I go to Jamesons for their delicious tilapia almondine ! They are the only place in town that prepares the fish this way. The other night I went and noticed they had sole almondine on the menu and thought perfect I will order that seeing that it was prepared the same as the talapia! When the server brought the sole to the table they proceeded to debone the fish at the table. During this process the fish was cut into 3 small pieces and the almondine was removed from the fish. I complained to the waitress and she had the owner come to my table. After I explained my disappoint to him about my order, he graciously had my dinner remade and served me what I wanted. I left a very satisfied customer and now understand why Jameson’s is always so busy! I would recommend you try the TALAPIA almondine !

Didn’t end up actually eating here. Used the Contact us form on the website to contact the restaurant twice about gluten free dinning options as our family was planning to dine here on Christmas Eve. Twice I asked about what options were gluten free safe, and twice I got no response. I waited an entire week before submitting another request. My dad called and asked to confirm, assuming they missed the message and got a curt answer, «Things on the grill are gluten free» We canceled our reservation and are going to Wildfire. Their staff can take the time to respond to questions on their site. If they aren’t going to respond to questions that come in from the«Contact Us» on the website, they should remove the option to contact them.

I used to be a big fan of Jameson. Taste of food is great but I noticed with time that portions got smaller and more pricer.

Went there recently after a long absence and was pleased to learn that everything is still very good. Everything from great service – our waitress Myrna was top notch; thanks, Myrna! – to the best tasting garlic salad dressing to wonderfully moist fresh fish… overall a great experience. AND, a Happy Birthday piece of tiramisu which was excellent. A great way to celebrate my birthday with husband and daughter.

Two stars are simply given because the appetizers are pretty decent, but the main dishes were simply not good. The Reuben I had tasted like freezer burn and there was so much oil on the bread(from the cheese of the sandwich) that it was soggy. The fries tasted frozen and too deeply fried. The shrimp appetizer was fine though(hey, I’m giving credit where credit is due).

I met friends for an excellent lunch on Sunday. vEry good service and when my steak was overcooked(well done instead of medium rare) but they promptly brought me a replacement perfectly cooked. The group enjoyed their sandwiches and fish special.

This place needs to go on Restaurant Impossible. First, we showed up between 5 – 10 minutes early for our 7:15 reservation and were told«we’ll seat you as soon as we can.» While waiting we were treated to the bickering between the bartender and one of the waitresses as well as the constant complaining from the host(manager?) and hostess. After waiting for 25 minutes feeling like I was at the rental car desk in Seinfeld(«Anyone can take a reservation…»), I pointed out to the hostess out that our reservation was for 25 minutes ago and the hostess rudely explained something about other people checking in first so they get seated first. Aa side note, the place could use a revolving door at the entrance as every time someone came in or out the waiting area became a wind tunnel. After expressing my displeasure, we were seated within 5 minutes so a total wait time after arriving at the restaurant of about 35 minutes. Walk-ins were being seated in about 40 minutes. After being seated things got better. Our waitress, Jenny, was cheerful and helpful and attentive. We had a glass of wine and a cocktail while waiting for our meals. The wine was a generous pour and the Knob Creek Old Fashioned was well made. The food was fine. Not really worth going into detail about other than it’s very reasonably priced and it comes with all the accoutrements. Very good value. The pumpkin cheesecake was very tasty and large enough to share.

I recently ate there and everything was excellent. I had the London Broil and the beef was tender and the mushroom gravy was excellent. The dinner also included a choice of potato and vegetable. Soup and salad are included with the dinners as well as delicious right out of the oven bread. My wife had a chicken-ka-bob that was also excellent. For dessert we shared a slice of flourless chocolate cake, very rich with a combination of dark and milk chocolate. In addition to the food being great, our waiter was attentive, polite and everything came at the right time… one of the better waiters I’ve experienced, making us feel very comfortable. All of this food and two soft drinks were approximately $ 50 without tip. Parking can be difficult on the weekends but they have valet service. This is a great place!

We have been coming here for years and the steaks and seafood were good. Now that I started a new diet, we were looking at their menu, we noticed the Athenian chicken, so we decided to give it a try. This dish has to be one of the best chicken dish we have had! The two chicken breast were huge and moist, with a ton of flavor. And to make it even better, the price of the dish was under $ 15. This place was always an establishment we’d go to, if we couldn’t find anything to eat at home and it was reasonably close. But after this dish, we’ll be dropping in more often!

