Since my first review I’ve had the opportunity to make a few more visits and try many more of the tasty creations from this quaint little place. Every single thing I’ve tried I’ve completely fallen in love with. Cakes, croissants, ham and biscuit, cookies and so much more I am sure that once you try Spoonful you’ll be coming back for more. They continue to offer lots of unique and mouth watering menu items and now they have expanded the days they are open. Give this place a try. Your taste buds will thank you.

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Lexington, KY
If there is a bakery better than this place in the state of Kentucky some one please explain why I’m wasting my time writing this review. I should be there smacking on some high calorie goodness. In today’s world it seems that convenience has desensitized our patients. We want everything and we want it now. Finally there’s a place that completely ignores what today’s world want.(at least most of the world) everything in this place is homemade. Croissants, Danishes, cinnamon rolls etc. not only are they homemade even the box presentation is world class. I will start with the cinnamon rolls only because I started with the cinnamon rolls. I made the biggest mistake of my professional career by purchasing my box of cinnamon rolls a full hour before my guess arrived. When I took my first bite I knew that only an act by God would make the other 5 last until my visitors pulled up. Luckily they came early. Back to the rolls. I can’t recall if I have ever had freshly ground cinnamon but I know my cinnamon at my house doesn’t taste nearly this good. I think he bakes the rolls in muffin pans due the cup cake look of the rolls. Personally I wouldn’t care if he bake them in a rusty hubcap they would still taste amazing. I’m not a baker but I heard rumors that croissant dough is the hardest to master. If this is the case this guy is Yoda sitting in kitchen meditating to Italian violinist. No joke his croissants rival some of the ones I had in Europe. Imagine the best chicken salad you’ve ever had on the best croissant you’ve ever had. Basically this place can complete and win with some of those powerhouse places in Lexington.
