I’ve used Raymond for my last several sets of eyeglasses, mostly because they are the closest on my HR benefits plan. They’ve always had mediocre customer service, but my most recent experience convinced me to never go back. I made an appointment for eye exam, and had to schedule two months in advance. Finally, the date of my appointment came, I drove in, and was told optometrist had decided not to work that day. No advance phone call. No apologies. By chance they had a time a few days later, so I made the new appointment. The date of the second appointment came and a few hours before they called to tell me the optometrist had decided to go home early.(Well, at least they took the time to notify me this time.) I soured on them at this point. But they had my insurance paperwork, which I’d dropped off the first time, so I had to stop by to get that back from them. I did that just now, and the owner pretty much threw the papers at me with the surliest possible look on his face, as though he was thinking I was rude for expecting appointments to be kept. So, basically, selection is small, hours are not good, location is central to Mt. Kisco, and customer service is surly. I cannot recommend this place.
