OMGGREATWRAPSANDSANDWICHES. ANDBEVERAGES. JUSTGOHERE. I like supporting an establishment where the staff obviously enjoy working. They’re always having a good time when I come in here and usually crack me up just by proxy. How many places so you know that will improve your mood every time?

My chicken bacon panini was so delicious I had to stop mid-eating to take a photo. Really delicious and worth getting a whole for the price. The bread was so soft but crunchy on the outside. Inspiring enough to get me to leave a review.

We stopped here for a quick lunch as we were passing through. The selection was great and the food was good. But, the best part was such a friendly staff.

Convenient location along the downtown street. The selection of coffee beverages was good. It was a hot summer day, and their blended coffee beverages were quite tasty. Grab one, and sit down at one of the many tables to relax a little. Maybe watch the people and cars go by on the street. There’s also a whole other room in the back for more seating. The staff was friendly and chatty. The wifi worked good. Great place to gather and unwind after a day of outdoor activities.

Stopped in here for breakfast after reading other Unilocaler reviews and it definitely lives up to the hype. Le Baconator is amazing as is the Gobbler. Definitely coming back here soon

We stop here when driving from California to Oregon. We, my girlfriend and I always get something different and every time we are delighted. The menu is incredible and the thought of how the dishes are made is fantastic. For example I got a taste of the kalamata olives in every bite. The sandwich I ordered was out of this world bursting with favors. The salad was equally as flavorful with the right amount of dressing and a crunch in every bite. I will always stop on the way up and the way back home. Tiffany was super helpful and pleasant to chat with. I highly recommend this place 5 stars if I could give it more I would.

The vibe is this place is perfect! Very comfy fun place to stop for breakfast or sit down with a laptop. The music here is lots of fun. Jazzy groovy and punchy. easy to sit with. The employees are awesome and fun and light hearted. Best bagel sandwich ever. Came back an hour later to eat second breakfast. Coffee is spot on too. GOHEREORREGRETALLLIFEDECISIONS. Only negative is its not in Portland. C’mon guys.

Umm my bagel was kind of gross. It was an everything bagel that tasted like much of nothing. Drip coffee was a little weak, but my husband seemed to like his turkey wrap. Not much around the area so I can see why it’s popular. I’d give it a big meh.

The BEST place to get food and tea in Shasta. Great tea, super friendly staff. Came here twice a day during our entire stay. The salads were ridiculous.(Got a Greek salad). Highly recommend.

Truly terrible coffee. So bitter it was undrinkable. They also don’t carry whole milk, only low fat. The scone I had was mediocre. Breakfast bagels looked good, but then I watched someone pick theirs up and notice it was made with two bagel bottoms, no top part of the bagel with all the seeds. Disappointing place and probably the worst random stop on a two-week road trip. Staff very nice though.

Good food, coffee, tea in the middle of downtown Mt Shasta. Friendly staff and a warm and comfortable seating area. My sons and I like getting breakfast bagels or burritos on our way to play on Mt Shasta.

I split the massive maple-pecan scone with a friend, then couldn’t resist the chocolaty-chocolate cookie. Got the turkey-asiago-basil panino to go. Amazing. All of it formed and warmed to perfection.

I stopped hear on my last road trip to the top of california. This trip’s mission was to visit EVERY rest stop along the 5 freeway(mission accomplished!) As you can guess, the food offerings at i-5 rest stops kinda suck, so when we got to Shasta we wanted something good. Two LeBaconators and four hot chocolates later, we were two happy campers back on the road! I am driving back this summer JUST for another baconator. Seriously.

We were in town for a few days to go skiing, and we came here one morning for breakfast. I got a latte and the basics breakfast bagel, and my girlfriend got the baconator bagel. The coffee was great, and both the coffee and food were served up quickly. My sandwich was good, although I wish it had held together better. My girlfriend was disappointed that a sandwich named the baconator didn’t have more bacon on it. Nonetheless, I would come back here.

Andy, the owner, is seriously the best. He’s so friendly, funny, and personable. It seems he’s always in a good mood which makes coming into the place quite a fun and entertaining experience. Their shasta wrap is delicious, and I’m also a fan of their jalapeño bagels. The ambience is perfect and there’s always great music playing.

This is by far one of the best cafes I have ever been too. And yes I have been to many cafes, but only recently decided to start Unilocaling businesses. This place is definitely a diamond in mt Shasta. The environment and setting is great, the drinks are high quality, and the food is amazing especially for people who are conscious about what they put in their bodies. I came here with my now wife and her parents for lunch. We had ordered two kitchen sink salads, two Sierra turkeys paninis, and 4 chais and dined in. The food and drinks were amazing. There was such great quality and flavor in our orders, and the staff was so friendly. I haven’t been back in a while but I plan to return soon. This is definitely a place to stop in shasta. 5 stars!

Pleasantly delicious but not overwhelmingly awesome. Had the bacon/asiago panini and was really blown away by the rich flavor. The texture was a bit off to me, I don’t like the mushy bread but I’m flexible but the taste was that good. Coffee was ok, not thrilling. I really liked the variety at this shop, really fun to try some different tastes. The art was also very inviting to me, lots of creativity flowing. And killer views of the nearby mountains. Staff was busy, not able to engage in much chit chat– bummer Overall, well done. If the coffee was more crafty and the seating more cozy I’d be hooked forever.

