I like the store for pretty looking pieces and some great handbags but I received a frame for my baby shower and it was left blank for me to go in and add the baby’s name. I brought the frame in and picked everything out. It took over a month and a half to get engraved which I had to call the store to find out they had it back already but no one had contacted me. I opened the frame and the name was beautiful but it was all hairline scratched where the name was. Leaving this beautiful mirrored frame looking old and hazy.

Buyer Beware! Recently purchased 4 Monogrammed items, I was satisfied with 3 of the 4. The silver monogrammed oval with the larger chain flips to the blank side if you lean forward. This is certainly a flawed design that could be easily remedied by moving the holes for the chain slightly upward. The manager was perplexed stating that she wondered why the Tiffany necklaces don’t flip. She suggested I go to Charleston Gold and Diamond to see if they could fix the problem. I suggested she contact the manufacturer about the problem, but she wrapped up the necklace and returned it to me. I am very dissatisfied with Handpicked Mt Pleasant and I will take my business elsewhere.

I loved Handpicked the first few years they were open. I feel like the quality of their pieces has gone downhill dramatically since then. They look pretty good from a distance, but up close they are made of mostly inferior materials(resin/plastic) and cheap metals. This probably works well for teens who often rather have quantity rather than quality– but I would prefer to purchase a little higher quality costume jewelry even if it means spending a little bit more. They do have some silver monogram items that are attractive. Be aware that they also do not offer refunds(store credit only), so be sure that you like what you buy.

I am reposting my review because it was removed for some reason. The only two reviews left o here were the positive ones. Isnt the reaseon Unilocal exists is so we can see positive and not so positive reviews? I am extremely disappointed in the return policy. My husband got me some of their jewelry for Christmas. The bangle he got was too big for me and when I went to the store I was told they only do exchanges or store credit. I always feel like a store does not believe in their product if they don’t offer refunds. I have not found anything to use my store credit on yet unless I want to spend more of my money in the store, which I don’t since they wont do refunds. I also don’t like that you cant use the store credit to shop online. I tried emailing the store on Jan 7th but to date I have gotten no response. I would not shop there in the future because if you buy someone a gift and they have to return it unless they find something else they like they are stuck with a store credit and no gift.

I wandered in here while browsing Long Pointe Shopping Center. I had bought a turquoise dress earlier that week and was looking for a necklace to go with it. I looked through the store and didn’t find anything that screamed out at me(well, there were tons of items that screamed out at me but not for the dress). Then an employee came and asked if I needed any help. I explained the dress to her and she said she’d take a look around for me. She came back with a big grin on her face and the PERFECT necklace! It came with a matching bracelet and the price was very reasonable! I’ll definitely be coming back here the next time I need that perfect piece!

As a chronic procrastinator, I have a tendency to wait until the last possible second to buy presents for people. Have you seen the girl scrambling around on Christmas Eve trying to justify the purchase of mismatched socks as a gift because everything else is picked over? Yep, I’m that girl… and the unlucky recipient is my little sister. Have no fear, future friends, because Handpicked comes to the rescue! This little jewelry boutique offers handbags, scarves, and, of course jewelry… it’s the perfect spot for last-minute presents for all of the ladies in your life. I tend to find my favorite pieces in the back of the store(where they keep the trendier pieces), but they also have a large selection of stainless steel items up front. These goodies can be engraved, and they’re pretty popular with the Carolina Girls. The staff is very helpful, and they’re always friendly. If you already know what you have in mind, or need help picking out the perfect present for the lucky lady, these girls prove invaluable. I should also clue you in to the fact that they’re very reasonably priced! I found the perfect bib necklace(that reminded me of a much more expensive JCrew version) for my best friend for a grand total of $ 18. Score! Also of note is their engraved serving tray that makes a fantastic wedding present!(Trust me, I’ve used it…) For around $ 50, they engrave the wedding invitation onto the tray… and voila! You’re the best present giver in the world! Happy shopping!
