Market On Main

The chili looked great, but was so hot I think it melted the waxy to-​go cup. It had a weird plastic taste.

A great resource for cheeses and other artisanal foods and beverages, as well as entrees to take home for dinner. It’s not as large a store as, say, Eastman Party Store in Midland, but the service is friendlier.

We were just dropping by but enjoyed their wine, beer, and cheese selection. Purchased a few craft brews I hadn’t seen elsewhere, an AMAZING mustard cheese, crackers, etc.
Good vibe, but the cold case’s prices are a bit too much, to be honest. I’ll be back to try the sandwiches!

As someone who spent most of her life in MP, dreaming of something more, and then moving away to find that something more, it’s a wonderful feeling to come back to Mt. Pleasant to visit and to be able to stop into the Market on Main and see it offering a wonderful, unique and special selection of foods, beverages and treats to the city.
I swear by the Ewephoria cheese, it’s wonderful and I get it every single time I’m there (if they still have some available! It’s highly coveted) and over the holidays was certain to stop by to put together the perfect charcuterie tray for Christmas Eve to share with my family. It’s a great place to pick up a little ‘fancy’ treat for yourself, a co-​worker, or friend.
Everything is priced reasonably, the options change often enough (for some one who is from out of town), and the staff is always willing to help.
I only wish that this market had existed when I lived in Mt. Pleasant!

I stop in here for lunch now quite often; they have great sandwiches and salads. Their selection of cheese is the best in town without question and they have a great assortment of wine to pair with it. Their staff is also very knowledgeable about the food they make and the products they sell. Can’t go wrong coming here to pick up some wine and cheese for your next dinner party!

I used to smuggle back cheese when I traveled out of town. Now I just go to the Market on Main. They have a wonderful assortment of cheeses and charcuterie (also beer, wine, gourmet supplies, baked goodies).
The staff is pretty knowledgeable about their products and they let you sample cheeses!
It is a great place to find a hostess gift and I absolutely love this little store.

Excellent addition to Mt. Pleasant and a great reason to head downtown. Very nice selection of charcuterie, cheeses, beer, wine, and prepared foods. Helpful staff. Cute shop. Here’s to hoping this place does well. Check out the Bella Vitano Balsamic cheese… crave worthy!!! The Coppa is very good… also picked up a four pack of Pranqster beer. My only disappointment… was that in my short visit back home… they were closed on Sunday… I wanted to run back and get more of that fabulous cheese.
