Not to busy of a place and waitress doesn’t make rounds to often, mashed potatoes tasted funny, and sweet tea tasted a day or two old and is not sweet. It’s a topical buffet and the Sunday after Thanksgiving that may have something to do with it. The bathrooms were disgusting, no locks on the doors, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned all day. Walking out of the bathroom, the carpeted area around the dessert section made me want to throw up, it was gross. My daughter said the rice was hard but spaghetti was good. My dad and my husband said their food was good.

Great steak, especially considering its from a buffet. Fresh cooked pork chops now too. I love getting to park at the truck stop here! Lots of dinner options.

Just like another reviewer stated, it’s another middle America buffet. Nothing special. Also a bit overpriced. Being near the holidays my husband having a kind heart, tipped $ 5. Bless his heart… Our waitress & the hostess were very pleasant. There was another gal there, could of been the manager(?) she should read the book, How to make friends & influence people. If she is going to confront employees about the quality of their work, she needs to close the door&/or have a short meeting after they close not in ear shot of customers. FYI-TA’s have a better buffet. Ok that’s all I have for this one.

Was here about a year ago with my mother… ahh, to me these places all generally kinda suck… let’s face it, the quality just isn’t there… to me, its stomach filler… only would recommend in emergency situations… big offerings, but what’s the point.

When it comes to buffets it can be risky because some are good and some are well let’s say places some folks go to slowly kill themselves. There were a couple of customers in Ryan’s this particular visit that sadly should not have been as I’m guessing they knew every buffet with in a 50 mile radius but their being present did have a benefit in making me to behave and not to stuff myself with saturated fats and carbs. Though I’m not a fan of the veggie election it looked like Ryan’s did very well by the display as for the SF&C displays they did OK. I had 2 baked chicken things(there were no wings in both baked and fried bins which I’m wondering was God watching over me?), some corn and noodles. The noodles were actually quite good but being a carb and me being such a health conscious eater(if my bride was here she be saying liar, liar pants on fire) I only had two servings but could have gone for a full plate or two, maybe three. They have a feature called mongolian grill which I did not partake but did try one of their steaks and as expected the cow that gave his life was a cow who was a couple of grades above a peer who went to a shoe manufacturer and the Ryan’s griller knew how to use tenderizer well. The deserts looked yum yum for the tum tum and though there was some chocolate cake that I could easily have consumed enough to pay for my blood pump repair guys next European vacation but I did not give in to the temptation and instead went with two sugarless chocolate chip cookies and some jello, though not cake I was happy. The going out the door on Ryan’s, I have had better buffets but I have much worse and if a consensus of a group that I’m with in the future chose Ryan’s again I be OK with it, but not yippee but if nobody was looking I go on my own too but not a lot
