Came by for a fill up the other day and the price was slightly below market rate for Top Tier gas. Fuel pump was in good working condition with Pay at the pump and receipt paper was available after filling up. Squeegees and paper towels were both available too. There is a slight discount for paying via cash.

Great customer service, Honest and good price on a smog check. Better then there competitor down the street by 50% better… No joke… If you need a Smog check give these guys a try and tell them your a buyer at $ 28.00 dollars, since they advertise that price on the net. Best of Luck.

For your own safety, AVOIDTHISSTATION. This station has at least one defective pumping station, which sprayed close to 3 gallons of gas all over my body after I disengaged the pump from my car. The exact same thing happened to an elderly woman who was filling her toyota at the same time on the opposite side of the pump. Modern pumps are supposed to shut off automatically when removed from a vehicle. These are either old pumps that remain in operation illegally, or modern pumps in a state of disrepair. Either way, this is a violation of code not to mention a serious fire hazard. When this issue was raised with the operator of the station, he rudely told us «The pump just does that,» refused to acknowledge that the pump was a hazard, and told us to leave. Rather than get involved in an argument with this shady individual, I filed a police report. To add insult to possible immolation, my credit card was charged for the extra gallons that drenched my clothes. Looking back at the other Unilocal reviews, six years ago in 2009 the Unilocal user«pimple w» wrote a review reporting a very similar issue with one of their pumps failing to shut off, and a similar response from the station management. I find it incredibly disturbing that this station has been operating under such negligence for this long. This station should probably be condemned.

I like the fact that they have a cash price for gas. I don’t go for anything else, so don’t have complaints about anything else.

Valero is my favorite gas station in Mt. View — good fuel prices and centrally located right at El Camino Real and 237(Grant Rd.) — close to In and Out Burger.

I love that there is never a wait but I do show up at random times. They always take my car for a SMOG, the mechanic is really mellow and is a bit on the quite side but he is QUICK. I drop the car off, take the kiddos to In and Out for a quick meal and poof, the car is done. Great service, good prices, good location.

Normal gas station experience… Cheapest on El Camino lots of times, especially when you factor in the cash discount… which may be less than legal, but hey. I’m still paying less than the other stations nearby, so it’s hard to complain too loudly!

SHADY. Don’t get your smog test here unless you want to enjoy their«2 for 1 special». Whats their«2 for 1 special»? Easy. You pay them twice, and they give you a smog pass once. It’s shady, they have a theme where they fail your car on the first check, and then they ask you to come back for a re-test, and ask for an additional fee, so that they are actually making double the money, when your vehicle probably passed the first time. I came here to fill up my tank and got quite a bit more than I asked for — 2 whole gallons in fact. While I was cleaning my windscreen I heard a dripping noise and turned around to see fuel gushing from my tank all over the floor. The nozzle kept leaking fuel until I replaced it in its holder. I told the manager the pump wasn’t working and had overfilled my tank and he scoffed that there was nothing wrong with it and very rudely refused to do anything. After driving off, I came back to take a look at the address and saw another customer merrily using the pump — obviously the manager hadn’t seen fit to tell him not to use it even though there were 3 other pumps open at the time. Do you really need to waste your time and money and be treated like s*** in the bargain? If not, drive on 10 feet to the next station!

This was my regular stop for diesel fuel(which can be hard to find) for more than two years since moving to Mountain View. Not any longer, since they have begun to charge more for credit purchases and tack on a fee for debit card purchases within the last month. Mastercard/Visa regulations require merchants accepting the cards to threat them«just like cash.» Charging a premium for credit card transactions is a clear violation of these terms, which means this is a less-than-reputable establishment that cannot be trusted on any front. Not to mention greedy. Sorry guys, there is a cost to doing business and accepting credit/debit cards.

This gas station has a small snack shop. It’s gas –sometimes crowded. The advantage to this gas station is that if you try to make a right coming down El Camino and need gas you can fill up and leave on the side street that wraps arounfd the back side of a carwash and in n out burgers putting you onto Grant Rd without waiting at the street light. A shortcut if you find yourself there during rush hours.

I go here sometimes when I’m in the area and low on gas. They take credit cards, had squeegee to wash my windows. 3÷6÷07 at 21:12 got 87 gas for $ 3.059/gal. Total gallon 8.258 so my total $ 25.26. More expensive than Fremont that’s all I know.

Valero is a cheap gas station, but I always wonder if that is because the gas is a little shady. This one is often crowded. Next door is an In-N-Out and beyond that is a Chevron, with a 76 station across the street and a Shell up Grant. Take your pick!
