My partner and I stayed here while visiting family over Labor Day weekend. The rooms were surprisingly nice for what we expected — the bathrooms had just been redone with slate tile and new fixtures, etc. There were also nice metal tables and chairs outside all of the rooms to sit at and enjoy the weather. There were a few oddities — my parents’ room was completely tiled, both the main room and bathroom, leading to cold feet(I can’t imagine walking barefoot on that in the winter!) and while I had booked a room in the main building, both our room and my parents’ ended up being in their annex location across the street. Their free wireless internet was also pretty spotty — they have separate networks for the main building and the annex. While in our annex room, we couldn’t connect to that network at all. We could *see* the main building’s network, oddly, but none of the passwords we were given worked, and were never able to connect to anything. I’d been expecting to finish up some work before the weekend started, so this was a bit frustrating. There’s a Dairy Queen and liquor store next door, with a grocery a bit further down the block, so finding something to eat wasn’t particularly difficult. There was also a continental breakfast in the main lobby each morning. Would I stay here again? For the price, sure, especially with the resort markup I’m used to in this area. Just know what you’re getting into, and adjust your expectations accordingly.

My favorite motel in the area. I like the design of the building. Staff have always done a nice job. Rooms are clean.

It’s a $ 73.00 room, discounted ten bucks for AAA. We looked at two rooms before commiting. Then when a fly was killing me with bites, front desk had a solution which was to move us. I killed the fly. But couldn’t shake the feeling of being bitten by fleas.
