This is the real deal place to meet new people and enjoy a fun spirited atmosphere without any drama. Them owner Augie & son Chase are really two of the nicest people you ever want to meet. The drive was worth the end result for customer service and friendly atmosphere is rear now a days…

Omg. I cannot say enough good things about the food!!! I had the tri tip sandwich. The meat was so flavorful and I swear it melted in your mouth. The atmosphere was incredible and the people were so friendly. The cook/owner, Leadfather, is the sweetest man on earth. Seriously. You need to go check it out.

It’s a fun ride up there from Vegas with a lot of bikes parked in the front. Walking up, there was a band singing GN’R sweet child o’ mine. Everyone was hanging out enjoying the scene, the song, the people and the weather. There’s a kitchen towards the back, cash only. But not to worry bc there’s an ATM machine. A real cool place to see and be… in the bar, dollar bills all over the walls and ceiling with people’s inscriptions on them. Bathroom was a bit… vintage. The eats are grubby. Burgers, brats, ribs and sandwiches all made to your order. Will have to roll up there again for sure.

I never knew this was here. On our way back from Mammoth, we got stuck because an accident rendered 160 closed for hours, so we hung out here. The beers are so cheap and the people are super friendly. My fiancé said it’s a biker bar and in the summer they do bbq and pig roasts. I can’t wait to go back and check it out.

Awesome place especially starting in March every second Friday is bike night and the food is made special and free to everybody who shows up. Always a band and fun fun fun. Sit on the big porch, inside at the bar or picnic tables outside. Just a great fun getaway place and 10 degrees cooler than Vegas. People are super friendly and you always meet new people. Fantastic music on the juke box when the band isn’t playing and dancing around the bar. Drinks are super reasonable too.

Stopped by after day trip to Death Valley. Had a great smoked pulled pork sandwich with beans side. Nice people working there and everyone there was friendly. Definitely worth the stop. We’ll be back. Dog friendly also.

You dont have to ride a Harley to love this place. Great place to go for a cold one after visiting Red Rock Canyon and Spring Mountains. Fun mix of locals, tourists, and clubs when warmer. Pig roasts are epic? And always room for more tops on the ceiling… Lots cooler up there too.

One of those Old Time Wild West Biker Bars(OTWWBB™) with dollar bills stapled on the walls and bras hanging on the ceiling — you know the kind! That being said, it doesn’t feel like a tourist trap; this is an actual stopover for real-life bikers on the Vegas-Pahrump brothel run. The place is actually legit! Astonishingly only 15 minutes from southwest Vegas, the temperature(and the ambiance) up here is about 20 degrees cooler — it’s located in a pine forest at the top of the Spring Mts, right at the side of the highway. So it’s a great getaway in the summer — they roast pigs and whatnot on the patio, and you can party all night, then stumble to your campsite in the forest up the road. In the winter, they fire up the cozy stone fireplace, and it’s a great place to stop for coffee & whiskey. I can’t speak to the food, as I haven’t eaten here yet… but on my last visit I saw people eating burgers and fries and stuff like that, and it looked pretty standard. I’m sure I’ll end up noshing here at some point, as I will definitely be back many times on my way to and from my various adventures :-)

Desert Oasis About 45 minutes from Las Vegas, this little throwback to the outlaw times is an interesting place to stop and have cold beer after a nice drive or hike in Red Rock Canyon National Preserve. Don’t let the biker presence intimidate you, just mind your own business and you’ll be OK. Many of them are bike loving German tourists anyway! If you feel like having a burger or something off the grill, take your drink and walk to the back side order your food and enjoy a relaxing few moments away from the busy city life.

We love riding the bike to go here!!! We love seeing all the bikes that are always there(new and classic). Its always way cooler, of course and a nice little getaway for a few hours. They have good food in the back, heard some good bands there, too. Drinks are great, cold and reasonable. Another favorite bike stop for us!!!

very nice hang out spot. Not dirty or divey, good clean fun, cold beer, nice country tunes. Lots of parking. ALERT: there is little advance warning that you are approaching. By the time you spot the sign, it will be quick braking and a hard right, if coming from Vegas.

What can I say? It’s a fun ride through red rock to get here, it always has cooler temps then the valley and it’s totally legit. Good prices. Good people. Horseshoes and a killer shack in the back always cookin up some great grub. Escape the city and chill here all day.

