Encore Shoppe

Not only does half my closet almost consist of the clothes i buy here, but i can look at them without feeling guilty. Don’t let the displays of the sometime weird looking coat in their windows make you walk by because inside are fashion designer labels, shoes, purses galore, and the occasional non-​stained prom dress. this little store has unique finds that suit any woman ages 10 – 100! whenever i go here i always buy something that no one else at my school owns! i could spend hours in the little shoppe grabbing 100’s of items of the many racks found in this diverse consignment store, and i am your average picky teenager obsessed with fashion. one last thing… it is not expensive clothing that you just push aside, this is the real stuff people because i know what i am talking about :)

I love this place. I have never purchased anything here, but it’s a great place to consign. I think they offer some of the best return on consignment in the state!
I originally found the Encore Shoppe when I was working retail in college and constantly needed to clean out my closet to make room for new clothes (isn’t college hard?!). At the time I was living in Bellingham and working in Burlington, so the location was very convenient.
Even though I now live in Seattle, I still make the drive up to Mt Vernon few times a year to drop things off. The Encore Shoppe’s owner is fantastic! She is so friendly and is usually running things at the store. Even though I only make a visit in occasionally (due to the drive), she always remembers me and thanks me for coming so far. She’s even held extras of my clothes (that weren’t in season yet), which it against her store policy, so that I didn’t have to drive up as often.
I am really grateful for all the awesome service I received at this place and am even more grateful when my check comes in the mail a few months later! This place rocks.
