CubeSmart Self Storage

False advertising! We reserved a storage space online and was told that the payment for the first month would be a certain amount, but when I got to the location to sign the lease, I was told that there would be an additional $ 12 per month for mandatory insurance. This cost should ABSOLUTELY be included in the online cost breakdown, especially since it is NOT OPTIONAL. Also, I was told when I got there that I would have to put a lock on immediately (also a requirement), but since I had movers there waiting to put stuff in the space immediately, I was forced to buy the «very strong» locks that they sold there, which were $ 15.99 each – a rip-​off!
Service was actually very good and friendly, but I felt misled due to the hidden costs.

This review is from an issue almost 3 months back. I had a very serious water issue in the roof of my storage space. I went in to talk with Mike Casarra, explained the issue, showed him the problem and asked for a solution. Mike took control of the issue, found me a new space. Now I needed to move all my stuff from one to the other and he assured me, «take as much time as you need». It took me a few days to move everything, and I forgot to bring a second lock, so he loaned me one. It may seem like a small gesture but with everything that was happening it helped make things go just a little smoother. I have found that with this Cubesmart location, if you have an issue they do try to solve it ASAP. There is not much more to say because how often do you need to talk with the management of a storage facility. JUST found another perk to Cubesmart, there is an online portal were you can see your account, make payments, due dates etc. It only took me 2 and a half months to look at my email, ha.

These guys rock! I parked a trailer while I went to the Harley Davidson party in Milwaukee for the long weekend. They helped me out and gave me first month free so the only fee was the administration fee. Safe-​secure don’t hesitate they are good!
