The best part of this restaurant is the ice cold beer mugs… Service is friendly however it is very slow. Had a chicken sandwich that was all dried out almost like it had been cooked for fajitas a couple hours earlier then warmed up and put on a hard bun with avocados that was hard in texture… I had to beg for my bill so I could leave. Wife had to share tortillas with a friend of ours out of the same container. um that was a first… Bar tender was awesome so good for a beer stay away from the food

Pretty good! I hadn’t been to any Chili’s in 5 years, so I thought I’d check in. As a side note, I actually believe in supporting chain restaurants. I think they provide a nice dependable option, and locally, there is beginning to be such a backlash against these restaurants. Cities like Palo Alto seem to be trying to zone and pressure them out of existence because they don’t fit in with the snooty silicon valley lifestyle. Now that I’m off my soap box… we were greeted in a friendly manner. We waited on a Friday evening for only about 15 minutes. Our waitress came promptly and was quiet, but helpful. It was very lively inside. As some have pointed out, its a great place for kids because its so noisy in there. My son ordered off the kids menu, and that was fine with him. I split the 2 for $ 20 deal with my daughter. The chips and guacamole appetizer was good and really big. The guacamole was fresh and tasty. The only downside was that the chips are really thin, so they tend to break off in the guacamole. I felt like pigging out so I ordered the fried pickle chips for myself — its really oily so it is pretty filling for one person. I couldn’t finish it. The only wrinkle was that my daughter wanted a plain burger(not the bacon cheeseburger that’s part of the 2 for $ 20.) That type of substitution(really a reduction) was fine, but when they brought out the burger, it still had cheese. The waitress noticed it before I did and took it back for a fresh one. She also took the whole burger off the bill, which I didn’t even ask for or expect! I don’t think I should write much more — after all, its a Chili’s and I think most people know what to expect. In summary, we had a nice dinner and I would definitely go back.

I haven’t eaten at a Chili’s in at least three years. I was recently attending a training in Palo Alto and decided to give it a visit for lunch. Meh, I quickly remembered why it’s been so long since my last visit. I ordered my used-to-be-favorite appetizer, the Southwest Eggrolls. I received three(which is plenty for me!), but they were soggy and tasted like they had just grabbed a box from the Target nearby and warmed them up real quick. So, yuck on that. I also ordered a chicken sandwich and it was so messy that I took two bites and ended up calling it quits. The bun was so soggy on the bottom that I had quickly taken it off and just tried using a fork and knife, but, ugh, it really wasn’t good. I’m glad I tried it again, overall, just to sort of remind myself why a long wait in between visits is a good thing. And is it me, or does the whole place feel so kitschy now? You know? They have tablets on each table and you can play games(for a fee) and pay your bill and probably do your taxes while you wait for your meal. Do they really not want to deal with customers one on one anymore? It seemed so sterile and disconnected. I didn’t like that one bit. No bueno, Chili’s.

Great Food and Great Employees! In the bar, get Vic or Patty. At a table, get Pierre. The fajitas are amazing. The burgers with the house-made pickles rock! Who can say no to the chocolate molten cake?

Well, honestly, a 4.7 due to one nice but slightly over-bearing waitress. For what it offers, it does a great job. The burgers come med-rare and with good fries. Good, clean atmosphere for a business lunch which I use it for, almost exclusively, because of their generosity on a Veterans’ Day deal.

Had I known my to go order would be cold when picked up at the time I stated I would be there, I wouldnt have ordered it at all. I may have ordered an hour early in case it would be busy but that doesn’t mean they had to make it right then and there knowing I would be there an hour after the order was made. I was so pissed and disgusted I couldn’t even eat the food. Waste of 13 dollars. Won’t be coming back to this location ever.

honestly, the best service, like spectacular service, comes from Ricardo here. He’s a very sweet and attentive guy, never gets anything wrong, and try’s to be as quick as possible. Other waiters however, are either a bit rude, emphasize wayyyyyy too much on that dumb«pay ziosk» thing, I think those things are just clutter on the table. For those of you know don’t know what I’m talking about, it’s that bulky computer looking machine that’s on like every table at the restaurant. The food is pretty good, my favorite is the old timer with cheese. The nachos here are my families favorite, however, they put a new seasoning on them, it’s like cheap chili powder lol, skip that(trust me!!) we always order without it, no big deal, tastes delicious.

