Excellent service, great furniture. We’re really happy with the Sausalito flat-​weave collection– elegant, comfy and durable. Transformed our back yard into a resort-​like setting. We took advantage of Terra’s sale prices and paid a lot less than if we’d ordered the equivalent through one of the big chains, which is amazing given that we also had excellent service and prompt, smooth delivery. Ralph answered all of my questions, listened to what we needed in terms of form and function, and helped me select just the right pieces and material. Even the delivery team was top-​notch. They repeatedly asked me if I was happy with the arrangement and whether I wanted anything moved around. Very happy with the whole deal.

We bought a trampoline for our 2 boys at first. The only regret we had was that we didn’t buy it sooner! We came back to purchase one of their beautiful patio furniture sets and tables. We were able to take advantage of the Labor Day sale (50% off!). We always receive excellent service when we shop there.

I recently had a very positive buying experience at Terra Patio. I looked at Patio World and American Leisure as well, and the staff at Terra was by far the most knowledgeable and friendly. Additionally, I did some online research and found that Terra’s prices were just as good. David, the store manager is usually in the store himself and greets many of his customers. You definitely get the feeling of a small locally owned business that cares about it’s customers. Service, product knowledge, quality, and price. I definitely recommend Terra Patio & Garden.

We had been looking for some high quality patio furniture for a while. We originally purchased a set from Costco online, but were extremely disappointed in the quality. We drove from Santa Cruz to Mountain View to check out the furniture at Terra Patio. Our daughters LOVED playing on the trampoline, which in turn made shopping easier for us. We were very impressed with the selection. The quality was top notch and the designs they offered were all very beautiful. We actually had a hard time choosing. We purchased a set and brought it home. One of the chairs had a bent frame which caused it to wobble. When I spoke with the manager, he offered to deliver a replacement chair to Santa Cruz and waived the delivery charge.
We truly enjoyed working with this company.

I’m looking at all the teak places nearby. I’ve been to 5. For the 3 that are located on the Peninsula, Terra’s teak quality is probably a close second to Blue Sky. However, unlike the other two places, Terra sells a lot of non-​teak furniture as well.
Dave, the store manager, was also very helpful and provided good customer service. Based on my spreadsheet, this place has the most competitive pricing, for the items I’m looking at, at the currently time.

Not only am I happy with the product, I’m very impressed with their commitment to customer satisfaction. They went above and beyond to correct a difficult situation. Wow! this place is as good as it gets! I have recommend a few of my friends of this place already. This company is here to stay for sure!!! Thank you!

I purchased a table over the telephone after having seen it while visiting San Francisco. Sadly, if I had known customer service would be so poor I would have bought the table elsewhere.
I have received the run around since Tuesday about when the table was shipped and when it would arrive. I was told it was shipped on Monday, then Tuesday and today I was told it shipped this morning. When I called the office I was told it shipped yesterday and still no one can tell me when it will arrive. I was given a tracking number yesterday that would not work (apparently because it had not been shipped yet), but the store employee did not know this because he «does not do the shipping — only one guy does that.» Elsa, told me during our conversation two hours ago that she would get back to me with a arrival date — and still nothing.
The communication at Terra Teak is very poor and customer service is less than exemplary. Althought they have good products with great warranties — so do many other companies and perhaps with better customer service.

I bought a hot tub here last June and had a great experience. (I’d been to 3 other local hot tub stores — some were dirty, some tried to up-​sell me, others carried random lines.) David was really friendly and professional. (I loved the fact that my two kids could play on the trampoline while I got my questions answered and made decisions.)
They carry Dimension One spas — a line that has been around for a long time. When I first called they offered to stay open a bit later so I could make it in after work, when I had a question later I called in and another employee was happy to look up my order to answer my question. David didn’t pressure me at all or try to sell me something other than what I was describing I wanted. I appreciated the low key environment. The tub was delivered a few days before I was told to expect it which was great.
I LOVE my hot tub — it’s the first time I’ve owned a hot tub and now spend almost an hour in it every night. The kids play in it nearly every day of the week. We use it even more than I dreamed we would.

After doing research, I found out that JumpSport and AlleyOop are the best trampolines. Their website said that the closest retailer for these trampolines was Terra Teak, which was 10 minutes from our house.
On a rainy afternoon, I took my 2 girls and their friend to Terra Teak.
David, the manager, let the girls go nuts. They jumped on the trampoline, played on the play structure for over an hour. In the meantime, I perused the shop. They have high quality outdoor furniture, hot tubs, and kids’ play things.
I told my husband about the place. He was skeptical but came to the store the following day. He really loved the merchandise there AND the manager.
We ended up buying not only a trampoline but also a play structure AND a hot tub. David is honest and gives great deals on high quality products. He’s also able to deal professionally and get along well with sometimes ornery people like my husband (who is not a people pleaser to say the least).
Whenever we need stuff for our backyard, we now go to David. We’re confidant he’ll give us expert advice, show us the latest products, and give us a great deal.

I went here today to buy some covers for chaise lounges I had bought elsewhere. David, the employee who helped me, was perfectly helpful until it came time for me to pay. He wanted my name to put on a large form he was writing out. Then he wanted my address. I said I did not want to give my address because I saw no need for it and did not want to receive junk mail. He insisted that he needed an address «for the accountants» and that management insists he gets an address. I politely said, «Sorry, but I just don’t want to give my address.» He then snapped, turned red, and said in a very nasty tone, «Well, then buy them somewhere else!» He then fulminated for a few minutes and said he was «sick of getting crap about this,» and that he needed an address. I was very tempted to walk out in a huff because I hate to reward poor customer service by spending money at a store, but I had already driven 20 minutes out of my way to get the items and I knew I would be even more frustrated if I left without them. I then gave him a fake address, which he understood I was doing. I told him that I had not been «giving him crap,» and he said that he had been referring to what he gets from management.
I will not return to this store again, or any Terra Teak location. If management is going to insist on asking for addresses, they need to come up with a better bogus reason than «the accountants need it.» Or perhaps David didn’t get the memo that while management would prefer that customers give addresses, they probably would not prefer to lose a sale over it. They just lost all my future sales.

This place is awesome.
I was a walkin off the street and decided to take my chances. We came in to buy a trampoline and ended up buying a trampoline, play structure and hot tub. Dave, the store manager, was super helpful — truly felt focused on being helpful as opposed to just upselling. He followed up in the weeks after we placed our order, helped us thru delivery and installation issues. Then he came thru again recently (six months later) when we were in the market for some additional outdoor furniture. When we found a defective piece, Dave simply had a replacement part delivered to our house, within two days, at no charge — without us even asking for that. Great product and exceptional service. Consider me a lifetime customer.

I only wish that I had a need to buy more furniture, as this was one of the best purchasing experiences I’ve had in a long, long time. David, the owner of the Mountain View shop, was outstanding, provided a friendly, stress-​free environment. He was honest, open, and fair. He discounted as he could, and was honest where he could not. He remembered your name, and made you feel welcome. Kids were playing on trampolines, people were trying out different pieces, and overall, it was just a relaxing place to purchase furniture. When the furniture arrived, the cushions were not available for another few days, so David threw in some cushions to use while the others were on backorder, so the furniture could be used. it was comfortable, high quality, and there was zero «buyers remorse».
Bottom line, the experience was great, the quality is high, and the price was right. I could not suggest it more.

This place has incredible teak patio furniture. It also sells hot tubs though I don’t need one. Very helpful and cheaper than many other places for the top of the line furniture they carry. Door-​to-​door delivery available also which was great also.
