I come here regularly to work while my kids are in preschool(the only 3 hours I get alone on these days). So I’m evaluating this Starbucks as a workspace(now I wish I could find a Unilocal-like site that did just that, or maybe a way to search Unilocal reviews for that perspective — I want to know how reliable the internet is, not how good the donuts are). For working this place is pretty nice. There’s lots of space to sit, including tables both inside and outside that are ideal for laptops. Inside in the back is a room with enough outlets. There’s a grocery store and restaurants nearby if you want to get food, which is convenient. The parking lot can get full around lunchtime — but I found the secret parking lot on the roof of the Safeway that’s never full. The background music is mellow and quiet, so it’s easily ignored or drowned out with headphones. I order tea, not coffee, so I can’t comment on the main draw of the place. But the line moves fast and the staff is friendly. No complaints there. Two complaints about this store that take off a star: 1. The AC/heat cycles in modes of freezing and warm that last about 15 minutes each. I’m a cold person, so a warm person might complain that it cycles from comfortable to hot. Be prepared. 2. The internet connection is pretty strong — I can run my programs without much trouble. BUT the connection drops every now and then for about a second. Depending on what you’re doing, this may or may not matter. Watching Youtube videos, the buffer should help out with this. But I routinely get kicked out of the server I log into to work on my code, and I really hate having to log back in.

Starbucks coffee is good easy and convenient! My issue is why a barista would use their naked hand to close the lid of the coffee cup touching the sipping hole. Flu season now and all the germs passing around especially handling money and stuff!!! Nasty!!! To Starbucks corporate, please retrain all personnel handling the coffee to not touch the lid opening when attempting to help customer cover the coffee!!!

If only they opened this Starbucks earlier when I was still living here… anyways this is a really nice Starbucks to complement the new residential area, though I guess it’s not really new at this point. Interesting layout – the line goes in a loop if it gets really long. Plenty of outdoor seating which is great for a nice sunny Californian day and mostly high tables on the inside. Okay experience mostly because it was painfully slow when I went. No one got any complicated orders but perhaps the barista was new because I waited around 10 minutes to get a caramel latte.

This has to be one of the nicest Starbucks I’ve ever been to AND the line always moves quickly. Plus it’s easy to park, clean, and there is even a nifty little fake fireplace to make you feel all warm and fuzzy. Good stuff.

Was impressed that for a single barista, Aimee was able to take all of the afternoon orders and have our drinks ready in a quick turnaround. Very friendly and never knew I could use my Safeway card as part of my points too!

Newest Starbucks I have ever seen… Still smells new. Spacious and cozy. In a very busy area, so it should do well. Nice people too!
