I checked out Pacific Catch on a Monday during lunch hour. There was no wait and my friend and I were seated promptly. I really like the décor and atmosphere of the place. It fits in perfectly with the Mountain View plaza that it’s in. This would be a perfect place for a casual or business lunch! The waiter came quickly and got us water. After checking out the menu, I ordered the mahi-mahi taco and a cajun shrimp taco with a side of seasoned(spicy) fries. My friend got the rice bowl with seared ahi tuna. The food came quickly and the portion sizes were great! I would only caution not coming here if you’re on a tight budget, since there are almost no entrees on the menu $ 10 or less and everything’s around the $ 15-$ 20 range. However, my two tacos were actually only $ 13 and $ 16 after tax and tip. For three tacos, it would have been $ 16 alone. I really enjoyed the cajun shrimp taco. The breading on the shrimp was delicious with just a hint of spice. Great flavors. The mahi-mahi taco was basically your typical fish taco. It also had a spicy kick to it. Beware that the«side of beans» is basically a sample size cup of beans. The fries were so good! I love the cajun spicy flavoring on them. They were probably my favorite part of the meal. My friend’s ahi tuna was seared perfectly with just the right balance of spicy and salty pepper flavor. The toppings on her bowl included ginger, daikon, seaweed salad and more. They really complimented the flavor of the fish. The bowl was huge — definitely enough for two meals fro my friend! Overall we had a great experience here. If you only have one hour for lunch, this place is not only filling and efficient, but also delicious. Can’t ask for more than that!

I’m riding the poke train, and this was one of the stops. With all of the poke places opening everywhere, there’s better elsewhere. We only got poke here, and it was average. Not much to write home about, but there is a nice variety of choices.

Definitely recommend this place. Very friendly servers. We had Gus to start in the bar side and we had a lot of fun with him. when we moved to the restaurant we got Zac and we was also attentive! They have $ 4 pints during happy hour which is till 6. Their margaritas were quite amazing! And I don’t like tequila! We had the coconut shrimp and BBQ ribs in the bar as well and I recommend them both. Tons of coconut on the shrimp… mmmmmm. The sauce on the ribs were amazing and they were tender For dinner I had the blackened cod and again it was so tasty!!! Plus I had the brussel sprouts and I recommend them most definitely! They were roasted with bacon! Who doesn’t like bacon!!!

Had team lunch there with a group of 7. Service was fast for water and drinks but food was a bit on the slow side. I would rate higher but a few people in my group got Montezuma revenge and worst we weren’t in Mexico. We all had different meals but there was payback. Not sure if we go back. Only if you want to lose weight the fast way

Ambience: 4⁄5 Food: 4⁄5 Service: 3.5÷5 If you’ve watched the most recent season of South Park, you are probably familiar with SodoSopa. The area around this restaurant looks just like that, everything is modern with nice looking apartments nearby. The inside of the restaurant is clean and has a good amount of space and what looks like an open kitchen. I went on NYE and was pleasantly surprised that the restaurant was not at full capacity. The food was great. I had the Thai curry rice bowl with grilled salmon and chicken breast. From the menu, it includes sauteed eggplant, red bell peppers, green beans, cucumber, onions, toasted coconut, crispy shallots, and green curry sauce. This dish had a nice spice kick to it but I can’t really handle spicy food that well so for those who have a high tolerance for spice might not think this dish is that spicy. I also had a Dark and Stormy(their version of a Moscow Mule) and that was good as well. The only gripe I had about the service was that when I was ordering, the waitress said«you get up to two topping choices» which is why I chose salmon and chicken. What she failed to mention however, is that the second topping is $ 4.50 more. Now granted, I might not have read the menu carefully enough and it’s not really a big deal, but usually if an option costs extra, I’m used to being told so so that was a lapse of judgment on my part. However, even so, $ 4.50 for an extra topping seems a bit over the top in my opinion. Nonetheless it was a good meal and I would definitely come back if I was in the area.(I live in SoCal)

This place is awesome. We are always happy with the the ever changing seasonal menu and the standard menu items that are always tasty. The service is on point and everyone there from kitchen to door staff seem to really love their jobs here! Can’t wait to come back!

