be healthier since I was gorging on fried chicken during this trip, and wow… they tasted seriously good and not at all bland or poultry-stinky. But the star… the biscuits! Being from the west coast, we don’t have fresh biscuits(or even any type of biscuits) available around here, so when I saw these come out piping hot, I was already happy. Slather on some butter and that homemade apple jam — and I can eat this for breakfast every day and probably/hopefully not get sick of it. They’re ever so slightly doughy inside… perfect, with a great crust that cracks right open for some butter and jam! They bring you whtie gravy with it, which is also really good, but the apple jam and butter was the winning combination for breakfast. They do eggs very well, but the grits I could leave(just not a fan of grits; nothing wrong with theirs). Service is excellent… so sweet and down to earth. Very quick, too — even though they were busy on a Wednesday morning. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. I miss those biscuits. Really bad. Or rather, really good.

Craker barrell is a cracker of joint for a billion dollar restaurant chain. I have to admit that this is by far the best chain restaurant food I have ever eaten and it beats some of the southern restaurants in Nashville area. I have been living in the Meat and 3 country for close to two years and I regret never eating here before. We ordered a roast beef and a chicken fried steak and gosh what a meal. Perfecto. The meats were nice and juicy. The roast beef, I have to admit was better than Arnold’s country kitchen. But I think the veggies are better at Arnold’s and Monnel’s. The biscuits are second best only to Loveless café. And all this for a very reasonable price. Come on, how can anyone not like Cracker Barrel. I say don’t be a snob and a chain hater and go to cracker barrel.

What is it with the guys in Lebanon? My grandmothers would NEVER come up with a vPumpkin Custard & Gingersnaps! I come here for good olé country cookin’, not an artistic interpretation of pumpkin pie. Gimmie pie! Get back to your A game CBOCS. You’re getting ready to jump the shark if you don’t stop and get back to reality. Local folks are great! Good store most days, almost every server is excellent.

At Cracker Barrel, if you add the word«Breakfast» to Pancakes, you get two eggs. After some confusion about how I wanted my eggs(on someone else’s plate. I just want Pancakes) my order was satisfactorily completed. Service here is usually pretty decent, and it offers pretty much the same as any Cracker Barrel. If you are looking for an «Old Country Breakfast» you probably won’t leave disappointed. or hungry
