Bad food and very bad service. I got the wings which were alright but everyone else despised their orders. Someone Ordered a salad w chicken — it arrived without chicken. Two minutes later the waitress hands over a plate of tasteless white dry chicken. She was overwhelmed and incapable of getting our orders correct and even worse we could NOT get a second round of drinks. We waited at least 30 minutes for more drinks, quite possibly longer. Check was $ 178 for crap food and a single round of drinks. Never coming back.

We were there 20 minutes before the kitchen closed, tried to order before that happened but waiters paid no attention to us(we believe they didn’t want to take a dinner order even tho we only wanted one appetizer) and only asked us 2 minutes before 10. We had a drink but it was not good, badly mixed and once again we had to wait a while to get the check when there were only 5 people at the bar(me and my fiancée included). Totally disappointed.

MTK is a pretty cool little bar featuring live music. We went tonight because they graciously invited my nephew’s high school band to play before their 8:00 trivia(trivia every Tuesday at 8:00). While small, MTK is a good place to listen to live music with excellent sound. They have ten(maybe more) taps with excellent craft beers and gladly offer tastes. I enjoyed several great beers tonight! Also have a full bar. The food is pretty decent. They have wings, hamburgers, salads, crab cakes, and wraps. Very generous portions. All in all, a good place to come with friends to listen to music, watch sports, drink great beer, and have dinner.

One of the better burgers I have had. Some interesting things on the menu which makes a good change from standard pub fare. Oh, and there is regular love music.

Great place. One of the few places in the area with great live music. A nice and diverse crowd. Bar tenders and owners are the best. Especially Natalie, a true mixologist in what at first sight seems like a beer pub. Excellent high quality cocktails and great service. I’ll be back!

I just had one of the BEST brunches I’ve had in the LONGEST time… I used to eat brunch with my CrossFit friends in Manhattan every Sunday after and awesome workout, and have checked out some of the best most unique and delicious spots in Manhattan and Brooklyn. and MTK Tavern MORE than compares. The red velvet waffles were the most amazing blend of texture and flavor with a killer cream cheese flavored sauce and fresh berries served with maple syrup… just the perfect amount of EVERYTHING… also(luckily) got a side of the duck sweet potato hash(and I don’t normally even eat meat!) to split with my friend — needless to say, not much splitting happened… My friend got the steak and eggs and we were both so impressed that the $ 15 bottomless bloody marys were just a bonus :) I’ve come here for the upscale bar food — gastro pub if you will — and stay for the amazing music scene… this place really has it all and I’d recommend it to anyone who is looking for an awesome Westchester gastro pub/music venue with big city quality and flare.

Bess. B Get over yourself! Nasty Witch! Just because of your review I decided to see for myself and Yes you were so wrong. I don’t know where you worked or what experience you acquired in the past 10 years but I have 20 and guess what? Your just a negative hater. We need more live music venues in this bland digital age where no one goes out to catch live bands anymore. The food was great and staff equally as great. Its the negative nasty people like you that makes me try a new place so… Thank you!

Just discovered this pub when my son was performing a school of rock live act. Found the place to have a great selection of beers and a nice food menu. They even have free USB ports to charge your iPhone while you relax and have a drink. How thoughtful.

I’m not sure why this place has such mediocre reviews. I came here on a Saturday afternoon because I always had this place under my radar, and I was craving a burger. I walked in, and the place was pretty empty. Only 1 table was filled, so I sat at the bar. The bartender, Natalie, was very hospitable. She was friendly and welcoming. I asked her if i can eat at the bar, and she said yes. Once i situated myself down and she asked me what i wanted to drink, i asked what pairs nicely with a burger. She was friendly enough to let me sample 4 – 5 beers, recommending a light beer to cut the grease of a burger. She recommended the burger that was popular for the week(the weekly burger special). I opted for the MTK Burger. It came with fries, but i noticed that they also served crispy pig ears, so I asked for that. Seeing that I just ordered probably way too much food, she asked if i wanted to substitute the fries for the pig ears. I inquired if that’s possible, and she said it was for a $ 2 additional fee. SOLD! The crispy pig ears were crunchy and yummy. The burger was greasy and the bacon was practically a thick slab of pork belly. This meal gave me a food coma, but it was well worth it. The bartender seem to know her regulars. She even inquired my name. You don’t see that friendliness much anymore. This place seems to be a good neighborhood bar. My only gripe is that they don’t offer specials for NFL games or show the UFC PPVs. They should at least do the UFC PPVs. I’d watch the fights here all the time then.

