Liquor Rush

I must say that this wasn’t the typical Mount Vernon experience I’m used to. I walked in looking for a simple Malbec and walked out with Sangria, Bacardi Rum, Patron Silver, Champagne, and a Thai Rum called Phraya, apparently a very limited type of rum available in the metropolitan area. Not to mention, an educational crash course in the differences of all sorts of liquors from tequila to cognac.
When you get there make sure you ask for Rob. This guy seemed to remember the preferences of almost every patron, in advance. He was also a bit of a storyteller about the different brands.
The holiday décor overshadows the common bulletproof glass usually found in urban liquor stores, not to mention, this place was immaculate so either there is some serious OCD here or they have an amazing cleaning services.
I also thought it was interesting that they give out a twizzler with every purchase. When I asked about it, they said it’s just some «liquor-​ice» from Liquor Rush… very clever.
This place may be in a different county from mine but the service and competitive pricing makes all the difference.