We dropped in pretty early Saturday morning, and boy were we glad we did! Service: We were greeted pronto by a super friendly manager and led over to a spotless booth. Our waitress didn’t miss a beat, immediately greeting us and taking drink orders. Food: food was so so. Manfriend loved the poke. The sushi was ok – it was the shiso each that really threw off the taste for me. Ribs were pretty good. All in all, I’d definitely come back. It was clean, friendly, and overall good food(especially poke)!

I definitely recommend this place. I organized a team lunch here and the atmosphere and service made the experience very pleasant. However, I had to take off a star because I don’t think a lot of the people were thrilled about their meal. I’m a Unilocal junkie so I knew that the Japanese Wasabi bowl was going to be amazing~~ but everyone else was a bit underwhelmed with their other entrees(except for my boss who apparently liked the potstickers HAHA but that just shows how unimpressive the rest of the meal was if the potstickers were the star). One unanimous agreement though is that the poke here is a hit! I had poke in my Japanese Wasabi bowl and it was yummy~ Others had poke as an appetizer and they loved it! I also appreciate how they offer sparkling water. All of their water is served in these beautiful, slim, blue glass bottles. Love the little details like this. Their customer service is also great. On a separate occasion, I tried to make a reservation for a Christmas party, but I was hung up on and ignored while making several attempts to speak with them through the phone. Upset, I messaged them through Unilocal and someone promptly contacted me and made things right. This is great customer service. I understand mistakes happen, but you need to know how to resolve things correctly, just like Pacific Catch does! **** TL;DR: Poke is good. For entrée, Japanese Wasabi Bowl is the best! Have a bad experience? Message them on Unilocal

I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE this place!!! By far my favorite lunch spot in that plaza. Food is always great and service is quick. Not the freshest foods considering it’s a chain restaurant, but I always leave this place satisfied. What I’ve tried: — Hawaiian albacore tuna poke(cucumber, chili pepper, daikon sprouts, nori, ponzu) — my favorite here! You can really taste the sear on the fish so that + the spice gives it lots of flavor. Highly recommend! — Salmon poke(avocado, green onion, toasted shallot oil, lemon) — a little bland in flavor compared to the other 2, but still decent. — Ahi Serrano poke(sweet onions, spicy aioli, serrano chilies) — Nothing super special about this, but tastes good. Just basic. — Thai Curry Bowl(sautéed eggplant, red bell peppers, green beans, cucumber, onions, toasted coconut, crispy shallots, green curry sauce) — with choice of meat(Grilled Salmon /Mahi Mahi /Chicken Breast /Shrimp). I went with the grilled salmon and it was delicious! Not as thick and spicy as traditional thai curry, but very flavorful. — Japanese Wasabi Bowl(seaweed salad, avocado, daikon sprouts, cucumber, ginger, sesame seeds, shredded nori, soy-wasabi sauce) — with coice of Hawaiian Poke /Grilled Salmon /Seared Ahi /Crab Salad. I get this bowl with seared ahi 90% of the time I come here. It’s my favorite thing on the menu! The best part about these bowls is that you can customize the rice/greens and go 50⁄50 or you can request less rice more greens(which is what I usually do). Dressing is super light so this makes for the perfect lunch! Great place for a drink and decent food. Love the interior of this place too!

I’d only been to the PC in Campbell, but just learned from my brother that they opened this one some time last year. I had always enjoyed my visits to the one in Campbell and only just learned about this one. So my brother went ahead and made reservations here because we normally experienced waits in the past. It wasn’t too bad this time as we made it for Happy Hour which cuts off at 6pm. Specializing Asian Fusion Seafood, this place has the typical PC décor with that smart and trendy casual open kitchen dining setting. You get a choice of table dining, booth dining, sitting at the bar(with flat screen TVs airing various sports), and outdoor patio dining(with heat lamps and fireplace available). I guess it was really chilly tonight, even with heat lamps, so there was no one sitting on the patio. Since my brother and his friend are regulars here, they knew the hostess, manager, and most of the servers so we received excellent, friendly, and very attentive service throughout the evening. I haven’t had any alcohol in over a year, but my brother insisted I try their Agave Margarita… low glycemic index for those on a sugar watch, but enough of tequila for a deliciously«healthy» happy hour drink… and yes, I still got a buzz even after just a few sips. We ordered a few happy hour food items like the Steak and Chicken Tacos, Baja Shrimp Ceviche, Thai Coconut Shrimp, Cabo Calamari, California Sushi Roll(with brown rice), and a salad. The first batch of calamari that came out was quite salty and not crisp so we sent it back for a fresh batch. The second batch was way way better! I won’t go into detail about each dish, but will just say that we thoroughly enjoyed everything! It was all fresh and very yummy… and wet great with the Agave Margarita! I definitely enjoyed this place and wished we had something like this in OC. Speaking to the manager, we were told that they had plans to open many more outlets… at least in the bay area… and that southern California would definitely be a great idea! Lets hope so because I’d be a regular there too! Oh, we were comp’d a huge brownie dessert… I don’t usually eat desserts, but must say that this one was really good… although a bit sweet for my taste… I still enjoyed the fresh brownie and its crushed macadamia nut topping :)