Have only been here to listen to music a few times 2 years ago. they are ok, but Mt Kisco is to boring for me. Im used to White Plains and NYC, and its so slow here. thats why I barely ever hang out in this town, even though I can walk everywhere and drink.

Went here to try out the food. Sat and the bar with my wife. We both ordered burgers with bacon and cheese & fries. We couldn’t even eat them. Over salted and just terrible. The owner was walking behind the bar with out a clue. He had to see that we both pushed our meals away but he didn’t say a word. My wife and I didn’t say a word but the icing on the cake was the price. $ 19.00 for a burger like that was a joke. We will never go back. Advice to the owner. Wake up

Good bar. Too pricy for what it is. They are trying to get live music to increase traffic. Reduce prices. That will get more people coming through.

$ 8.00 for a 20 ounce Sierra Nevada beer? Ummmmmm, NOTHANKYOU! W/Mount Kisco strongholds, O’Connors and Village Social, and now with the emergence of WINSTON’S, only a matter of time till MTK falls victim to high rent prices resulting in yet another boarded up failed establishment… Mt. Kisco has become eerily similar to Detroit, Michigan.

I came to celebrate my birthday with my kids with the hope of enjoy an interesting menu and live music after reading a positive review in a local magazine. We were all very disappointed. I even called ahead to make sure that the environment would be conducive to pre-teen children and confirmed the start time of the music. My daughter ordered the salmon which arrived cold and undercooked. It was sent back, but still barely edible the second time around. My seared tuna dish was mediocre. It was strangely crammed onto a small plate with the 2 pieces of frisee dangling off the plate and perhaps a tablespoon of quinoa. I expected more and a better presentation for the high price tag. My two wine choices were both unremarkable, in fact, I could barely discern a difference. The waitress was kind and friendly, but sadly it did not make up for the increasingly uncomfortable environment. At 10:00 pm the music had not yet started(although I was told 8:30pm). The aggressive crowd circled our table to try to take over like a hawk circling it’s kill. My kids felt really uncomfortable. I wish that when I called ahead and asked, my expectations had been better managed. I even asked when I arrived and wish the waitress had said, it wasn’t a child friendly environment. The experirence left a sour note on an otherwise sweet birthday.

Following comments for Sunday Brunch only Food was average at best as we ordered off the menu. The Buffalo Chicken Wrap stayed with me all evening. Service a bit forgetful as I had to go up to the bar to request soda refills. Place a little too dark for my liking but it is a tavern. The music is a nice added touch as the young jazz performer was quite good.

I originally gave one star because while this place offers an interesting selection of beers, their«pint» glasses do not measure up – every beer is a short pour by a couple of ounces. Way to shortchange your customers to save a nickle, if that. Note to the owner: Your menu reflects that you offer«PINTS» — false advertising if not outright fraud. We went to see a band, so I cannot comment on their food. ***The owner responded to my post with a reasonable explanation, so I edited my review from 1 to 3 stars***

See picture above. My salmon was AWFUL. I like salmon to be a little under cooked, but this was ridiculous. I’m not sure how you can make salmon that is flavorless, oh wait, yes you can, if it’s frozen! The zucchini under the frozen, tasteless fish is not even worth reviewing, but I will say it was sauteed in what tasted like a ¼ cup of oil. Service wasn’t the worst, but honestly, when you throw an entrée down on the table as I am halfway through my salad appetizer, you need a little more training Bad. Bad. Bad.
