I am in the process of selling my home and asked Terminix to cancel the quarterly service. Because I had made a payment, I expected to receive the benefits of the quarterly payment for the remainder of the quarter(until April). The customer service rep rudely told me that because she canceled my account(without telling me I could not reap the benefits of what I paid for with her doing that), that I was out of luck and that the one service I received would be the only service I would receive the remainder of the quarter now that the plan was canceled. That’s very unprofessional and unethical. If anything, my new buyers should be able to take advantage of what I paid for, afterall, why is Terminix billing me for a quarterly plan if they are only allowing me to use it for one treatment? Very rude and unprofessional. I was denied the opportunity to speak to a supervisor at the time.

Since canceling my contract because the salesman said they refill the traps between 6 and 9 months but the company said they do it on a yearly basis, I have received 3 calls from different people trying to convince me to come back. Twice, they offered me a lower price if I would resign with them. All they want to do is get you into a contract then forget you. I had a real sweet girl call me promising me she would get me a partial discount for all i’ve been through. It’s been a month plus now and she never called back. So typical of them.
