Dr. Riccoboni, has been my dental specialist for over 15 years. His expertise and professionalism is reflected in his staff Jean and Collette. He has semi-retired but, his leadership is reflected in the smooth transition with Dr. Chu. I am in good hands for my continued dental care.

I did not enjoy my experience with Dr. Riccoboni. His front-office staff was excellent and very professional. If I were to go into detail about my experience, they’d be able to identify me, so I prefer not to. I also did not care for him telling me that the procedure was not painful and that I didn’t need pain medication. No offense, but I’ll be the judge of that. While I do realize that the DEA has begun cracking down on frivolous pain medication prescriptions(I am a medical professional), that’s not my problem and I did not appreciate him telling me what’s painful and what isn’t. When you write a prescription for pain medication, you document what it’s for so the DEA can audit a practice at any time. Pain is individual, and not dictated by what one person says or by a dentist/dr who doesn’t want to bother documenting things. The procedure was OK, but the other aspects of the visit were unsatisfactory. I am a firm believer that high costs are fine, but the service should be commensurate — I did not experience that with this practice..

I have had 5 implants done by Dr. Riccoboni over the past ten years. First off, he’s a pleasant guy to work with, he’s personable and concerned about the health of your teeth and jaw. His staff is excellent, kind, considerate and patient. His front office is friendly and welcoming. HIs work is outstanding, he’s not cheap, but with implants you pay for what you get. He follows up after the procedure and has always called after each implant surgery to make sure I was doing well. I have never had an issue with post surgery pain or extended discomfort. One implant caused some temporary numbness but that was because the location was close to a nerve and he explained that to me beforehand. I would highly recommend Dr. Riccoboni, he’s the only Dr. I will see for future work.

I broke my front tooth while eating a slice of pizza last year, I was referred here my by dentist. Dr. Riccoboni was great, he was very kind and walked me through all of the ups and downs of the procedure. His staff was very friendly as well. Not much else to say, I think its important that you have a connection with your Dr, especially since this implant process takes at least a year. yup. ONE long year! Thanks, look forward to finally having a tooth in a few months. :)

Dr. Frank Riccoboni is an expert periodontist and his reputation around the bay area is known. I had two implants done and being afraid of needles and blood I was a little apprehensive. He handled my case with extreme care and made me feel safe. He followed up with me a few times after my surgery making sure I was feeling okay. Additionally, his staff was very kind, welcoming, and informative. The newly remodeled office was very clean and high-tech. The hygienists and receptionist have all been there for over 20 years; now I know why.

I have been with Dr. Frank Riccoboni for over 15+ years. I have many implants and gum grafts done by him. He treats me like his family. I was comfortable during all my procedures. I can tell he has great hands because I’m a surgical nurse. His twin brother Carl Riccoboni restores teeth. Dr. Carl Riccoboni is excellent also. Trust the Riccoboni brothers. They will take care of you. Their offices are very nice, secretaries are very efficient(sometimes fighting with insurance company is half the battle) Carrie Chiang RN
