Place is horrible, kept running out of mediocre pizza, no silverware, salad bar was barren, and the fried chicken was over cooked. I wouldn’t recommend this to my ex wife.

We visited the Pizza Ranch in Mt Pleasant tonight. The service, food and pricing was super. It was very friendly and clean. Many local folks coming in to feast on great buffet, however, we ordered from the menu and it was excellent.

This is a pretty good place to eat. The buffet is very complete with salad, pizza, and the other foods like fried chicken and mashed potatoes. The restaurant itself looks new and clean.

I called and placed an order for pickup and gave employee my phone, address, order and coupon. Over the phone she repeatedly stated that she was trying to touch screen and system wasn’t a touch screen. She took quite awhile and eventually gave me total and told me order would be ready for pickup in 45 minutes. When I went to get, they said they had no record of my order and couldn’t do anything about it. They didn’t offer to quickly get food off buffet (I’d ordered chicken, potatoes, and coleslaw), or give me discount off next order, or even place a new order. She just shrugged her shoulders at me!

Its not bad, a bit hokey and overdone with the whole Western theme.
The food isn’t bad though, if there’s a pizza you like, request it and they’ll bring it to you before they put it on the buffet. The food is tasty. Salad bar is OK, not great. Wish it were a little more fresh. The chicken is good. Sometimes it takes awhile to get fresh out, which can be annoying. It is pricey though, keep an eye out for their mailers for coupons.

My dad brought us here on our most recent trip to Iowa. I really didn’t know what to expect at first, but wow. The buffet has fried chicken and everything to go with that, plus tons of different pizzas. The food was all fresh, and the service was amazing. They even asked me if I had any requests on a pizza, and they brought the first couple pieces to me before putting it on the buffet. I was shocked, I’d never seen a buffet like this before, and haven’t since either. Very good food, decent prices, and awesome service.