The castle Rock«central coast» pinot tastes really awful. I complained to the bartender who said «That’s what happens when you get a wine with a screw cap» What a jerk. If this is how you like to be treated, come here. The point is that the wine tasted as if it had been improperly stored and was definitely not how the grower intended it to taste. If this restaurant is okay with my dissatisfaction with the way a $ 9 wine taste & the bartender offers a flippant response. I think I can find a better restaurant, and you should too. Happy dining!

Mountain View is bringing sexy back to the San Antonio Shopping Center, with the addition of Paul Martin’s and Pacific Catch on the west side of the shopping center. The atmosphere at Pacific Catch is swanky with wood and stone textures, chic lighting and even an indoor waterfall. My Hawaiian Teriyaki bowl($ 16) came in a large portion size with a bit too much rice. Despite the name, there was very little teriyaki sauce in this bowl. The chicken was slightly dry on its own, but ok when eaten with all the other ingredients — edamame, shiitake mushrooms, carrots, fried onions and pineapple. The wife enjoyed her Japanese Wasabi bowl($ 16) with seaweed salad, daikon sprouts, avocado, shredded nori and Hawaiian poke. She liked the soy-wasabi sauce, which was different from straight up wasabi. Service was pretty on point. We had a party of 5, but everybody’s food was brought to the table at the same time; also, the waiter checked up on us frequently. 3.5 stars, rounded up for generally enjoyable food and an ambiance suitable for a date night.

Good food but bad service. Waited for an outside spot for 15 Minutes only to be informed by a manager«Sorry but you will have to sit inside.» — The habanero hamachi was just ok, not very good because of the creamy sauce doesn’t go with the raw onions. — Fish and shrimp tacos were very good, fried just right and had crunchy cabbage and avocado — Korean bowl was meh, lacked flavor

The Good: + Good happy hour selection of brews and bites + Pretty fresh poke + Swank outdoor dining area on a nice day The Not So Good: — Way too much seasoning on all the dishes we ordered including the poke — Cocktails were very sweet and syrupy Bottom Line: Very cookie cutter type food for the masses. Kind of sucks that Pacific Catch is starting to feel like an Applebees or Chili’s.

Pacific Catch serves tasty poke! The fish is fresh and you can customize your order with half rice and half salad! Definitely a tasty and healthy option for my tastebuds! The only con(which is why I couldn’t give it 5 stars): the poke bowl is pretty expensive at $ 16, considering you could get reasonably the same meal at a «poke bar» for less. At the end of the day, Pacific Catch is still a yummy South Bay option!

This restaurant came into my radar screen when circling the blocks in San Francisco looking for a parking spot to Yummy Yummy on Irving Street. Pacific Catch in the city always seemed busy, and I made a note to try it out. That opportunity came last Friday, we meeting up a friend for drinks. Our reservations were for 6:30pm, and when we checked in, I was concerned that we would have to wait for a table, as the restaurant and the bar, was already packed to the hilt. Luckily, we were immediately seated. The crispy calamari was well seasoned, and lightly battered — not to oily, and served with a sweet tangy sauce. The macadamia nut poke was well seasoned, I only wished that the ahi tuna itself would have been a bit firmer in texture(had it been, it would have been 4 stars instead of three) given the fact that they had a lot of poke selections — that with the high volume of orders presumably on a day to day basis, the product itself could have been a higher quality. I would be willing to take a price increase for better quality tuna. For an entrée, I had the crab louie salad — fresh crab meat, served over romaine lettuce, with a light and tangy louie salad dressing. The cocktails we ordered were prepared well and additional drink orders were delivered fairly quick(more so than other places).