I gave the Mt. Spring Saloon 5 stars because it’s a real biker’s bar. That means it’s not a place for most visitors. The drinks are strong and inexpensive. Girls panties and bras are tacked onto the ceiling and the traditional one dollar bill is tacked everywhere. Our bartender was very friendly and helpful. Told us about«My Vegas» web site and how to get free credits for all the Vegas hotels. Good food and sometimes live music in a laid back, anything goes kind of place makes this a relaxing stop when riding or hiking around the Red Rock Canyon area. Be careful when leaving at night, if you go fast up the hill, which everyone does, the down side is pitch black and the road curves and it’s hard to stay on the road without street lights. Locals call the road«Widow Maker».

Had a great time here over the weekend. Great biker bar with plenty of beer and great bloodies. We also had a couple cheeseburgers. The wait for food was about 30 mins. I wasn’t to happy about he wait. But when the food came I quickly changed my mind and thought it was worth the wait!

Been here a hand full of times over the years. Used to work at Potosi Boy Scout Camp up the road, and we would attempt to sneak off to the saloon, but that’s another story. I haven’t actually gone out of my way to come here, it’s usually a stop in after a hike in the area. Good times are always had. The bar is full of bikers, who usually heckle us, or offer us rides in their bikes, we politely decline, but it’s a nice gesture. My favorite thing about this place is the wood burning fireplace. Since Vegas doesn’t allow wood burning fireplaces, this is pretty much the only place I can get my fix. I love the smell of a real fireplace. There is a few video poker machines, pool table, shuffle board, outside you can play horse shoes or browse the small store next door for some jewelry or similar items. Stop and grab a pulled pork sandwich from Angel & Willy’s, one if the best ones I’ve had(and I’m not usually a BBQ fan, or pork for that matter). Tons of outside chairs and tables to sit around and shoot the sh*t. I wouldn’t recommend mixed drinks, I ordered a G&T, and saw him pull out some no named bottle shelf gin, I politely passed and grabbed a Stella. The beer is served ice cold. Last Saturday of the month they have a Pig Roast, but call before coming, he closes up shop when he runs out of food.

Great place to come and enjoy a biker bar, even if you don’t ride! Super customer service and the patrons & staff are welcoming. We were asked to come back tomorrow to enjoy their band and BBQ. We’re in!!! Just outside of Sin City, tucked away in a mountain setting, this place makes Vegas even more enjoyable. We can’t wait to bring our friends.

New here to las vegas. Heard about this place at the Harley davidson red rock. Decided to drive through blue diamond and of to this place. Beer is cold, is about 20 degrees cooler than las vegas. People were nice and friendly. I’ll definitely stay coming here more often.

I’m sorry but I totally love this place! When it’s 100 and stoopid in the valley I go up here to chill out… literally! It’s always about 30 degrees cooler on the mountain-top, but a place to relax and have a brew while watching the not-so-heavy sunset in the middle of summer? BIGBONUS! The food is ok, but the people are just out of control!!! I wrote a rule in «the book» proud of #45 woot woot!!!

We live in Mountain Springs and this is a great place to hang out and grab a bite to eat. Mr. T used to do the monthly BBQ’s and still does them on the last Saturday of the month…$ 10 for a plate w/2 sides, a drink and a raffle ticket(raffle at 5pm). But now Mr. T runs the kitchen Weds. through Monday. If you’re coming up late to eat, you might wanna call. When he runs out of food, he leaves. The other reviews are pretty accurate. Don’t let the bikers scare you. It seems like they just come up for ‘the ride’. It’s pretty fun on the weekends and the last Saturday BBQ. And yes, it’s cooler up here. BTW, the photo below of the puppy in the parking lot, someone found her and brought her in and we kept her. Named her Natasha and is a wonderful addition to our family. Not a bad place to stop in the winter either.

