Very friendly staff — I was involved in a 15-minute conversation about anything and everything just by checking in. Bluegrass listening sessions by the fire pit (nice smoky smell coming from that way). As good or better rate than anywhere else in town. Generous sized and well appointed room, very clean. I haven’t seen every hotel in this town, but I can’t think of a place I’d rather stay in this part of Texas.