Pacific Catch is seriously one of the best places to go to for HAPPYHOUR. The food portions are HUGE and the food items are delicious! Not to mention, the prices are pretty cheap and easy on the wallet. My favorite Happy Hour items include: Coconut Shrimp, Spicy Tuna, Roll($ 6 each) and the Korean Sticky Ribs, Inside Out Roll, & all of the Poke($ 8 each)! This place is sooo close to where I work; so I’m frequently here for either Happy Hour OR Lunch. During lunch time I like ordering their Crab Salad that comes with shredded cucumbers, avocado and a delicious soy-wasabi vinaigrette($ 15). I’m a creature of habit, so I haven’t tried much of their other food entrees, but from what I’ve heard and seen — they all look delicious. Service is a hit or miss here. There’s been times where I’ve dealt with very rude/slow service, and other occasions very fast/friendly service. The girl/hostess at the front can also work on her customer service/people skills a little better. The ambience is gorgeous — very clean, modern, and upscale type of feel. They have running waterfalls indoors and an awesome patio with fire-pits outdoors. Parking is easy to find, as there is plenty of parking right outside of the restaurant or in the parking garage that is literally just yards away. 5 stars for delicious food & a beautiful restaurant setting. –1 star for subpar service.

Friendly, fast and efficient service. Solid core menu including a variety of poke, ceviche and sushi rolls. Salads are huge, my favorite is the Ahi Tuna salad(which can be had with poke or grilled ahi, poke makes for a killer meal) containing greens, radish sprouts, avocado and gari. Great specials board that varies with the season. Nicely varied on-tap beer list and full service bar. Wine menu is well set up for food that is served but limited. Very nice outdoor seating with gas heaters and a lava rock fireplace. Super easy parking in structure. Pro Tips: Thai Iced Tea has free refills. Kind of reverse logic, but the quieter section is near the bar(seems to echo less). Cheers!

TLDR: An affordable version of Roy’s with 5 star service! I ordered the trio of poke(I chose California, Original, and Salmon). I was kind of thrown off by how small the cuts of poke were but I’m assuming it’s because you’re supposed to eat it with the wonton crisps. The wonton crisps tasted kinda powdery and the poke was decent but wasn’t to-die-for. I liked the Daikon salad, it tasted fresh and crisp and balanced out the salty fish. The seaweed salad was also quite yummy. The dish filled me up about 90% of the way. Overall it was a good dish that satisfied my craving for poke. If it wasnt for Gus, I’d probably give this place 4 stars. Gus was an awesome server! He was really attentive and recommended the Dulce De Leche spring rolls for dessert. It was AMAZING! Do yourself a favor and order this! The dough was warm and filled with this amazing sweet cream and paired perfectly with the vanilla ice cream. I was completely stuffed and satisfied after dessert. This place reminds me of Roy’s but less formal and more affordable. I’ll be back! :)

My boyfriend and I tried Pacific Catch for the first time tonight and were thoroughly pleased! This Pacific Catch is located in a highly trafficked area and is a popular spot so I would suggest making reservations, especially on weekend nights. It has a really nice outdoor area with a fire pit and heaters, would be great for a summer night! For food my boyfriend and I started by splitting the inside out roll and a grilled artichoke off of the daily catch menu. The sushi roll was fresh and flavorful and the artichoke was expertly cooked and served with a plate-licking good basil aioli. The only negative I could say is the artichoke could have used a little more salt. We then each got our own salads, I opted for the ahi tuna salad while the bf went with the pacific crab salad which were very similar aside from the meats. Both salads were tossed in a soy-wasabi vinaigrette that packed an awesome spicy punch. My ahi tuna was seared perfectly and tasted extremely fresh. On top of the food, we thought our server Jason was great! Very nice and informative. Jason let us know that on Tuesdays they offer half off their wine bottles so it’s safe to say I’ll be back… definitely on a Tuesday!
