The food choices and preparations are terrific and at a very pleasant price for lunch. My wife and I had a simple and delicious anniversary lunch with a prix fixe menu of 3 courses for $ 23.95: an amazing deal considering quality and quantity. There were no up-charges for anything on the menu. My wife had a tomato salad, followed by salmon and a blackberry shortcake. I enjoyed the tuna and scallop ceviche(mainly tuna, but really beautifully fresh and beautifully seasoned), followed by the sizzling spanish octopus(yum) and the blackberry shortcake. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. All this and only a little over a mile from home. We’ll be back.

Just not good. Had the $ 35 sirloin. Tough and smothered in garlic. I would have given them 1 star, but management at least attempted to make it right.

The food here is absolutely delicious. The octopus appetizer is worth the price! I also had the oxtail pappardelle and the gnudi! Their menu changes daily so it is hard to plan ahead if you’re a picky eater, but their food is seasonal and fresh! Definitely will be returning.

Went here for Sunday brunch with my family. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. One of my daughters has a dairy allergy and they made a dish just for her. Food was amazing and portion sizes was perfect. Would recommend to all my friends and I will definitely return.

Amazing place! From appetizer to dessert, we had a wonderful experience. The food was great, the service was awesome and the place was hopping, even on a Tuesday. Mike Raneri has a hit with 251 Lex. Great place which is worth the drive.

Overall very good. Lamb sausage is A+! Service is good and willing. Hostess is a high school kid who needs better training(no welcome, spent more time on IPad than welcoming us and mumbled something about what water we wanted before we were seated). Much appreciate sound absorbing panels so you can have a regular conversation. Food arrives promptly but both dishes were lukewarm and not hot… and oil served with bread is not EVOO, but some low quality oil. Fix these issues and you’re a 5 star!

Phenomenal — my husband and I loved everything we ate, especially the stuffed eggplant, the wings and the lamb sausage! The ambiance was wonderful and our server Keven was fantastic! I really can’t recommend this spot enough!

Although the food was interesting and good, it was overshadowed by the tiny portions and painfully slow service.

I have now been here 4 times. The first time the food and service were not too good. But after going back 3 more times the food and service were quite improved. Especially the food. My biggest issue is the drinks. The martini size glasses are ridiculous. The pours on the drinks are skimpy. They give you one shot on a cocktail. If you enjoy a cocktail on a Friday or Saturday night, go somewhere else first. Otherwise the food has become quite good– try the flatbread with humous and vegetables. Terrific — and the kale salad. Maybe they need a new bartender.

I flew in to NY to spend Valentine’s Day weekend with my boyfriend and family and last night we decided to go out to 251 Lex where The Flying Pig used to be. On a cold winter night(and not typical cold, I’m talking temperatures in the negatives), this restaurant felt like an escape from the hell outside. We were able to score a reservation on Open Table just a few hours before dining, which was a pleasant surprise given that it was a Friday night and my parents enjoyed previously dining here during the restaurant’s soft opening a few months earlier. Parking was a b*tch(we had to park on the street because the lot was full), but other than that, getting there was painless. The waitstaff and hostess were accommodating and friendly and made the entire experience very enjoyable. Upon entering the restaurant(that looks like a remodeled house), there was a coat check to leave our outerwear and we were seated almost immediately on the upper floor of the two-story establishment. The second floor was slightly more intimate than the first floor that housed the bar; it is still being decorated and so the walls are bare, but the tables are intimate with candles and the like and it is by no means neglected upstairs! Since we came on Valentine’s Weekend, they had a special prix fixe menu, which all 4 of us opted for. The prix fixe included an appetizer, entrée, and dessert, with a complimentary champagne for each of us! Bön appetit, am I right? Anyway, the food was quite pleasant. To start, we got the mezze plate, the beet salad, and the cheese Gnudi, which was like a gnocchi. The appetizers were all pretty large portions and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The Gnudi was very cheesy and filling and had spinach mixed in, which evened out the cheesiness. To eat, I ordered the halibut on the prix fixe menu, which came with a faro base and seemed to be covered with an olive oil sauce(I’m assuming that’s why it was so yellow). The halibut was a little cold – it could have used some heating up, honestly – but otherwise it was well-cooked and tasted delicious. The faro complimented the halibut and together it was quite the meal. For dessert, we had the flourless chocolate cake and fig cake just because they came with the prix fixe menu. I was less than impressed by the flourless chocolate cake, which really did taste footless. The crust separated from the cake because it was so hard. I ate it anyway though because chocolate… I would check this restaurant out if only for the attentive service. Several times throughout the meal, the manager himself came out to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Everyone was kind and I had a meal I won’t soon forget.

I was excited to try this new Restaurant as it got such great hype. The restaurant is beautiful. We decided to eat upstairs. What a mistake. The waiter was horrible. After explaining the tasting menu we had no idea what he said, tried it anyway. The combination of the choices made no sense, really chili as a course! The service was horrible. My guest and I were sick after the meal. Coincidence? I think not. Will not return.