Went in today to try and get some lunch with my family we walked in and stood in the front waiting to be seated. Not once were we greeted or acknowledged by anyone. We still waited about 10 minutes, and nothing no one came out to seat us so we ended up leaving. Nice way to get rid of customers now I see why chili’s has gotten so slow. Won’t be returning here again.

The food here was 2⁄5 stars, the service on the other hand earned a straight 0⁄5 stars in my book. I do not get frustrated very easily because I understand that waiting on hundreds of people every day can be hard and stressful, but there is still a certain limit to bad service. My friends and I came in on a Tuesday night around 6 for dinner. We got in and waited around the lobby awkwardly trying to find a server to seat us. There were a couple servers chatting with a table of patrons, but no one at the service booth. What??? Finally after 5 minutes or so, I walked up to one of the servers and asked her if she was going to seat us. She grabbed some menus and finally led us to one of many empty tables. After sitting around for about 10 minutes, a waitress finally came to take our order. My friend and I shared the 2 for $ 20 deal, while my other friend opted for the bottomless soup and salad option. The food for the 2 for $ 20 deal came out pretty quickly, but my friend’s soup and salad took a lot longer. We thought maybe, just maybe, they were preparing some special salad, but when it did come out, it looked like it came out of a bag and was just thrown half assed onto a plate. So why did it take so long for them to bring it out?!? Being the growing young adults we were, we started devouring our food. My friend who got the bottomless option wanted more salad and soup, so we tried to flag down our waitress. 15 min passed. Our waitress was no where to be seen. All the tables around us were being checked on and asked if they were doing ok. At this point we were so frustrated that we decided we would just flag down another waiter and ask him to bring more salad. He nodded and then left. After 20 minutes, the salad still did not come. We found another waitress, asked her for salad, and 10 minutes later, she finally brings it out along with the water refill we asked for 40 minutes ago. At this point, we’re so pissed off that the food didn’t even matter anymore, we just wanted out. Low and behold, our waitress comes out just in time to bring us the check. Needless to say, I didn’t feel very generous when it came to tipping and I do not think I will EVER be back here unless they change their service drastically.

So this chillis as soon as we walked in had this weird and not good smell, like it was moped with dirty water or something… It haa this smell all over the restaurant… Not very fun eating with that smell… But the server named Ricardo made it up for us! This server was so ‘attention to details’ guy! Great waiter and really respectfull and kind! Very attended! I had the classic bacon burguer! It was super delicious! Clean and fresh ingredients! So if u are really picky about servers as I do ask for Ricardo! He will make ur visit satisfactory! I gave 3 star to this restaurant just because that funky smell! But the food and the service is 5 star for sure!

Just leave any expectations at home, period. Nothing bad happened, so if you’re looking for a juicy story here, it’s not that. It’s just that the entire outing is not quite worth it, even with a deal, 2 for $ 35 with(2) Margaritas, a Shared Appetizer,(2) Entrees and a shared Dessert. Mainly, it’s the food itself that’s of very much mee-h quality and taste. You pick an appetizer and entrees from their 2 for $ 20 menu, which offers limited options. The Presidente margaritas were not bad, one strawberry and one mango flavored, they come in individual shakers to poor into a smaller sized martini glass, enough for about three-portion-poored. We took Texas cheese fries(served in a skillet) half order for the appetizer, topped with Monterey and pepper jack and cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon, jalapeños and green onion — a Ok, but not sizzling hot, nor nearly as appetizing in reality as online picture might suggest(not that loaded with toppings). Half rack of baby back ribs each for entrees, one served with skillet mashed potatoes and another with regular mashed. Ever got a tray of cooked ribs from Safeway or Nob Hill for $ 9.99? It’s sort of like that, only worse. If you cut one of those Safeway’s racks in half, top it with cold BBQ sauce and serve it lukewarm, you get yourself a Chili’s order. If you warm it up in the oven or on a skillet dipped in sauce, and serve it while hot, you get yourself a better meal for sure. Lastly, it was molten chocolate cake, quite indulgent, with moist melted chocolate center and topped with vanilla ice cream and thin shell of chocolate poor on top of it. Similar to Fleming’s chocolate lava cake if you ever been. Their staff is friendly, our server in particular, no issues there, great. The inside of the restaurant smelled a little funny and felt a bit sticky, I’m just saying. It’s a national chain, so no expectations there. Not sure if their food is much above fast food though — just more extensive menu designed for the seat down experience. Solid 2 stars. I haven’t dined here for years and probably won’t do it again in the near future.

