I ordered personalized hershey kisses and after taking my money, I received an email that I needed to pay another $ 18.00 to ENSURE that they didn’t arrive melted. Can you imagine.
I have ordered chocolates before, and i have not been held hostage. Talk about bait and switch.
I plan to pursue further legal action, let me know if anyone else is interested.

Several weeks ago, I ordered personalized honey jars from the beau coup website to be given out at my bridal shower, which is tomorrow, April 19^th. I was originally given an estimated delivery date of April 7^th. When I hadn’t received them by Wednesday, April 15^th, I looked up the order number on their website and saw that it wasn’t even given a tracking number. I called customer service. They called me back several hours later, and although they provided me with no explanation as to what happened, they assured me that the favors would arrive on Saturday the 18^th. I asked if they were 1000% sure, because my shower is on the 19^th, and they said yes. Well, it’s Saturday night and they never arrived. Now my bridal shower is tomorrow morning and I am without favors. I had better get my money back, but even still, that isn’t the point. The point is I now have no favors for my bridal shower, and no time to get them from anywhere else!!! I wish I had read some of these other reviews before ordering from this site, because it looks like this isn’t the first time this has happened. Do not order from this site.

Before I odered the shot glasses in mid February for my sister’s baby shower for the 15^th of march, I called to make sure they will arrive in time. I was reassured they will arrive no later than March 13^th. We are now at March 11^th, 4 phone calls later, no tracking number and it says on their website the order is processing. I spoke to some woman Jade, patricia, mark and a few others who all said they are contacting the manufacturers and will call me back. Well guys… it seems like I’m doing all the calling. Of course I blame them because I called before I placed the order and was told BS. But you know who I mostly blame, myself… why because my sister’s, sister… (yea family problems) said we should order favor shot glasses from this website, I wasn’t sure but I figured, let her have this because we were doing all my other ideas. Guess what, the one thing she had a hand in… is all screwed up. We are 4 days away from the shower and no favors. The kicker, I PAID FOR THEM!!! So… if I don’t here anything from them by this afternoon. I’m asking for a refund and of course I will figure out a last minute favor, which sucks to holy heaven because they were personalized. But hey they might arrive and then my review will change. Until then. Beau coup you freaking suck!!!

I placed on online order for baptism favors more than one month earlier then the date I needed it. The first item (custom ribbons) came in one week, so far so good. The other item (custom coins) were late for the production-​time; I contacted the customer care asking if everything was ok, (actually twice) and they said that the coins were ok and they also gave me a shipment date. When the date came (now I’m 10 days from the baptism) I called again and the said that the order is «somehow misplaced»… they told me that they can rush the order with no additional costs (…sounds pretty fair to me, I mean, it wasn’t my mistake) so I can have my coins in one week… the next day they tell me that, because of all the rush orders due to Christmas time, they can not rush my order and I can’t have it on time. Seriously!!! At one week from the baptism?! And my order was place 5 weeks in advanced?!! I Cancelled my order and I order from another company. So so so disappointed!

I ordered the porcelain snowflakes as party favors with a personalized tag for a Christmas event. The ornaments arrived today and they are gorgeous! Heavy, clean, well made. Two issues… some are packaged in a box and others are loose so be careful dumping out the peanuts as you may end up tossing ornaments, too. Biggest complaint is that the ornaments do not come with the personalized tags already attached. So now I have to untie 40 teeny weeny ribbon knots, slip out the «thank you» tag the company attached, punch teeny weeny holes into the teeny weeny labels they sent separately, and then tie teeny weeny knots on those teeny weeny ribbons. Forty times. My event is two weeks away so I think I have time to do this, but be aware. If this were a Christmas wedding with 100+ guests, I may have pitched a fit. Beautiful ornaments, assembly definitely required!

