Great place for an eye exam. The Dr was super friendly and chatty.
Minus one star for the rude receptionist. His voice and attitude while he was checking me in immediately let me know that he hated his life and job. With that attitude, he is going to stay at Walmart forever. He’s the black guy, I think his name started with a D.

Called Wal-​Mart to get their hours. Waited 20 minutes on hold. Finally a guy answered and said they were open the next day until 8. Went in the next day. They closed at 5:30 due to it being the day before thanksgiving. I looked. The hours stated that on every other day they do open until 8. Came back the day after thanksgiving at 5:45. Was told the docotor went home at 5:30. This is bs.

I’ve been going to this vision care center for 7 years and have had total satisfaction. My eye exams are done at a reasonable price along with having a good staff to help me with selecting and fit of my eye prescription needs. Also anytime I need adjustments to my frames they take care of it asap.

The staffs and doctor were very cool. Eye checkup doctor was very friendly. At First, I provided a wrong insurance card and I forgot that I had different insurance for Eye care. Since the co-​pay was too much I realized I provided a wrong insurance card, The staff was very cool about it and asked me to print the actual insurance with their system. I will recommend this vision center for checkup and eye glasses.

While they have a new eye doctor on duty, everything else from the helpfulness, friendliness, and speed from the staff of workers remains the same.
Doctor Simon Lai is the new optometrist at this location. Similar to the previous optometrist, he is very friendly, patient, and is willing to listen to your questions and concerns.
Regarding eye exams, the price is still a flat fee of $ 58, which is a good deal. Call ahead of time to make sure they accept your insurance at this location.
I noticed that they hired a couple more employees since my last visit, which allowed me to get in and out of the office rather quickly.
As I mentioned in my previous review, if you’re looking for good customer service from experienced professionals, and you don’t want to spend a lot of money, then this is the place for you.

Forget LensCrafters, Target Optical, and any indy optical shop. This Wal-​Mart Vision Center is the best optical shop in all of Santa Clara County and the entire South Bay. Dr. Hong Nguyen or Dr. Taylor Tran will give you a complete eyeglass exam for only $ 58 here, and you have the choice of buying your frames in-​store or anywhere else you please. I highly recommend Wal-​Mart Vision Center to everybody in Santa Clara County, San Mateo County, and the South Bay looking for an optometrist.
