This area is pretty much devoid of culture in many ways, but not true with the public library. The Donald W. Reynolds Library stands out as a diamond in the rough. It’s a beautiful building and its collection of materials is ever-growing. Try the Blackbird Café, too!

I’ll admit I haven’t been to a lot of public libraries. I can’t imagine what more you could wish for though, except for more books(an using inter-library loan or a book request you could still find what you wish for). This is a multi-million dollar library was built through donations. It’s gorgeous. It looks like a museum. There’s a coffee shop/café, a meeting room, genealogy room, public computers, free wifi, reading nook with a fireplace or outdoor terrace, huge teen and children’s library, and numerous programs for all ages. The staff and volunteers are also friendly and helpful.
