So happy to find this lovely little coffee house (and wine bistro) here in SE Iowa. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, even, dare I say, slightly sophisticated, which is a welcome change in this area known more for taverns and diners. The people working here are mainly bright, darling, intelligent kids from the local college who provide very friendly service. It is an excellent place to meet a friend or to bring your laptop and work (which is what I often do).

My family went here everyday on our trip to Mt. Pleasant and absolutely loved it. The breakfast and coffee are amazing! We are from California where there seems to be a coffee shop on every corner and we would be honored to have something as great as Sip by us. Wonderful, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and delectable treats. What more could you want! Sip is stop number one on our next trip out!

Had my first visit to sip yesterday. I will be returning soon. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable about both the coffee and wine selections. They also have a few breakfast, lunch, and snack offerings which are reasonably priced. Comfortable environment. Great place for conversation or reading or working on your computer — which is what I did for 3 hours.