We came here after our hike at Lovell Canyon. Although we were a bit intimidated by all of the motorcycles in the parking lot, my urgent need for a restroom trumped our fear. The bar area is exactly what one would expect for a biker bar in the middle of the desert – dark and festooned with bras and dollar bills. My friends sat at the table while I used the facilities. After we got back, one of the bar patrons pointed out that they don’t serve food in the bar but in the small building around the back. We walked out to building, placed our order at the window and sat in the shade next to the koi pond. Our food came out in a couple of minutes and DH and I tucked into two of the most delicious pork barbeque sandwiches we have ever had. The meat was fresh and juicy, the sauce pleasantly piquant and spicy. My macaroni salad also tasted home made. Our friends got the chicken tacos, which they said were also fresh and served with tangy salsa. The atmosphere was mellow and everyone was either pleasant or indifferent to us. We were there on a Sunday afternoon, so it wasn’t terribly crowded either. I am glad we found it when we needed it and we home to get back there someday.

I love bars that are a bit out of the way. The kind of places you really have to hunt down to find. You’ll find this little out of the way place on top of the«Hump to Pahrump» in the little community of Mountain Springs. Because it sits at an elevation of about 5500 feet it’s always a bit cooler than down in the valley. So it’s a nice place to go to escape the heat and get out of the valley for awhile. They have a couple of pool tables and a juke box. Weekend it’s usually packed with bikers. Often they’ll have a live band. If your looking for a out of the way place to have a drink this is it.

This Place is awesome and very unlike Vegas or anything surrounding. On just one visit, I met a couple from Goodsprings that Jeeped it over on dirt roads, a few bikers and some germans on Harleys. They honor the gaming/drinking agreement, and the place isn’t gross. It is tightly nestled in a small alcove just over the top of «The Hump.» You will not accidentally stumble upon this place, and even if you are looking for it, you may just pass it up. It’s a non descript biker bar that regularly sees snow when the valley sees rain. It is definitely a regular’s bar, with the occasional tourist. The food is what you would expect from a BBQ Truck out back, and while it isn’t anything to freak out about, it’s not bad, either. It really is the only game in town when it comes to facilities open to the public in Mountain Springs. Not such a bad place to get lost. And a GREAT drive back to Vegas.

I can’t comment on the food, but if you’re looking for a cold one and some good times on your way out(or back from) a desert adventure, I would highly recommend stopping here. We stopped here on our way back from spending some time in the middle of the desert. We wanted beer and a place to pee. The parking lot full of Harleys suggested that we may not be the typical customer, but we didn’t let that stop us. Inside, the bar is covered in dollar bills and bras. Their liquor and draft selection isn’t deep, but they have a pretty wide selection of bottled beers. The bartender was friendly and efficient. After grabbing our beers, we decided to scout the joint. There are several picnic tables, horseshoes, cornhole, and then a backroom with foosball, shuffleboard and a popcorn machine. I wasn’t brave enough to eat the popcorn, but I saw some of the patrons go for it. Plus, the entire experience was accompanied by solid classic rock tunes. As we walked in, Twilight Zone by Golden Earring was playing, and I had to nod my head and do a little classic strut. On the weekends, they occasionally host a BBQ. The gift shop is for rent for any enterprising spirit out there — $ 600/month. A biker man took a liking to our Jeep and bought my husband a beer, but that’s another story. All in all a classic desert dive.

Great place to get away from the heat on a bike. 2 weeks ago a group of us called to make sure we could get lunch. We arrived to find the grill closed. The Bartender saisd we should have asked her when we called. Today a group of 15 rode up after making sure the grill was open. The food sucks. Dried out Burger w/cheese for $ 8 It took 45 minutes to get it. Will definitley stop somewhere to eat first before returning.

I have always loved motorcycles but until I started dating a guy with a bike and eventually bought my own, I never came up to Mountain Springs. Definitely a great place, especially during the summer months to get away from the heat. Rode up there yesterday and they had a live band, pig roast and I am glad to see they have changed the volleyball court into a horseshoe. I think they will get more people playing. They also have more food out in the back and a little motorcycle clothing store in the back. I have had some of the food over the years and its always been good. Plus if you just need a little snack, popcorn is always ready for you. The bar area is pretty small but most of us go outside and sit so that doesn’t bother me at all. I think more people should come up to the bar. You don’t need a bike to come on by! There are so many new places I have found because of my motorcycle but will take people up in just our cars. The atmosphere is always relaxing and we always see people we know up on the hill. Again its a great way to just get out of Vegas and enjoy some music, beer, and cooler temps.
