The Mount Pleasant train station is staffed with full services, checked baggage, tickets, waiting room, restrooms, etc. for the California Zephyr route with daily service coming and going from and to Chicago to San Francisco.
Building looks original but has been updated of sorts, original doors, windows, benches and brickwork. With new office updates, equipment, etc. The staff here are all friendly and helpful.
There is a coffee shop/​convenience store called (coffee depot) directly across the tracks. That has a variety of foods, snacks and drinks available for purchase as well.
For a small town train station in the middle of nowhere this one is pretty nice.

This is a nice little building. The staff here is very nice. There are bathrooms and vending machines available. If you need to get somewhere from the train station and you don’t have a car they’ll call a nice gentleman named Sam to pick you up. If you need a rental car call Paul at boles.