My drink tasted delicious, I ordered the Strawberry version of the El Presidente margarita! It came out in a cute shaker and was quite good. But the bar area was packed and they didn’t tell us that happy hour ended. We couldn’t find out server to cash us out so I had to go and find her at the register. Overall, the bar and kitchen are on it but though the server was nice, she wasn’t on point. She didn’t know the hours that happy hour ran.

Ate hear last night after work. Decided to get the $ 2 for 20 with included appetizer. I sat at a booth near the bar which had a lot of tvs and was kind of a small area. I loved sitting there and the place was very clean and looked newly built. My server was very young but was good and friendly. My food arrived very fast as well and was cooked to perfection. Ate Texas loaded fries-half order which was delicious and my boyfriend had half rack of ribs with fries and I had the chicken bacon ranch quesadilla which was really good. I found a hair in my food which was the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars and it wasn’t mine or my boyfriends. The place is also really small and kind of crowded so was the bathroom and it wasn’t really busy. Would go again.

wait for proper table or self-seating bar area… crowded and taking the booth at the bar…$ 20 dinner for 2 people deal… selection of an appetizer to share… taking the texas cheese fries… thick cut perfect fries smothered in cheese, jalepenos and bacon bits. ranch dip just add more calories… instant heart attack with gazillion calories, but so good… choice of 2 entrees… recommend the fajita… sizzling platter, hot tortillas, sour cream, and smooth and chunky salsa… simple and good fajita… taking the bacon cheese burger for 2nd choice… more fries included… big, thick and meaty, but dry burger patty… standard buns lightly toasted… average burger… cheap and filling meal for 2… pay at the table and leave…

Ugh, even rated on the«Just Above Fast Food» scale this Chili’s is 2 stars. I do not throw out this type of review lightly… it has to be earned and unfortunately this location earned it. The MO for all 3 of my visits has been the same; lack luster service and cold food. Here is a quick recap of last nights meal. Service was disinterested at best; plates kept stacking up and silverware didn’t show up until after entrees arrived(appetizers were all finger food thankfully). Appetizers arrived quickly and were hot. We had the Fried Pickles which are lightly battered and tasty(there are also fried garlic cloves mixed in which were a pleasant surprise) and the Planko breaded onion rings which were also good. Unfortunately all of our entrees arrived cold, not warm but cold. The«New Skillet Potatoes» were not sizzling, they were not hot at all, they were cold. The«New Dr. Pepper» sauce on the ribs was tasty but the ribs themselves were way over cooked, flavorless and cold. The kids meals were… well you guessed it; cold. The good news is that the beer was cold(wink) and the kids can be as loud as they want and no one can hear them over the din. At $ 75.00(including tip) to feed one adult and two children Chili’s is not really a value and the above mentioned service and food issues make it a two star experience.

I have always loved Chili’s. Their food is always solid. Drinks are always delicious. Service is really the only inconsistency. Some days they are on point and super nice, sometimes they are forgetting to put our orders in, then getting super rude when we ask for our food. We will always go back to Chili’s. Been going there forever. Just wish I didn’t have to complain about the service.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO The service here was terrible!!! We came here to have one last coronarita with our friend who is moving out of the country one not-so-busy Saturday night. It was a larger group, but we just wanted drinks and a few plates. Drinks came pretty promptly. A little while later we ordered these things: chips and guacamole, chips and salsa, a skillet cookie with ice cream, 2 fajita plates, Mac and cheese with shrimp, soup, and a veggie burger. ITTOOKLIKE45MINUTES. Our server, whose professional name was«Baby J», was missing or something. No one was checking in. We were like… Do they hate us? We thought to send out a rescue team… But there was our food, a million years later… Other tables had basically come and gone and the restaurant probably came under new management and that’s how we even got our plates(speculation). I think at any chilis, you either get stellar service or you get by helped people who can’t even pretend to be happy to have a job.