Received a bad quality product, but the customer service addressed it. Nonetheless, be warned that the reviews of products on their site are censored from negative reviews.
We ordered custom fortune cookies from them for birth announcements, and one batch had many issues that required discarding 15% of them by visual inspection. Weeks later when the announcements were sent, we started getting calls from friends saying that their fortunes were blank.
Customer service was responsive in addressing this and giving me a refund, but I left an honest review of the product on their website, and it’s vanished. The product still shows as 4.5 stars, 100% of purchasers would recommend buying.
Prices and customer service are good, and maybe this was just a fluke in quality control… but definitely don’t rely on the product reviews on their site.

Outrageous shipping charges!
Spent half an hour creating a sheet of personalized labels. The total was $ 9.75 and the shipping charge was $ 8.95 for standard shipping. I contacted customer service because I thought surely it was a mistake. Nope — that’s their rate. They must be making money off shipping charges because it cannot cost that much to ship a sheet of paper. I did not place the order.
Two stars only because they have nice products.

I ordered a set of wine glasses as a gift for a friend’s wedding. When I received the gift from beau-​coup the packaging was disgusting. The styrofoam that was inside the manufacturer’s box was black with dirt, yellowed from age and chipped and banged up. It looked like it had been sitting in their warehouse for years. When I called to complain about it, they asked me to send pics of the damage and said they would send me new packaging so I could wrap the gift. 2 days before the event I got a call and was told I would not be receiving new packaging, that the packaging sent was not meant to be wrapped in a gift box. ??? This is the styrofoam packaging inside the gift box that protects the glasses from breaking. It’s part of the gift set. So 2 days before the wedding I was stuck trying to figure out how to wrap the glasses without breaking them, and had to spend extra money on the internal wrapping supplies. I was told they would give me 10% off, $ 5, but I spent another $ 10 — $ 12 on the supplies. And it took them over a week to credit my account. Never Again!!!

Terrible service!!! I ordered freeze dried rose petals among many other items for my wedding on August 4. The petals never arrived. All Beau Coup could say was that UPS had shown that the petals had been delivered, there was nothing else they could do. Amazon would have either credited my account or re-​send the item!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! Now I’m 48 hour from my wedding and have to go out and search for rose petals!!! UGH

On May 12, I ordered some favors and a bunch of paper lanterns (in 6 colors) from Beau-​Coup for our wedding party. The favors were shipped right away and are very cute — no problem. However, they were out of the mint and gray colored paper lanterns and said they couldn’t ship any of the lanterns at all until they came in on June 24, 6 weeks later. The week of June 24^th I waited for a shipping confirmation, and when I didn’t hear anything all week I finally emailed them on Friday. The representative said that the mint and gray were indeed now available but that now pink was back-​ordered and they couldn’t ship until the pink ones came in. Wait, what? They didn’t set aside the rest of my order until the back-​ordered ones arrived? Anticipating that this could go on forever, the lanterns never shipping as they waited for the next sold-​out color, then the next, for all eternity, I asked to have all but the pink sent right away. The representative said I would need to pay extra shipping for that, with no apology. I cancelled the pink ones and asked for the rest to be sent. I got the shipping confirmation today, 4 days later. The representative was very prompt and friendly in her communications, but very unhelpful with getting my problem solved.
If you need anything by a certain date, or need anything specific, do not order from this company. If you just want to order something that may or may not ever arrive, go for it.
Also, they don’t say it on their website, but they don’t ship to PO boxes.

Update: after reading my Unilocal review, the representative gave me a refund of 20% on my whole order, which was nice, although I am little uncomfortable with the «squeaky wheel gets the grease» model of customer service — nothing was done until I posted this. I really hope the company takes my feedback into consideration since a change in policy is badly needed.

I totally forgot about the favors I was planning for my husbands b’day, and placed an order with these guys in the last minute. I read the reviews later and was worried I made a bad decision and began calling them incessantly when my order tracking would not refresh or show any details about the shipment.
They were pretty patient and helpful and the order actually arrived right on time. Just that there were no tracking info until it reached me. The shipping prices were much lesser than their competitor favor-​warehouse too. I will order from them again.

