Really great experience with Plaza Deli Café. We catered with them via a 3rd party vendor. They were a new addition to their menu options. From a catering perspective, this was the most professional and well catered food we have received to date. We cater 3 times a week, so that’s saying something. The presentation was clean, and all recyclable. Everyone had positive remarks for the taste and freshness as well. They did a great job!

The owner here is THEMAN for this deli! He’s awesome, always taking care of his customers. How you say? Well it was my first time and he started calling me by my name already. He also delivered my food to my table. Also gave me a free iced coffee and cookie when he charged me the wrong amount and knowing that it will take a while to refund and his customers are lining up out the door, gave them to me as a courtesy. So thank you!!! That’s customer service right there :)

aka«the secret deli» this place is truly one-of-a-kind. A completely terrible location, but by word of mouth Sam’s seems to always be hopping at lunch. Sam the owner is an outrageous host, knows everybody’s name(or will peek at your badge, credit card, etc to learn it), and if he senses it in you, will let you in on his hot sauce secret. The deli sandwiches are really good, but the masterpiece is the majadara lentils that the Ladies of the Plaza Deli cook up only on Tuesdays.

This is my favorite Deli and Sam always makes everyone’s day. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu but my absolute favorites is the Majadara lentil salad with carmelized onions on Tuesdays and the veggie delight sandwich on dutch crunch. Love this place!

Love this little place in the middle of Nowhere. Sam and his family always work hard and smile when they serve great food. Most importantly they go the extra mile to learn your name and more about your job and family and … so next time you go back you feel like going to your cousin’s Deli. In a nutshell, Great food and Great service and you wanna go back again and again. PS: Don’t forget to have lunch there on Tuesday when Mom cooks her Majadra. Rameil

One of the best«better«butter chicken I have ever had. It was creamy, different than the original butter chicken but it was awesome for my taste buds. Thank you Sam [ the owner ] for recommending it to me. I can definitely tell that Sam’s wife put a lot of heart in cooking this particular dish. Love this place !

Cozy corner that just turned 17 yrs old this year! Lip smacking food anyday of the week. Make sure you get in early on Tuesdays to get hold of the lentils and rice. It is usually devoured in minutes by tired techies.

Not bad, not bad. Friendly neighborhood sandwich place. It’s hidden in a business plaza… who would’ve thunk… but it’s right in the middle. The owners are super nice and friendly; the sandwiches are pretty good(maybe a bit pricey for sandwiches) but the atmosphere is nice, and really, I’m all about supporting local businesses! I’ve definitely been here a couple times, and the owners really do make it a point to get to know you if you come often(I don’t come often enough, but it’s obvious they do care about their customers). I love the hot sandwiches. But then again, a sandwich that isn’t heated is a cold sandwich(at least the bread COMEON)… They have wonderful tables which are great during the summertime for an outdoor relaxing lunch(not sure about the winter when it’s freaking cold out). You order your food inside at a small counter(CASHONLY) and then you go outside to wait. They bring your food out to you, and though it’s a small place, I never seem to have trouble finding a place to sit. There’s a water cooler outside where you can serve yourself water. They have your standard salads/chips/brownies/cookies and the like for purchase, and I do believe they serve soup too. Lunch is usually a simple meal for me though, so I’ve only had the sandwiches. Close enough, awesome enough, that I would definitely come back.

This is a *great* lunch place. It’s in a business park so there’s plenty of parking, but you might have to walk a min or two from where you parked around lunch time. There’s practically no interior seating so either get your food to go or be prepared to sit outside, but other than that I have no detractors. My boss says the drinks they make are amazing, and he drinks a lot of coffee and is pretty picky about it. Also, the sandwiches are pretty much the tastiest I’ve had. So far I’ve had a tuna melt, a turkey avocado sandwich, and a warm chicken sandwich and they have all been great. The warm sandwiches have the bread toasted giving it the perfect crunch to go with the soft sandwich ingredients inside. The owner is also really nice and friendly and if you go a couple of times he’ll most likely remember you and strike up a friendly conversation. If you haven’t been and you like sandwiches, go there now!

My favorite restaurant during working hours. The soup is great, also the sandwiches. And every Tuesday they have great Magadera! Sam the owner is always giving you the best service.

I had some time to spare and was hungry so I picked this place based on the reviews. I was not disappointed. I was greeted right when I walk in. Now I know it was by Sam. He was very nice and friendly. He gave me a little history about how long the place has been opened and asked if I was able to find it ok. If you’re paying attention then you will see the sign. Sam knew right away that it was my first time, he also knew everyone else that walked in and where they come from for lunch. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and it was amazing. Sandwiches are one of my favorite foods and this definitely held its own. If I’m ever in the area and need a great lunch spot this will definitely be my first stop.

Great food, great service, friendly owner. Had a chicken arugula panini, fresh fruit salad, and a «protein bar» as the owner called it(brownie) which was freaking chewy and chocolatey in every way you expect. My only complaint is that if it wasn’t for Unilocal and my GPS I never would have seen this place. Even the signs blend in with the office complex it’s buried in. Will be back.

I love this deli! Sam and his staff is great. First time I walked into Plaza deli, Sam introduced himself and since day one, he remembers my name, greets me with a big hello. Hands down to their food. Tuesday’s is my favorite day to stop into Plaza deli(mujadara). Yum Yum! Anyway, if you are considering this deli, don’t think just go!

This is the only place to eat within walking distance of the office parks in the area. Enough said. People congregate here at noon, walking out of their offices in a daze in search of falafel, pita sandwich, or veggie burger. The owner and his wife and son are friendly and welcoming. All of the food is good, which speaks volumes since it’s the only game in town if you can wander far from the office. Everything here is made to order and brought out cheerfully. There are only a handful of tables outside, so once they are taken, you will find yourself hovering until someone leaves. If there’s a big group at one table, you may just be stuck with a table and no chair. Tip: Get there early at 11:30 a.m. to grab a seat at the tables outside.

The sandwiches were fabulous and the level of service was unheard of for a mom and pop shop, or most restaurants for that matter. The freshly baked Dutch Crunch bread hugging my tender roast beef sando was amazing. The flavor-packed tomatoes were drip-down-your-chin juicy. This cute little deli is totes amaze compared to any Subway or Togo’s. We ordered the Plaza Club, Avocado Delight and Hot Roast Beef and Cheese. We weren’t aware of the cash only policy, but Sam, the owner, generously offered to let us figure out the payment after the meal. After the sandwiches were made and his wife came by to drop off our order, she didn’t mention anything about the money. We were able to enjoy our sandwiches without the pit-in-stomach burden of debt looming over us. However, after grinding on those yummy sandos, we got some cash to settle our bill. Look for the«Plaza Deli» sign on the street. We would have missed the driveway otherwise. There’s another sign in the parking lot too, which helped us to select one of the parking spots nearest the deli. We’ll definitely be back for more sandwiches! Thanks for blowing my mind, Sam and wife!

I’ve been here twice for lunch during the week and although it’s a bit tucked away among office buildings, it’s been a great find. I’ve had their falafel sandwich and another sandwich that had grilled chicken. Both were really quite fresh and perfect for a light but satisfying meal. What really stood out to me about this place though, is the owner. He is super chill, amiable, and cheerful. And he remembered me from the first time I came, which was probably more than a month before. The food is already good, but it’s the people that really make you feel good when you come. Just wish it was tucked away near my office so I wouldn’t have to drive.
