IHOP

If I could give this restaurant zero stars I would.
I’ve been to a lot of towns and a lot of different restaurants in my lifetime and have never experienced issues like I did at this particular IHOP.
After a concert at Soaring Eagle, my family and I ventured to get food around 11pm. This town is a tourist town with the casino right down the road and very few restaurants available. Our choice of food was few and far between.
Usually can’t go wrong with an IHOP! We were told it would be a 45 minute wait for four of us and we decided the best option would be to place a carry out instead. What a freaking joke.
We were all ready to order but the host and hostess couldn’t take our order because they aren’t allowed to. Their only job they have is to seat people. So the hostess went to find a waitress. She said this happens nearly everyday any time of the day.
We waited over 35 min to place a carry out, meanwhile we had our name on the list just in case that was faster. A party that came in after us was seated before us. The host said I thought you guys were gonna get a carry out so I took your name off the list. He said he could give us the next table.
The fact that we waited 35 minutes just to order a carry out was ridiculous. Never seen any wait staff and nobody could help us. Never seen any food brought out from the kitchen.
We left and never got food from there after waiting to place an order. This IHOP makes all the rest look terrible. Never again. Best part was there was a sign about calling ahead for food. We tried that to see if that would work. Phone just rang and rang while the host and hostess stood there and then finally picked it up and hung the phone up.

The food was amazing as usual and the service was even better!!! Our waitress was Jess B and she was great. We got our food really fast and our waitress was on top of our table. We received great service, she was super nice it made our night!!! We will definetly be back again soon! Thanks Jess B for being so nice and making our night!

Staff hiding in back area. Manager slouched in booth playing on phone. Food was decent, but not great. Biscuits and gravy is not real country style. If you order it, the sausage is chopped up and added to plain country gravy.

It took us 18 min to get drinks. And the wait staff forgot drinks for 10 min after ordering. Not the best service. Decent food though.

Service has really gone down hill. Cold food, waitress taking forever to deliver condiments and drinks. So sad since they aren’t busy

Go to IHOP weekly. Always friendly and courteous. I always pick Heather to be my server. Always gets the order right and if something is not quite right it will be taken care of. Great value.

Quick service. It caters to the rural town of Mt. Pleasant so if an non-​white customer walks in, everyone becomes curious and likes to stare.
Perfect hungover food for the late nighters.

For all of the local restaurants to visit in Mount Pleasant it amazes me that the place with consistently great food and service is a national restaurant chain. There is not enough I can say to recommend this place. Their food tastes amazing, the prices are right on and their service is superb. I always leave wanting to return.

This IHOP is indistinguishable from any other IHOP you’ve attended, except for one thing: location. Unfortunately, this IHOP is directly next to what could be considered to be the «bad part of town». What’s funny is that this is a small mid-​west college town, so there is no true «bad part» of town. However, this IHOP sits directly next door to an «Adult Store» called «Intimate Ideas». That store is next to a pawn shop. So that two-​building area represents the «bad part» of town, ha ha.
Seriously though, if you have children or others who are easily offended in your party, this is probably not the place for you, as there is no way to miss that you’re eating next door to an «adult» store. My advice to the owners would be to plant some pine trees on the east edge of the parking lot, to block the view.
BOTTOM LINE: Friendly staff, generic IHOP, right next to «adult» store.

Awesome food, awesome service and a great value. This was probably the nicest IHOP experience I have had anywhere. If you are staying at he Hampton next door, take the 20% deal and feast away.

I would like t o say I love IHOP. I have eaten at different IHOPs throught out the USA and LoVE them. HOWEVER SAGINAW LOCATION IS HORRIBLE!!! The hole experience at this locations was terrible from waitress to the food. When we first sat down the waitress took for ever to come over. then we ordered water. After 15 minutes we asked another waitress for water. About 10 minutes after that our waitress showed up and brought 1 glass of water, their was 2 of us. We waited a while for our food and when we got it, everthying was either cold or luke warm. We said something to our waitress she did not even appologize. Asked for manager one never came after 10 minutes. But they sure did give us our bill. If you are in Saginaw and you are thinking of going here, you would be better off saving your money.

I was on my own for breakfast so I thought I’d try an old favorite with new look. As always the pancakes were fantastic as expected and the rest of the food was good as well. The coffee machine was down for repair but the waitstaff was apologetic for the downtime.
I’ve had pretty good service at all the ihop’s I’ve been to which might indicate they treat their employees pretty well.

After having a card from Hampton Inn for 2 months for 20% off we finally decided to go.
All of the employees seemed to be very happy and nice. We had Princess as our waitress. Very friendly and made sure we had no food allergies before she put our order in. I had the Eggs Benedict. The ham was very salty. The bearnaise sauce was a little salty for my taste as well.
My husband had the chicken fried steak and eggs. He has had this many times before and still didn’t remember to ask for the smaller portion. It is always very tasty, but it is ginormous! He has half of the steak, 3 eggs and 3 pancakes as his leftovers!
