A & C Automotive has always given us exceptional service at very reasonable rates. They have always been very reasonable, timely and personable. We have been going here for over 7 years and will continue to do so. We were some of Alan’s first costumers. Over the years he has worked on our Toyota, Honda, Jeep, Mini and we’re about to bring him in our new Volkswagen. We are very happy with this shop and would highly recommend to others… but not too many others:) as we want him to be available in the event that a car issue comes up:)

This place is a SCAM and will be reported to the better business bureaus! They did more damage to my vehicle and had me drive off with it charging me over $ 1000 to supposedely fix this problem. My vehicle drove making this horrible sound which was never there before, and they never bolted my center consol back down. It was loose shaking all about! when I told them they said come back in, on the drive back my car overheated damaging the water pump and supposedly blowing the head gaskets. I had to get it towed to A&C Automotive where they informed me I had to pay to get all of this fixed AGAIN! My family has given this automotive place thousands of dollars to fix our cars. I thought if I went to them I would be safe but I was wrong. The icing on the cake is I never told them to start fixing my vehicle after their first quote, I told them I was going somewhere else. I sent a tow truck to get my vehicle and they said they couldn’t release because I owed them for the water pump. They did the work anyway even though I said don’t do it! I paid another $ 500 to get my vehicle out and to a reputable company, where they then told me A&C automotive never even replaced my water pump!!! I’m letting everyone know and they will be reported. Alan is a low down dirty man do not bring your business here!

These guys do great work here and the rates are amazing. They are everything you could ask for in a mechanic; straightforward, thorough and inexpensive…
Definitely the only place in Skagit I will trust with my car.
