Opal Nails

Finding a new nail salon is difficult for me. I loved my usual salon but they were recently undergoing remodeling and they were a little far from my apartment so I set out to find nail salon closer to me. I decided to give OP Nails a shot and I was not disappointed! The workers are friendly and no chip manicures are only $ 25 which is cheaper than anywhere I have found.
Although walk ins are welcome they seem to usually be very busy so I would make an appointment!
I will definitely be coming here frequently from now on.

I am been coming here for 3 years now. Karen and Lee are the best! They take their time and I always leave happy! I used to just swing into whatever salon I passed but I soon became a loyal customer. Wont be going anywhere else anything time soon :)

My mom and I both walked-​in on Sunday afternoon for a mani and pedi. The service was fantastic and prices are reasonable. Karen and staff took there time and did a wonderful job. I highly recommend this place and will be back. Thank you!

This was a nice place for just a quick mani or pedi. It’s pretty clean and decent pricing. My
Mom and hubby also got pedicures which they enjoyed. No complaints.

I used to go here all the time when I lived closer, now I’m back and ready to go again!
I like the MAN for the pedicures b/​c he is more aggressive and I have feet that are used aggressively. Nice place, staff is friendly, place is clean, what more can you ask for, really?

I was in the area and not planning on a manicure but they looked available since it was mid day. The lady I had was very nice and did a great job. The prices were very reasonable too. Will definitely be coming back to try the gels.

Terrible Terrible Terrible… I went in cause well 12 $ manicure I have to try it so the women took me right away I was impressed. I picked the color she was nice and we spoke but then she messed up my nails it was thick cause it was old and almost empty she kept thinning it but there were air bubble and hair on my nails and the edges were terrible so I asked her to take it off as I chose another thinking it was the nail polish but No it wasn’t she put the other on and it had hair in it she told me she was finished and the edges were horrible I had polish on my fingers and there wasn’t polish on the sides of most my fingers I finally just told her to take it off and left. I call back cause I had already paid for it and the owner told me to come in the next day and she would do it her name is Karen. I go and she seems in a rush she started to do my nails without a base coat after I asked her to put it on It started looking nice and then at the end she messed a nail up and then asks me if she can leave it Really? And some of my edges still looked bad. She doesn’t even take my to dry my nails she just kept me at the tiny fan at the table she did my nails at then processed to get up get her coat on and turn the lights out and sit down and look at me. After 10 minutes I tell her she didn’t do a top coat on one of my hands she argues with me about how she’s been doing it for 10 years and I showed her it was noticeably not as shiny as the other handsaw she argues I ask her to at least do one of the nails cause it looked kinda dull. She puts her bag down and does one nail and then get up and goes by the door and sits down and gets on her phone so finally I just get up and leave. And that’s my experience and it was Horrible…

I came in late on a Thursday desperately needing a manicure for the weekend, and Karen was sweet enough to squeeze me in. She did a perfect gel manicure ($ 35) and waxed my brows ($ 10). She’s very meticulous and gentle, and very personable. The décor is a little outdated, but it’s clean, and they do a lovely job.
I’m so glad I found this place and I’ll definitely be back.

I had gone twice and wish that I hadn’t. The man was nice but his work just sucks. Air bubbles in my nails, he made me bleed both times, my French was too thick and I had to keep on telling him to go thinner, and the filing and buffing was uneven. I was on a time limit and 1.5 hours wasn’t cutting it when it was just me and another lady. All I had done was a full set and I’ve never had to sit that long anywhere else before. And he didn’t add glue in between the nails so food or anything else wouldn’t get into it and when I had him do it, he still didn’t even get it covered so I’m not quite sure what he thought he was even doing. Didn’t like it the first time but thought I’d give it the benefit of the doubt but I regret it so much. Waste of time and money.

My good friend scheduled mani/​pedis for herself and us bridesmaids the day before her wedding and everything turned out great. :)
Otherwise, you don’t usually need to schedule before coming in, unless it’s something special and you need to make sure it’s done at a certain time.
I almost always walk in and there is usually someone ready for me — if not it’s a short wait. I waited a long time on New Years Eve when I walked in — but that’s to be expected when it’s last minute for a holiday.
They really pay attention to your cuticles and the details of their work. I’ve never received a bad mani or pedi here. Nor do they rush.
My friend also gets her eyebrows waxed here every couple weeks, and seems happy with them.
