This bar is great all week long with Karaōke, music DJ and drag queen show on Wednesday night. Bartender here is friendly and the crowns also great.

Bartender is rude and pushy. Barely ordered one drink and asked for our money right away. She sang on the karaōke machine which was cool but then talked to someone for about 20 min while we waited for her attention to order our next drink Karaōke was fun !

Love the drag shows! I don’t get to go often, but they are lots of fun. Good strong drinks, standard for gay bars ;) karaōke is tons of fun too!

This place is a legend! It could use some serious love from the owner but the staff on weekdays make it great. I miss the couches and the mirror but they still have decent drink prices and interesting people!

I’m only reviewing Monday, Thursday, and Sunday karaōke nights.(Which are great!) 1. Like many people, the outside is fine… but there’s something really special inside that makes for Amazing! In this case, the something really special is the people. The bartenders — avg. priced drinks that are better than average and both the ‘tenders and drinks are friendly! Bruce the KORKJ has more hair and more songs than any KJ I’ve met… and both his smile and his style keeping things moving along are awesome. The other patrons! They’re great.(More on them later!) j 2. Nobody and nothing is perfect… we’ve all got a few blemishes we’d rather were different. For KOC, it’s the bathrooms. Oh, the bathrooms… there’s only so much concealer can do. Like any big olé zit, though, the experience is temporary and soon you’ll forget about it… especially since both people and KOC have so many lovely qualities! 3. The people. I keep hearing this called a «gay bar»…it’s really just a bar where the patrons are decent human beings. Gay, straight, disabled, white, Asian, black… these folks don’t care much about any of that stuff. Just don’t be a jerk and give talking to your fellow bar-flies a whirl. Bonus if you sing your first time… which you should(even if it’s something kind of easy… Jingle bells!)! Everyone will be super supportive. Promise! Just do your best… we were all new once! In not-too-many visits, you’ll be greeted by your new friends on the way in, cheered on mightily, and hugged when you leave! Who will hate this place: People who want quiet. Jerks, creeps, & anyone who cannot keep rude comments about others to themselves will be shown the door. See you to sing soon!

They have karaōke here every sunday, monday, thursday, and friday. This place is a great little spot located in mountain view. Its tucked away in the corner yet very noticeable. You can see it from the freeway. This is the place to be. Its a very welcoming place from all walks of life. Just great people here, having a great time, no hate. Bruce Rodgers is a great kj and you can tell he’s really at home here just like I felt. I miss it when I am not there. A Lot of these people are locals. Its a fun vibe and the wine is nice. Definitely only come here if your open minded and cool with all kinds of different people. Theres so much happening stuff at this place. I am soo glad I checked it out. This is really a place where you can come and just be yourself. The drink prices are really fair, the karaōke is awesome, and everyone here is really awesome also.

At first I was afraid, I was petrified Kept thinking l could never live without Unilocal by my side But then I spent so many nights Looking for a venue And I had no other choice But to choose the king of clubs So I say go Don’t hesitate Just do your thing Who cares what people say? Did you think I’d crumble? Well I thought I’d lay down and die. But oh not I I will survive This divey bar is smelly but oh it’s so alive I’ve got all my stuff to sing And you’ve got all the songs I need So bring it on and hail to the king of clubs! So I say go Don’t hesitate When I’m with my girls I don’t care what people say I will survive Yeah yeah!

Fun place! The bar has multiple events happening through the week so I will try to hit my thoughts on the different ones that I go to : Karaōke on Sun, Mon and Thurs is always, welcoming and friendly crowd, Kor Karaōke offers a fantastic selection and great service. The new once a month Tuesday thing is very Queer friendly and enjoyable — hoping that it continues Wednesdays are either a drag show — Game of Hearts(which is sooo much fun) or the goth night — Crucifaction(which is nice, dance floor is spacious, crowd is friendly and unpretentious), depending on where in the month you are. Both nights are fun. I do with the draft system was working but still a good selection of drinks.

This place is pretty awesome, for the most part. The karaōke selection is the best in the South Bay. I do wish they offered weekend karaōke. The new drag show there every 2nd and 4th Wednesday is also pretty great. Most of the performers are really talented and a blast to watch. 4th Wednesday host KaiKai is a lot of fun. 2nd Wednesday host Terry is… interesting. I’m not sure why a drag queen would sing instead of lip sync(especially when they sing that badly) but maybe I’m just picky. This is 100% my favorite dive bar. Great patrons, great staff, overall an awesome place.

This bar sure has changed over the years. I tended here 20 years ago and it was the place to be. Still seems to be a fun place but definitely not the same ol KCs I used to know.

Very forgiving with gay clubs… but $ 10 cover??? with no one around at 11pm??? and then 12.50 for a premium vodka/cranberry??? Seriously? I pay less of a cover in SF or San Jose and drinks are cheaper. Worth the drive…

I love this place the bartenders are awesome and the karaōke is always nice… The only thing is the bathrooms they are gross and in desperate need of a renovation!

Came here for karaōke on a Thursday and was not disappointed. Fair warning: go with a fun group, the bar was pretty empty. Karaōke was a blast and there were a bunch of regulars with stellar voices that we really enjoyed. Didn’t have beer on tap… which was strange. Also definitely a bit of an older/different crowd, not my normal scene. Overall had a BLAST with my friends — we were probably the only straight people there, lots of LGBT vibes(which made it seem friendlier). I’ll probably be back for another karaōke night sometime soon!

Well, I’ve never really spent much time in karaōke bars, but had a great time here! I don’t sing, but I did enjoy the wide variety of music they played. And the bartenders were GREAT! And the pool table in the back is a nice touch for those of us who are not singing. We can play while waiting for our friends to sing. Super fun!

We checked this out last weekend on a Saturday just because it’s the nearest«gay» bar from Palo Alto(we watched a play). We went and kinda skeptical to go in as soon as we reached the parking lot. To our surprise, they have a cover charge of $ 10!!! What in the hell?! We saw the crowd from the door and there were only like 12 people in there! We helle cracked up and decided to just call it a night. And it was 12am when we went there! And honestly, who would pay $ 10 for a cover charge at midnight in an almost empty bar… and in Mountain View!!!

This place has some personality. Aaron is probably the coolest bartender EVER! ^_^ Bruce is the Kj… super nice guy. Bar stools, a disco ball and good company is all you need. I had a blast! The only reason it’s not getting 5 stars is because it was a little tough to find, but otherwise pretty awesome.

This place has a mix of reviews because it’s a dive bar. So if you have a stick up your ass, this isn’t the place for you. If you’d like to go get some drinks with some friendly people who like to sing a wide variety of songs, come here on a Sunday, Monday or Thursday for karaōke or Tuesday for NOX. Check out the website to get to Bruce’s Kor Karaōke site to search his vast collection of music. This is my «Cheers» and I love it. Everyone here wants everyone else to just be happy, no matter who you are. But if you would prefer a slick, new club with no personality, don’t bother. (Go to Calendar for the Karaōke link) Oh and bring cash.

This bar really likes to sport it’s «5 green leaf» art all over the walls. I found that really funny. Went here for my friend’s karaōke birthday bash. I really liked the floor where you could dance or sing. To the right of the stage is this huge LED sign that says, «SEXY.» Haha. Drinks were on the okay priced side. I’m not sure how this place is on the weekends but it was okay on a Thursday night for me. I had a feeling that this become a Mexican dance club on the weekends am I wrong?