Stopped here in our way down to San Fransisco from WA. Usually I won’t give a coffee shop 5 stars unless there is a fire place/pit. But even without one, this place makes up for it with amazing food, and customer service. Came in for coffee, left with one of the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had in my life.

This place is incredible. Outstanding lattes and fantastic food. I have stopped here several times while traveling the I-5 corridor and it has become a regular breakfast and lunch stop that I look forward to. The owner and his crew are friendly and skilled in their craft, with stellar customer service. They have the best coffee shop/bakery product and service between Ashland and SF. I’ve enjoyed their lattes, muffins, the Denver Burrito and the Turkey Asiago Panini sandwich. Everything is reasonably priced and worth it. Both the burrito and sandwich were some of the best restaurant food I’ve had in a while. Environment is a cool blend of hipster and mountain-casual with a flair of retro, located in a great space for community and camaraderie. There are few road trip stops as awesome and worthwhile as Wassayaks.

We came for a weekend away from Sacramento. The reviews lived up to the hype for the food. We had their vegetarian Panini’s. They did not offer as many vegetarian options as I expected, just one pretty simple cheers and tomato? But it was good. The restaurant is nestled among the eclectic shops that seem to all sell crystals and spiritual items. Their was a very unique clientele that seemed to collect at the restaurant Although the food was good, the«interesting» people added something oddly unexpected to the environment.

Got the Sunnyside burrito and while delicious, I could not finish it due to the extreme richness and cheesiness. Order knowing it is not your typical breakfast rito. Friends got the wraps which were fresh and tasty. Wish I had gotten to try more items!

Omg!!! So good! We actually wandered over due to a recommendation from the lady at Soul Connections :) the furniture is fun and mismatched and the music gives it a happy and energizing vibe! You can tell the staff really like working here from the way they interact with us and each other I had the butter toffee latte and I fell in love with the mild sweet taste immediately. I also ordered Le Baconator which was one of the best breakfast sammies ever! The bagel was toasted and crunchy and it had a spicy chipotle mayo over the fluffy eggs, hashed potatoes, minced bacon, and cheese! Yum!

Stopped in on our way out of a quick stop in Mount Shasta. The 5 star reviews and breakfast bagel sandwiches made the decision for us. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming giving us a rundown of their specialties and the customer favorites. My mom and I both got the le baconator sandwich, one on an everything bagel and one on a jalapeño cheese bagel and both were delicious. I got a chai which he recommended and it was also excellent. Also super cute colorful interior environment(and good music) makes you want to sit back and stay awhile! Recommend making a stop here!

Shasta Veggie breakfast burrito works style, large Cold brew, Green thing smoothie add blueberries. Breakfast of champions. Andy is always so happy, and the food is always fast. I love that the beans are roasted fresh, the freshest in the state of Jefferson! This is the check in place for all who come into, and leave the sacred mountain. To swap stories, share laughs and tasty drinks, and to nourish the body and souls for the next adventure.

A great place to grab a cup of coffee and stay a while. Everybody here was so friendly and made me feel at home. I had the yummiest veggie burrito ever! I sat here for about an hour or two, had a Mexican mocha and read my book. Later that day I popped in for another mocha and was recommended to try it with hemp milk and OMG it was so good. Wish this place was closer to home but I have a feeling it wouldn’t be the same in LA. Thank you for being so nice.

I was recently in Mt. Shasta City to climb the mountain. I stopped by Wassayaks on the day before the climb, and was greeted by Andrew, a super-friendly guy behind the counter. He and his crew made me a delicious breakfast bagel, and made great conversation. He let me stay and hang out after their official closing time to make me feel welcome and not rushed out the door. Based on that good first experience, I made sure to come back to the shop after I summitted the mountain. Andrew was there again, and very graciously congratulated me on the climb. On this second visit I had a great breakfast burrito and a mango smoothie that was also super-tasty. Just what I needed after days camping on the snow and climbing. Wassayaks is worth a trip — definitely stop there if you’re in town!

If you’re in the area, definitely check this place out. The Le Baconator is the best breakfast sandwich ever when made with jalapeño cheddar bagel. I had a few of the pastries to go and they were great too. It’s worth a quick stop to get a bite and drink.

WARNING!!! Addictive drinks and bites lay in wait at this recently renovated coffee shop. THECOFFEE: Not very often do you find competent baristas sharing thier love for the art of coffee in small towns let alone bigger cities. Just had one of the best cappuccinos for sometime. The art in my cup revealed skill with pulling and texturing milk… good job you guys THEFOOD: While a little wary of the funky stuff one can find in coffee shop cafes, this was a great treat. From bagels to pastries to salads and grilled paninis. Somone obviously cares about the culinary arts as much as the coffee. SERVICE: Even the most negative, butthead of a customer will leave with a smile after meeting Andy and his crew. Unless of course your just Beelzebub in the flesh…:) Summary: If there was ever a café i would recommend Wassyaks has my vote.