We ordered an engraved wine box nearly two months before the wedding. Several weeks later, having not received anything, I checked the order tracking. It turns out, UPS had returned it to them. I’m not sure why, all of the information I provided was correct. Despite having received it back at their warehouse, they hadn’t contacted me in any way, shape or form.
I contacted them to find out what had happened. The informed me they MIGHT be able to ship it again at an extra charge. I informed them that I did not find that acceptable and they then failed to respond to my further emails.
Now I’m not sure what went wrong with UPS and it probably is not their fault. But what is their fault is the abhorrent customer service I received. Now we’re stuck a week and a half before the wedding trying to figure something out.
Don’t shop here if you’re counting on actually receiving the product you order.

Update, after posting this review, they reached out to me and offered to re-​send the box to me free of charge. I had already ordered a replacement, so they refunded the full price, including shipping.

I am only writing because i referred a friend to beaucoup and my friend found this link and sent it to me questioning my recommendation. i was floored. i had just purchased these mini white gumball machines and the most adorable personalized photo tag to go with them for my daughter’s first birthday and they were the hit of the party. they all arrived on time in great condition.
i actually felt a little bad after reading these negative reviews because it really goes to show that most people only post when they’re angry…

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE! I ordered 50 mini gumball slot machines for my wedding in September from this website:
and personalized stickers from another website to attach to these favors. When I received the favors, I began to remove the plastic wrap and place the stickers on the favors. I ran into 3 cracked favors and continued to place the stickers on the favors. I was almost done when I decided to taste a gumball from one of the favors that was damaged. OMG I almost broke a tooth! The wrapping showed an expiration date of September 2013, and it was only April and it was rock hard. when I called to get them replaced (and lets not forget that I just wasted 50 personalized stickers), they said that there was nothing they could do since I had placed a sticker on them. I wasn’t looking for a free-​bee I was only looking for what is fair. The representative I spoke to, said that since I put a sticker on them that they couldn’t take them back and resell them. HELLO, the gum is expired why would you resell this to someone else. When I explained that to her, her response was «you should have ordered the favors closer to your wedding date». Really? Is that the best you can do?

My wife bought a pocket knife with our first daughters birthdy engraved on it. This is the worst excuse for a knife I have ever seen. I would carry it in my pocket with my car keys and every day another screw is out and I find it in my pocket. So after the scews are lost on the belt clip, I find one to hold the flash light in. great well today I pull it out and it falls apart in my hand. The bolt that holds the blade on just came undone. I hope no one ever orders a knife from this place EVER.

I ordered personalized chocolate coins for my June 16^th wedding. One week before the wedding I called Beau-​Coup to ensure the the chocolates would arrive before the 16^th. I was assured by the customer service rep. that the chocolates would arrive by the 14^th of June and there was no need to put a rush on the order. On the 14^th of June I contacted Beau coup because my order had not been shipped. I was then told that the order would arrive on Friday the 15^th. Again, the order was not shipped. I continued to contact Beau-​Coup multiple times asking for a return call regarding my order. I never received a return call after many requests. I finally received an email from Matt in customer service stating that my order would arrive before noon on Saturday the 16^th. This arrival was guaranteed by Matt. My order eventually arrived Monday the 18^th, two days after my wedding. I now have 300 wedding chocolates sitting in my home. Honestly, the full refund does not make up for the absolutely appalling customer services I received at Beau-​Coup.

I just had a terrible experience with Beau-​coup. The items are undoubtedly cute. I ordered 4 things off the website for a party I’m having tomorrow for my mom’s birthday. The party favor I was most excited about was a personalized mint tin with a picture of my mom and my nephew. I paid a very expensive rush fee on it to ensure that the items would all arrive within 3 business days. Not only were all of the items late, the personalized tins never showed up! I called this afternoon to inquire about the status and a customer service agent said he would get back to me. He never got back to me, so I called again right now. Another customer agent told me that these tins never got shipped out… Um? The other stuff I ordered looked nice but was smaller than I expected (the pictures are deceiving). My favorite part of this was that the 2^nd customer service agent said that I shouldn’t worry and that I would be fully refunded, even for the rush fee. Oh, Thanks!
I would recommend to use a more reliable source!
