Vistas at RedTail Mountain

An absolutely beautiful property with breathtaking views. Our room was comfortable and well equipped. We appreciated the refrigerator and bar area with barstools. Our friends stayed next door in a two bedroom suite which was awesome. We enjoyed spending time on the comfortable sectional sofa by the fireplace with large windows to take in the beautiful surroundings.

Get there early, it fills up fast. I had chicken wings and they were very good. The bartender came out and talked to us about dessert drinks and ended up making us a chocolate espresso martini. It was so delicious! I also had a salad which had a very fresh, good mix of greens and a homemade balsamic dressing. Dinner was salmon — simple yet tasty. It was cooked perfectly; a very delightful meal.
The outside dining looks amazing, the views are tremendous. It is worth a trip to Mountain City to try it out. The golf course and country club is currently putting in an in-​ground pool and tennis courts — it’s going to be great! The course is very nice and a favorite in the Tri-​Cities. Come check it out!
Vistas is open for Sunday Brunch from 11am-2:30pm, Lunch daily from 11am-​4pm, and Dinner on Thursday’s, Friday’s, and Saturday’s from 5:30−9pm.

The golf course restaurant is trying very hard to be a five-​star restaurant, but it falls short in my opinion. The good was good, not great, and a little overpriced. However, the view on the patio simply cannot be beat. Pleasant service.