So excited for this new addition to Mt Kisco! Absolutely love 8 North Broadway and 273 Kitchen and this one lives up to the family name. Sat for drinks at the beautiful copper bar before our reservation. Was sat promptly at our reservation time in the beautifully redone upstairs room. As with their other restaurants, ate one amazing dish of food after another– octopus, salads, dips, fish and yummy desserts. Love that the menu changes often, gives us a reason to stop by frequently!

Don’t come here if you are hungry, very small portions, high prices. It’s more of a place for a fancy high priced snack.

I am a fan of 8 North Broadway in Nyack so I had been waiting for this to open for months(took me a while to get around to writing a review). We were not disappointed. The vibe is different from the Nyack restaurant, but you can expect the same quasi-Mediterranean fare. Our meal was great from start to finish. Originally when we came in, as the space is very small, we were told there would be a long wait — however after a few moments we were ushered to a table. My date and I chose our drinks from the wine list and were treated to a complimentary plate of pita and delicious spreads. The tzatziki was some of the best I’ve had. I’ll also preface that we came for restaurant week and the menu was for the event. However I didn’t feel that anything was held back for restaurant week as the choices were great. Oysters were MASSIVE and there was a great selection. My octopus was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Boyfriend had a braised lamb dish that was to die for. What really stood out was how well everything was executed — you could taste the dedication to food rather than being«trendy». I will also say our service was far far above average and I wish I remembered the servers name to give props for his attentive service. Very deserving of an extra tip as this was some of the best wait service I’ve experienced in a long time. Definitely would go back I just almost wish the space were bigger as I don’t know how many people could be accommodated at once! Do not hesitate to go here.

So my husband and I drove up last night from Queens. Why would we pay an obnoxious bridge toll and drive 45 minutes just to go to 251 Lex when there are so many places closer bye in Astoria, Williamsburg or even Manhattan? Well because of THESE guys. We had become fans and friends(and possibly even groupies) ever since these two chefs worked for a restaurant near us in queens before opening their first place 8 North Broadway in Nyack. They blew our minds and we have been following them ever since. And trust me, I would not follow someone past a bridge toll if they were not feeding me awesome food. I will pretty much go anywhere if I am guaranteed an amazing meal. This is their third restaurant and we were waiting for the upstairs to be open to come for our first nice formal meal. We walked in at 8 and it was crazy busy/packed(which is always a good sign), so I would HIGHLY recommend a reservation. However the upstairs was spread out enough that it did not feel crowded or noisy at all, we enjoyed our meal very intimately. The drinks were nice and strong, the pasta was so yummy I wish I had more(and more and more) and the duck leg was delicious. I also loved the chocolate cake. I’m a chocolate girl, so it totally hit my dark chocolate spot. However it was not heavy, it was flour-less, therefore so light and delicate that you almost felt not guilty eating it :) I am also VERY conscious as to where my food comes from. We have a 9 year old that have never even stepped foot in a McDonalds and organic, local, sustainable is very familiar verbiage in our home. I also cook… a lot, and I myself am my own toughest critic. So I know good ingredients, what they are worth, and have very high standards(that’s with everything pretty much, I’m a prefectionist) With that said the prices are surprisingly very reasonable considering that they do source their food local, sustainable and organic. Good ingredients are not cheap. Trust me, my biggest expense is my food shopping bill, it hurts… every single week, so I know. Even the wines I happened to know are chosen with sustainability and smaller production/family farming in mind. It’s a beautiful place, the atmosphere is chic and modern but yet warm and down to earth. Paired with extremely experienced, trained and talented chefs along with just great people who passionately love food and appreciate their customers. From the food, to the place to the people you just can’t go wrong. The menu is always changing to creatively use seasonal ingredients, so it never gets boring. All I can do it look forward to next time, and be tortured by their Facebook food photo posts in the meantime. Kill me.

I have nothing but WONDERFUL things to say about 251 Lex! We have had lunch several times, and have not been disappointed! The staff is friendly, the lunch portions were perfect, and delicious, the location is easy to find, and the parking is great – what more can you ask for? The burger is to die for and so is the salmon! *We went when they first opened for lunch, and they did a great job – they are moving in the right direction, and we feel they will be around for quite awhile – just like their other establishments! We look forward to having dinner there in the future!

So nice to see this new spot in Mt. Kisco. My husband and I dined here and we were extremely impressed with the entire evening. Food was great. I had the pork burger which was so good!!! My husband had steak and it was delish! We had a few apps that were perfect. Prices are very fair for quality of food. Portions are really adequate for a ‘small plate’ menu. We were stuffed! Service could not have been better and servers were lovely. Feels like a family atmosphere. Definitely fit for foodies! Some great menu options! Plan on many trips back to try everything.

A great new spot in Mount Kisco! My wife and I immediately felt relaxed and welcomed by the staff. This restaurant is the perfect blend between a very cool intimate and trendy setting with well thought out dishes that are served to perfection. My wife had the Ceviche and Red Snapper… she didn’t stop raving about it. I had the Octopus and Couldn’t help but try the Pork Burger… glad I did… amazing two dishes. The food is Mediterranean influenced using local ingredients and they pull it off perfectly. The service is friendly, quick and very knowledgable about the foods ingredients. The manager, Freddy, is the perfect host. RIght now they have the downstairs and outside patio only open but are opening the upstairs very soon– can’t wait. This is an instant favorite of mine already, well be back!
