I made a last minute appointment here on a Saturday afternoon. My stylist was Crystal, I believe.
It was my first time to this establishment and when you walk in, there is no reception desk and no one greeted me. I stood there for a few minutes before Crystal walked up to me to ask if I was her appointment.
The initial meeting was super quick and I explained that I wanted several inches taken off. We went to the washing station and it was the fastest shampoo and rinse I’ve ever had. I explained to her that I had a baby about 6 weeks ago and this was my first outing and was hoping to get some pampering. I would have loved an extra few minutes of a head massage or to leave the conditioner in a little longer.
When it came to the hair cutting, I had to stand up for 80% of the hair cut. I’ve had long hair y entire life and never once did I have to stand for more than 5 minutes to make sure the length was the same all the way across. Reiterating that I just had a baby — why would she make me stand?! Isn’t that what salon chairs are for — to raise you up so the hairdresser can cut it?
And they don’t inform you on the phone that if you use a credit card — they charge you 10%.
I wasn’t pleased with my experience. I could have gone to Great Clips for better service.
