Elite Dance International Studio & Apparel

I recommend Elite Dance Studio to anyone interested in learning to dance. No matter what level you are, the Studio and the Instructors are so welcoming! They really want you to learn and enjoy dancing as much as they do. It’s infectious! The Friday night parties are a great way to get started. I just love everything about this Studio.

Full Disclosure: I am not a good dancer. When your dad is is doing the sprinkler on the dance floor at your third cousin’s wedding, he’ll want me next to him to make him look good.
With that being said, my mom and I took a salsa class at Elite recently, and (although I was terrified of dancing in public) it was a great class for a novice like me! James, our instructor, was easygoing, welcoming, and excellent at slowing down the moves so someone of my skill level could keep up. When I did make a mistake on the dance floor (and there were many, trust me), he made sure to help me along discreetly, so I wouldn’t be too embarrassed.
Group classes are $ 12 each, but individual pricing lowers if you purchase a pass. They also offer private lessons, if that’s up your alley, with lessons starting at $ 75 each.
If you’re looking for a beginners class that isn’t intimidating, I’d definitely recommend Elite!
