Blaze, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. Cliches aside, I love Blaze. If there were a food-related equivalent of the Crazy Cat Lady stereotype, I would be her. I have now consumed TWO forms of animal cheek at Blaze: pork and beef. Oh, how those tender and fatty chunks(yes, chunks — I’m not even grossed out by that word in this case) make me sing. For breakfast, there are vegetables! Vegetables, I tell you! Revolutionary! In short, I go to Blaze twice a day almost every day. The only complaint I hold is that they aren’t open for dinner, but that’s good because I would probably stay late solely to eat there. And their desserts aren’t as incredible(to my palate) as some other cafes on campus, but honestly, is that a bad thing? It prevents me from stuffing my face even more than I do. Bless you glorious people of Blaze. Bless you.

Hands down my favorite café here. Blaze is Mediterranean themed and awesome. The best pizza on campus. Of course, as with the other Google cafes — you need to be a Google employee or arrive with one. It can get busy so be warned… Arrive early or late if you dislike lines and want to immediately find a seat. The vegi entrees tend to be hearty and the pizza is normally unique and great. The people working here are friendly and overall it is just a great café. Highly recommended.

Blaze Café is one of the smaller cafes on the Google campus. It stands out though as they have a pretty large salad bar and — tata! — a bunch of stone ovens to create the most delicious pizza. Blaze also has nice outdoor seating area, as well as a barista. Expect long lines around lunch time but the most delicious pizza evvvar. As always, ask your friendly Google buddy to invite you for lunch and get stuffed!

One of the more popular of the Google cafes(they all get crowded), and rightfully so. Blaze is known for it’s pizzas and meat entrees. It is not quite as healthy as some of the other cafes, although there is plenty of healthy stuff, don’t worry. The line can be very long for the entrees as you often will find items like lamb, ribs etc here. Like every other Google café, there is a very nice salad/soup bar. I don’t eat much meat and pizza is not my favorite so we usually don’t eat lunch at here. However, they have some of the best desserts I have ever had anywhere. We always swing by after eating at Root to check out their dessert offerings. Last time it was lemon mascarpone cheesecake. A knockout. My favorite dessert I have ever had here has to be the ricotta beignets! They put the real deal in New Orleans to shame.
