I came to Dr. Le due to a poor experience with a dentist in Palo Alto.
Wow, not only was the problem identified — the Doctor who had worked on me nicked root of #14 and slapped a crown on it and called it good. If you never had a healthy nerve nicked let me tell you death is a better option! The pain was so bad, I swore I would remove the tooth myself.
A friend told me about Dr. Le and about a week later, terrified I went in to see her.
The office is clean, the staff is friendly and they all work together as one unit. I can’t recall the last time I saw that in a small personal office.
Dr. Lee confirmed, yes, the other dentist nicked the root of 14 — but the tooth was still alive, and we wouldn’t have to do a root canal right away and maybe not al all.
More importantly, Dr. Le found I had a cavity and dying tooth on the other side of my mouth.
WHAT? I was shocked the other dentist hadn’t caught that big grey spot and my complaining about the pain where the root canal was now going to take place.
Dr. Le, shared the photos, we talked about a plan of action and we did a root canal right there in the office to save the tooth. Scheduled an appointment for the cavity for the following week.
I have been back to check the pain on #14; had my teeth cleaned and brought my son and his father to this amazing doctor.
Thank you Dr. Le, I had no idea that good dentist are out there!

I got my three fillings done one morning this week. I did not feel even a prick of the tooth numbing syringe needle before filling started. Dr Le was so gentle that there was no pain during filling and no sore gums afterwards either. I had so much problem last time with another dentist. I would highly recommend this practice to anybody and everybody.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Le for three years. I’ve had four wisdom teeth removed, two crowns, a problem with an old crown repaired, and a few fillings. I was travelling to San Francisco from San Jose because she’s *that good*, and I’m VERY excited that her offices are now in Mountain View.
She’s always done excellent work and is very good about following up with her patients. She shows that she believes in individualized care. She’s very friendly, and very enthusiastic about the work she does. She’ll bend over backwards to make sure you have a comfortable experience, and I’m picky about these things because I’ve got unusual innervation in my mouth that makes it hard to have a comfortable experience with almost any other dentist.
With Dr. Le, I’ve started to think about dentistry as an experience as painless as getting my oil changed. Absolutely fantastic dentist. I would recommend her to anyone.

One star because you can’t give any less. Katrina acquired this practice from Dr. Sandy Arita who we LOVED. I went for a filling replacement and found her to be argumentative. I felt strong armed into having an xray that I did not feel I needed and she argued with me about the numbing medication, I am sensitive to what she prefers so she wanted to argue with me about that. The office was very dirty the day I was in, it looked as if the floor had not been swept. very nervous about having my tooth drilled out in such a dirty space. I am looking for a new dentist who is more interested in the patient than being right. I believe that all of the staff I liked from this practice (originally belonging to Victor LoGrasso) have also left… even though patients are being told they are on vacation.

Dr. Le and staff were nice and made me feel very comfortable. I typically don’t look forward to my routine cleanings because they usually hurt and are quite uncomfortable. But, my recent visit at Dr. Katrina Le’s office was fantastic. The cleaning did not hurt one bit and I can say that I almost enjoyed it! Dr. Le was very thorough with my exam and clearly explained my gum measurements to me which was extremely helpful. I am looking forward to my next visit.

I use to go to Dr. Le when I was living in San Jose. I first went to see her when my tooth broke from eating a hard piece of candy. I was very nervous during my first visit with Dr. Le but she explained everything very thoroughly and fixed my tooth without any discomfort. I didn’t even feel the shot or have sensitivity afterwards which was surprising because my teeth usually are sensitive for at least a couple months after I get dental work. I think that’s when you know you found a good dentist.

Dr Le is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. She fixed and issue I had with a filling from a previous dentist, I’ve tried numerous dentists and none got it right, but Dr Le got it right on the first try!
