Carter’s always has a great selection of clothes for a baby or young child. Unlike some other stores that sell children’s apparel, there is a good balance here between girls’, boys’, and unisex clothes. Carter’s costs a little more than Walmart or Target clothes, but the quality is very high, and the selection at this location is amazing. Their sizing guides, printed throughout the store displays, are also very accurate and go by weight and height as well as age. There are also always sales happening in addition to a huge clearance section, which makes up for the fact that some items here are overpriced at their original tag amount. The employees here are also very helpful. One thing I don’t like is the seasonal clothes or specialty holiday apparel. Well, that’s not quite right. I LOVE the Halloween clothes and that sort of thing. The problem is that for example, the Halloween stuff is in stores in late July, they are out of some sizes by mid-August, and around Labor Day, there isn’t much left – it’s all on clearance to make room for Christmas clothes. Now, babies grow crazy fast, and their growth spurts don’t occur when it is convenient for your holiday shopping. I have a 4 month old who wears 12 month clothing. Who knows what she will fit into at Christmas, when she will be almost 8 months? I think most parents of infants would rather not buy clothes for their children 3 – 4 months in advance! That said, I love shopping at Carter’s and love their coupons, too! Tuesdays are«double stamp» days at this location!
