Victoria’s Furniture Consignment

As a consignor with this business I found their business practices to be dreadful. The owner of this business also owns 2 other stores in the greater Charleston SC area. She moved our items to different stores and never informed us of what items went where. Apparently they do not have a single, consolidated inventory (we were told this by two different employees) so we had to go to each store and find our items. They never tell you when an item has sold, you have to go to each store, or call, to find out if any of your items sold. Then you have to go the specific store to pick up a check. Despite asking repeadly, we were never able to get an itemized list of what sold and the dollar amount for each item. We have retrieved all of our items and now work with other consignment shops whose business practices are above reproach.

I was a consignor with this business. Owner took stuff and never paid me. Beware.

On the whole they had pretty decent stuff here. It wasn’t shoddy, it wasn’t out dated, some of it was even kind of cool. If you’re going to GDC Home next door you might as well stop by this little shop too.
