If you cannot find a spot to sit inside or outside at Capannari(one of the best, if not *the* best suburban ice cream shop around), make your way to Moehling Park and take a seat on one of the benches as you admire the pretty flowers and sculptures carved from trees and the butterfly garden. The park’s cuteness and charm definitely makes up for its small size. The park offers a tranquility that is sometimes missing from the hustle and bustle of suburban life. Sitting here for a moment almost makes me forget that I’m *this close* to Central Road, which is a busy main street. Next time you’ve got a hankering for ice cream, grab a scoop(or two or three) and make your way to Moehling Park. Let your eyes feast in the beautiful scenery as your taste buds indulge in your sweet treat(s).

Moehling Park is a cute as crap little park that I could probably fit in my pocket… Ok, maybe not my pocket(tight jeans, wooo!), but maybe my apartment. Located in what’s basically Capannari’s backyard, this teensy tiny little slice of suburban-botanical goodness is a total gem… granted it really only takes about 35 seconds to loop the whole thing, it’s got flowers, carved tree art, hand painted sculptures, educational placards, fine brick walkway, comfy benches, shade and its right next to the suburbs’ best and cutest little iced creamery. Moehling is a win on every level.