If you’re looking for one of the best steak dinners in the area, look no further! Jameson’s is always my go to for a steak dinner in the area. My father and I decided to stop in one evening for a early dinner. We were seated immediately and ordered a cold one. We frequent this establishment often, so we both knew exactly what we wanted. We both ordered the 16oz ribeye steak dinner. Now, this steakhouse includes so much with your meal. There’s no ala cart games here. Your dinner comes with a soup, salad, potato of your choice, and a veggie of your choice. A real value for under $ 30! I ordered my 16oz ribeye with the baked French onion soup, the dinner salad, mashed potatoes, and zucchini. A feast that is sure to satisfy the hungriest of patrons. The Baked French onion soup here is truly a meal. An overflowing bowl with tons of onions, croutons, and melty gruyère cheese! It is hands down the best soup in the area! Now onto the juicy, tender steak. Here, they truly cook it medium rare. I’m talking pink with tons of juice all over your plate. I ordered mine with the blue cheese«crust». The steak was cooked to perfection, nice and juicy. The mashed potatoes were smooth and piping hot. The zucchini was tender and brushed with plenty of butter! The service throughout the meal was exceptional. My glass never ran dry and anything I requested was delivered to the table immediately. Their fresh baked bread is excellent and baked to perfection. If you’re looking for the best steak in the area, look no further. Jameson’s is the place to cure your meat craving! However, be careful visiting on the weekends, as it’s extremely busy. I recommend a reservation. Also, parking is a hassle, as the lot is extremely small. They usually have valet on hand to alleviate that issue. Check it out, you’ll be coming back for more!

I usually have a high tolerance for less then stellar service working in 2 service industries, but I left a bit disappointed. Was there for my gfs birthday and was excited to try it, but don’t plan on going back to this location. Our server was attentive for awhile but steadily paid less attention to us, even up to the point of us getting our check. Our steaks were both ordered as medium temp but we’re overdone and we couldn’t get her attention to question the temp. Another problem we had was that my gfs steak seemed much smaller then the billed size. We may try another location but not likely this location ever again

Haven’t been here in at least 20 years, but the husband suggested it so off we went, with the kids. The restaurant was crowded, but we had reservations, so no worries. Seated, they brought us 5 minutes… and we didn’t get the kid’s menu until the server arrived. No worries. Pleasant service, no complaints there, or with the ambience… even crowded it wasn’t loud. Ordered our food and quickly got our soups. Two to choose from, all went with the chicken noodle. Only complaint I have there is that there was barely any chicken, the broth was very good though, so the soup was a mostly win. Salad, simple, nothing spectacular. Dinner: child #1 got a filet and loved it; child #2 got a black and blue burger and enjoyed it; child #3 got a burger with no complaints; husband ordered ribeye and enjoyed it but felt it was a little fatty; I ordered a NY Strip and it was good, but I had a similar issue with fat on mine. Veggies were perfectly cooked, all around. Dessert: cheese cake and tiramisu… both were wonderful! Dinner was very good, better than we get at a cheap, chain steakhouse, and for 5 of us, it didn’t really break the bank. We will go back.

This place is pretty close by my parents house — occasionally I’ll bring my mum out here for lunch before she has to go to work on the weekend. Everything I’ve had here, from the fried calamari(fresh and very tender) to the shrimp de’jonghe(garlicky goodness) to any fresh fish of the day or the ribeye, has been prepared well and has always been really flavorful. The service is always friendly and pretty quick. Will definitely be back in the future with the fam.

I have been coming here since I was a kid, and the food, service, and atmosphere was always stellar. Recently, however, the latter is the only aspect that is still decent. Even that is waning, though.(No, I don’t like to be stared at by condescending geriatrics while I eat my dry, microwaved buffalo wings with no sauce, and an iceberg salad straight from my 7th grade lunchroom.) I decided to order the Alaskan halibut special. And the only thing special about it was that it gave me a nice, humbling experience with food poisoning for the next two days. Our soup was a bit cold, the service was slow, and my girlfriend’s chicken was undercooked. Granted, it was a Saturday at prime time, but if Jameson’s can’t handle the heat, they should get out of the proverbial kitchen. They have lost a long time customer as I will never eat here again. And it’s a shame.

Three stars because it was decorated nicely for Christmas. I had prime rib and Christopher had steak medallions. Neither of us were knocked over by our entrees. They were ok, but we’ve both had better. I had the French onion soup and it was terrible. One tiny croûton with about ½ teaspoon of parmesan cheese that looked like it came from a store bought shaker can. There was no melted cheese at all. Very disappointing. I doubt we will be back, it just wasn’t a fun meal for the price.

A wrong turn brought me here. I love the old school steak house atmosphere, with the dark wood. It rained for 3 days and I caught a cold on the first. I loved the selections, we both got rib-eyes, cooked perfectly. Portions are huge, including the soup. I think soup AND salad are included. Generous to a fault. Seafood sounds just as inviting. This is now on the list for visiting the burbs. I’d recommend coming here as early as possible, fills up fast for good reason.
